The attorney’s messages show that he was distressed at the FBI’s decision in October 2016 to re-open the investigation into Clinton’s emails. Democrats have claimed that decision hurt Clinton at the polls. The FBI lawyer also suggested that he would work to resist the Trump administration. “Is it making you rethink your commitment to the Trump administration?” one FBI lawyer wrote on Nov. 22, 2016. “Hell no. Viva le resistance,” the future Mueller attorney responded. During interviews with the office of the inspector general, the lawyer claimed that his “personal political feelings or beliefs … in no way impacted” his work on the Clinton or Russia investigations. The lawyer did acknowledge that the messages created the perception of anti-Trump bias. He told investigators that he “can understand the, the perception issues that come from” the Nov. 22, 2016 exchange. The special counsel’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

This report confirms investigative decisions made by the FBI during the pendency of this investigation were unprecedented and deviated from traditional investigative procedures in favor of a much more permissive and voluntary approach. This is not the way normal investigations are run. The investigation was mishandled. The investigatory conclusions were reached before the end of the witness interviews. The July 5th press conference marked a serious violation of policy and process. And the letters to Congress in the fall of 2016 were both delayed in substance and unnecessary in form. Moreover, the treatment afforded to former Secretary Clinton and other potential subjects and targets was starkly different from the FBI’s investigation into Trump campaign officials. Voluntariness and consent in the former were replaced with search warrants, subpoenas, and other compulsory processes in the latter. Many of the investigators and supervisors were the same in both investigations but the investigatory tactics were not. Former Director Comey violated Department policy in several significant ways. The FBI’s actions and those of former Director Comey severely damaged the credibility of the investigation, the public’s ability to rely on the results of the investigation, and the very institutions he claims to revere. The report also conclusively shows an alarming and destructive level of animus displayed by top officials at the FBI. Peter Strzok’s manifest bias trending toward animus casts a pall on this investigation. Bias is so pernicious and malignant as to both taint the process, the result, and the ability to have confidence in either. The law enforcement community has no greater ally in Congress than me. But continued revelations of questionable decision making by FBI and DOJ leadership destroys confidence in the impartiality of the institutions I have long served, respected, and believed in. COMMENTS This is not the FBI I know. This is not the FBI our country needs. This is not the FBI citizens and suspects alike deserve. It is now urgently incumbent on Attorney General Sessions and Director Wray to take decisive action to restore Americans’ confidence in our justice system. IG Horowitz is scheduled to testify before the joint congressional investigation next week. |

Just wanted to poke my head in and give many of you guys a well-deserved tip of the cap. I understand that you’ve stood against a strong current for quite some time. Although you’re undoubtedly horrified right now (and rightfully so) that these elements have indeed existed / continue to exist in the manner that they do, I think it’s definitely appropriate to feel a bit of pride to be vindicated in the way you have been today.
“We’ll stop it.” … I see that as an undeniable sign of intent to usurp democracy.
Internet handshakes and a sincere “congratulations” to many of you for sticking to your guns. I hope you do take a pause and reflect that it was worth it for standing up for what you believe in.

So let's see. Stroke and Page did nothing but talk about how something had to be done to stop Trump. These same people were allowed to be involved in interviewing Huma, Mills, et al. Comey made his decision concerning Hillary before interviewing her - not under oath; not taking notes; etc. He then decided he was also the DOJ when making his decision. But there's nothing there.

I am no longer a conspiracy nutjob it appears. This whole thing was a coip attempt in the most free country in the world by a rival political party. In most countries they would line them up and shoot by now but here they are out makimg millions on books and other shit and walking free still. I hope this awakens our citizens. And this is just the start too. Plus we will never know all these crooks did either so much was covered up and proof is now hidden/gone.
Crooked Hillary is not just a nickname. And all the rest. She should be in fed prison for her email scandal alone not even counting Uranium and other scandals.

So, did the IG report turn the tide for you? I am curious how many became convinced today. Mostly just glad more people are waking up, though. Congrats on being brave enough to be open minded. The real question about the "We'll stop it" text is who removed it from the record given to Congress?? They didn't redact it. They removed it. That's a MAJOR difference. Who removed it, and why? What else did they remove? Who gave the orders? The answers to these questions will point to how big this problem is. But, its time to look under the rug. |
