Judging by some very recent YT vids, it appears SF has dropped the horns and fiddle from her band, its now a foursome.

Her two new songs seem to have a different sound. I don't have a problem with her stripping it down. I saw something not too long ago and the horns were there.

Would you travel for that? The site has some bad ass shirts. Maybe we're on the second leg.

I saw the show in Tulsa at the Brady in 2016. It was good. But we did not go just for this show, the next night Gary Clark jr was Cains. So we doubled up. Since I've seen it once, I doubt I would make the trip to Tulsa.
And I see the show is the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa, I have no knowledge of that venue.

I keep waiting for her to outgrow the blues bars and Knuckleheads.

I'm not surprised she's gone over big in the UK, Brits turn out for American blues/rock acts. They all want to tour the U and Europe. I think Joe B is in Germany right now.

Keb Mo makes an album inspired by Oklahoma. I saw him at the referenced benefit in 2013 with KWS. Was a helluva show, KWS was already scheduled at the Diamond Ballroom and then when the tornado hit Moore, he changed it to a benefit and called Keb Mo, Robert Randolph, to play along with opening act Trampled Under Foot. Keb’ Mo’ to release “Oklahoma”At her show Ana said she and Keb holed up for a couple weeks and wrote her new album. Her show was really good. Not just blues. Funky, jazzy, bluesey, etc. Lots of good stuff and she can definitelt play. Looked good doing it too. Not to shabby for 43.

Two nights at Knux in September. DNB will be headlining on Saturday. Plenty of good stuff for $50.

And another one, sometimes, its easy to forget just how good this guy was. What happens, is his discography is limited. And once you've heard those songs, no matter if he never played them the same, over and over .... his work on the guitar gets stale, for lack of a better word. For SRV, its best to put his music away for a good long period, then go pull it out .. I have the dvd of this show at the El Macombo in Toronto, in 1982, IIRC .. ?? I think anyway, may have been 1984 , but it was early 80's ..........back in a time when I was young.

He has never gotten stale for me. Or for a lot of other people. Seeing Ally Venable last night was proof he still exists. He's why she got into music.
This is from the first time I saw her. She closed her show last night with this.
I was lucky yo have been to this show. Harlings is long gone. Almost three hours from early on.
