In the latest revelation concerning the "mysterious Maltese Professor," Joseph Mifsud, and his involvement in the "Russiagate" saga, Disobedient Media can additionally reveal that Mifsud interacted on a number of occasions with individuals tied to think tanks known for engaging in "pay to play" behavior for the purposes of pushing specific policies on behalf of donors. dailycaller.com/2018/06/11/msnbc-guest-north-korea-meeting-distraction/Mara Gay, an editorial board member for The New York Times, suggested Monday on MSNBC that the meeting between North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and President Trump exists to distract from the Russia investigation. “This is not just a meeting about foreign policy, this is about Donald Trump’s political survival. He has said to friends that he plans on taking a win in North Korea to the voters. That’s their midterm message; that’s all they’ve got,” MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said. “That’s right,” said Gay. “I mean that’s what’s actually so terrifying in part.” Gay added that “thinking about this realistically, we know enough about President Trump to know that he’s not going to come home and say that he failed. He’s going to call this a win no matter what.” Wallace and her guests bantered until Gay later added, “You look at the polls, it’s really interesting because the more that we’re talking about North Korea, you know the less we’re talking about Russia, right? The less we’re talking about issues at home, and I think you see, you know that’s true for Kim I’m sure as well.”

I'd like to believe all of that, that Rosenstein really is one of the good guys who wants to do what's right for the country, but I just can't quite go there yet. I'll believe it when I see it. I'm having trouble getting past the fact that he wrote the strongly-worded memo that recommended, in no uncertain terms, that Trump fire James Comey. Then, once the firing happened, he almost immediately appoints Mueller in part to...wait for it...investigate if Trump "obstructed justice" by firing Comey.

www.nationalreview.com/news/paul-manafort-trial-mueller-ordered-name-key-players/amp/A federal judge has ordered Special Counsel Robert Mueller to identify by Friday all of the individuals and companies involved in former Trump-campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s Ukraine-lobbying operation. Mueller will be required to turn over to the defense the names of top European politicians who participated in Manafort’s efforts to lobby on behalf of Ukraine without registering as a foreign agent, as is required under U.S. law, Politico first reported. The Tuesday ruling also requires the special counsel to identify other witnesses whose testimony Manafort has been accused of trying to influence — an accusation that resulted in two new felony obstruction of justice charges last week. “While the government may be correct that the law does not necessarily require the Court to order the requested disclosure, the Court has broad discretion to resolve a motion for a bill of particulars after weighing the parties’ interests, and here, defendant is obliged to prepare for a complex trial with a voluminous record within a relatively short period of time, and he should not have to be surprised at a later point by the addition of a new name or allegation,” U.S. District Court judge Amy Berman Jackson wrote. The decision is a welcome relief for Manafort’s embattled defense team, which is currently representing him in federal courts in Virginia, where Jackson is presiding, and Washington, D.C., where their client faces faces charges of money laundering, failing to register as a foreign agent, and obstruction of justice. Manafort has pleaded not guilty to all charges. While Mueller’s attorneys resisted calls to identify the other witnesses in the case — likely due to the constraints placed on their ability to charge individuals and companies not currently on the list — the most prominent individuals that will likely be named, including former Italian prime minister Romano Prodi and former Austrian chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer, who have both acknowledged involvement in Manafort’s foreign-lobbying campaign. Mueller’s team must hand over the list of names to Manafort’s lawyers by Friday but will not be required to make the names public.

www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-06-12/mueller-scrambles-limit-evidence-after-indicted-russians-actually-show-courtSpecial Counsel Robert Mueller is scrambling to limit pretrial evidence handed over to a Russian company he indicted in February over alleged meddling in the 2016 U.S. election, according to Bloomberg. Mueller asked a Washington federal Judge for a protective order that would prevent the delivery of copious evidence to lawyers for Concord Management and Consulting, LLC, one of three Russian firms and 13 Russian nationals. The indictment accuses the firm of producing propaganda, pretending to be U.S. activists online and posting political content on social media in order to sow discord among American voters. The special counsel's office argues that the risk of the evidence leaking or falling into the hands of foreign intelligence services, especially Russia, would assist the Kremlin's active "interference operations" against the United States. “The substance of the government’s evidence identifies uncharged individuals and entities that the government believes are continuing to engage in interference operations like those charged in the present indictment,” prosecutors wrote. ...... Politico's Gerstein notes that by defending against the charges, “Concord could force prosecutors to turn over discovery about how the case was assembled as well as evidence that might undermine the prosecution’s theories.” In a mad scramble to put the brakes on the case, Mueller's team tried to delay the trial - saying that Concord never formally accepted the court summons related to the case, wrapping themselves in a "cloud of confusion" as Powerline puts it. “Until the Court has an opportunity to determine if Concord was properly served, it would be inadvisable to conduct an initial appearance and arraignment at which important rights will be communicated and a plea entertained.” The Judge, Dabney Friedrich - a Trump appointee, didn't buy it - denying Mueller a delay in the high-profile trial. The Russians hit back - filing a response to let the court know that “[Concord] voluntarily appeared through counsel as provided for in [the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure], and further intends to enter a plea of not guilty. [Concord] has not sought a limited appearance nor has it moved to quash the summons. As such, the briefing sought by the Special Counsel’s motion is pettifoggery.” And the Judge agreed... A federal judge has rejected special counsel Robert Mueller’s request to delay the first court hearing in a criminal case charging three Russian companies and 13 Russian citizens with using social media and other means to foment strife among Americans in advance of the 2016 U.S. presidential election. In a brief order Saturday evening, U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich offered no explanation for her decision to deny a request prosecutors made Friday to put off the scheduled Wednesday arraignment for Concord Management and Consulting, one of the three firms charged in the case. -Politico In other words, Mueller was denied the opportunity to kick the can down the road, forcing him to produce the requested evidence or withdraw the indictment, potentially jeopardizing the PR aspect of the entire "Trump collusion" probe. And now Mueller is pointing to Russian "interference operations" in a last-ditch effort.

This whole thing is a delaying tactic. Dems and crooks keep hoping to delay thru midterms and are hoping to win majority so they can shut down committees investigating the investigstors. Its a failed plan but its all they have. Thats also why they are going all out to discredit NK talks and any other good news. Trump is just plugging along every day making things better which digs the Dems hole bigger and bigger. Even the possible MJ laws fixed at Fed level is huge and problematic for left.

That said, Rosenstein was responding to a threat to hold him in contempt of Congress - and the "threat" to subpoena GOP records was ostensibly in order for him to be able to defend himself. Rosenstein allegedly threatened to "turn the tables" on the committee's aggressive document requests, according to Fox. “The DAG [Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein] criticized the Committee for sending our requests in writing and was further critical of the Committee’s request to have DOJ/FBI do the same when responding,” the committee's then-senior counsel for counterterrorism Kash Patel wrote to the House Office of General Counsel. “Going so far as to say that if the Committee likes being litigators, then ‘we [DOJ] too [are] litigators, and we will subpoena your records and your emails,’ referring to HPSCI [House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence] and Congress overall.”

He isn't active and is only hurting the cause - which doesn't seem to bother him. I think most right thinking people know what he is. The left never turns on their own. The only reason Franken and Conyers are gone is because of Roy Moore. Had that situation not happened the left would have never started tossing their own overboard. Look at people like Menendez and the former congressman Jefferson. Republicans in their same situation would have resigned before any charges were brought. Look how long they stood by Wiener.

Hillary and Obama will remain untouchable. I'm much more interested in the upcoming report on FISA abuses, spying on campaigns, etc., which will then expose the Russia/Mueller investigation as the fraud that it is.
