Boomtown Rats. Elvis Costello. Squeeze. Spyro Gyra. Toto. Police. Molly Hatchet. Dire Straights. Cheap Trick. Quiet Riot. Devo. I'm sure there are others.

That, and what is referred to as “classic vinyl,” Zepplin, Floyd, Stones, Tho Who, Doors, etc.

These folks are great, and are at the Brady all the time. My old boss is a huge fan, and goes all the time, making me jealous.

I saw them about a month ago and they were great. He's fantastic and she can play too. They hardly ever come around here.

Mike Zito and band(Dry Johnson) @uncle Bo's, Topeka, Ks. Fantastic show from one of my favorite people/live acts. Besides being a great musicians he's a genuinely nice guy. They played 2 sets of blistering blues and assorted rock. The rythym section laid down some great backing for his many solos. Check him out if you haven't already. This means you and Mrs. Hermit, Herm. Next up - Larkin Poe Mike Zito - guitar, vocals Terry Dry - bass Matt Johnson - drums

All depends upon if Jim Moody can get him here. But I think he has been to VZD's in the past.
Mrs Hermit said the other night, that she'd like to get out and see some live music, she's missed it. Nothin like live music.

Become a member of TTB Swamp Family Fan Club for $40 per year ......... ya get early shot at tickets, but since they rarely come close to OKC, this would be a waste of my money. I don't see any other benefit to make it worth it . TTB Swamp Family

Well, I've done the same, Mrs Hermit and I just cracked open a Great Divide Yeti. And we've got some music loaded, copied CDs sent to me by kcrufnek, its an Eric Clapton 4 CD box set, Crossroads , released in 2007 and selling on Amazon right now for $47 . Got it on shuffle. Greatly appreciated !
But I'll try to get to The Avett Brothers.

The box set contains songs like this one " All Your Love " . Clapton had left the Yardbirds, cuz he did not like their direction, too much toward pop music and not enough blues. He joined John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, who had one big album before Clapton left to form cream.
With this maybe being the best known track. EC was playing a Gibson then and using reverb he made this riff . Song was later covered by SRV and Gary Moore.

Love Dire Straights. Mark Knopfler is a rock god. I love Slow Hand too, but I kinda over listened to it in my teens. Yardbirds was a pre-super band. Anyway, I love blues and rock too. You’ve prob heard this one, but just in case not, thank me later. youtu.be/1uHC28E4TScThis dude also kills it: youtu.be/_Mtt7eT-go4

Ohhh hell yeah, saw GC Jr at Cains Ballroom about three years ago, but he first showed up at Claptons 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago. His best work is on the Gary Clark Jr Live album, he's much better live than in studio.
