The state of Kentucky is cracking down on Easter weekend worshippers by recording the license plates of people who attend services and forcing them to “self-quarantine” for two weeks afterwards. Taking license plates at church? Quarantining someone for being Christian on Easter Sunday? Someone needs to take a step back here,” Senator Paul said. Democrat Governor Andy Beshear announced the effort on Friday, saying that the state “will be recording the license plates of those who show up to any mass gatherings and provide that information to the local health departments, who will in turn order those individuals to be quarantined for 14 days,” CNN reports. www.cnn.com/world/live-news/coronavirus-pandemic-04-10-20/h_b4be41de7c88fcb42c5aafb4965a75e1The health departments will be going to the homes of people who attended services and serving them with a quarantine order. Folks, we shouldn’t have to do this,” Beshear said. “I think it’s not a test of faith whether you’re going to an in-person service, it’s a test of faith that you’re willing to sacrifice to protect your fellow man, your fellow woman, your fellow Kentuckian, and your fellow American.” Gov. Beshear boasted that the state is down to just seven churches that are still “thinking about” having Easter services this weekend. Maryville Baptist Reverend Jack Roberts is planning to defy Beshear’s attempt at shutting down churches and posted his reasoning on Facebook. “Politicians need to stick to trying to figure a way to steal our money and leave the spiritual life of America to the ministry of those God called to preach the WORD,” Rev. Roberts wrote.

Police officers in Greenville, Mississippi fined Christians $500 this week for attending a drive-in church service in a parking lot. The Christians were parked in their cars with the windows rolled up, but the police fined them for violating the state’s ‘stay-at-home’ order. “The police in Greenville, MS went to Temple Baptist Church this evening and gave everyone there a ticket for $500 because they had a drive in service,” Charles Hamilton Jr., pastor of King James Bible Baptist Church posted to Facebook earlier this week. “Everyone was in their cars with the windows up listening to pastor Arthur Scott preached on the radio. What is harmful about people being in their cars listening to preaching with their windows up? Christians do you all see what is going on?” Chris Owens, a Temple Baptist Church goer who attended the drive-in service took video of a cop giving him a ticket for sitting in his car with the windows rolled up. Mr. Owens told the cop his church was still complying with the social distancing orders by having attendees sit in their cars, but he gave him a citation anyway. Temple Baptists Church Pastor Arthur Scott told Todd Starnes that one of the police officers said the mayor wanted to make an example out of his church. “I told them to get some more tickets ready because we will be preaching Sunday morning and Sunday night,” Pastor Scott said. “The police officer said I might go to jail,” Scott added. “If it means going to jail and if it takes that for me to keep preaching, I’ll be glad to go to jail.” There were a total of 25 cars in the church parking lot and everyone received a citation from the police officer. On Thursday, Dr. Ali Mokdad, a rep for the Bill Gates-funded IHME dodged questions about the low Coronavirus cases in Japan despite not doing “across the country lockdowns” like the U.S. He didn’t answer the question because he has no answer. The University of Washington IHME Center has been putting out numbers on the coronavirus pandemic for several weeks now… Each one was just as sketchy as the last. It is important to note that the IHME models predicting hundreds of thousands of dead Americans had social distancing and total lockdowns baked into the projections. Americans were told that if they all stayed home and only went to the grocery store when necessary, over 200,000 would still die. The IHME keeps revising their models because they have been WAY off — the latest projection model was revised downward from 2,000,000 projected deaths to about 60,000 deaths. On Friday night Ali Mokdad joined Bill Hemmer on FOX News and announced that Washington, New York and California are going to start going down in their number of coronavirus deaths. California has seen only 584 deaths. The state has 39.4 million people in the state. They shut down the the world’s 6th largest economy for 584 senior deaths. Ali Mokdad and his model team should be tossed in jail for fraud.

www.foxnews.com/media/james-carville-republicans-kill-peopleJames Carville says Republicans ‘will kill people to stay in power, literally’
Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville claimed Wednesday that Republicans were so intent on maintaining power that they would literally “kill people” in order to do so.
“My kind of mission in the short-term is to sound the alarm to say [that] Mitch McConnell and the Supreme Court — they’re going to do everything they can to hold onto power,” Carville said duing an appearance on MSNBC.
“This thing in Wisconsin was one of the most awful things I’ve ever seen in my life,” Carville added, referring to the controversy over whether to postpone the Badger State’s primary elections due to the coronavirus pandemic. “The extent that they will go to to hold onto power — it was all about one Supreme Court seat in Wisconsin — they will kill people to stay in power, literally.”
Neither MSNBC anchor Brian Williams nor former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, pushed back on Carville’s claim.
Earlier in the segment, Carville predicted that Trump would emphatically lose his bid for reelection in November.
“I am totally, totally unimpressed by President Trump’s political powers,” he said. It’s amazing how confident Carville is in Biden. From the Washington Examiner: www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/already-picked-their-nominee-james-carville-predicts-democrats-wont-have-convention-of-any-kind“The Democrats have already picked their nominee … Joe Biden,” Carville told radio show host John Catsimatidis the same morning. “There’s not going to be a convention of any kind.”
Biden’s opponent Bernie Sanders has not yet dropped out of the race, and the former vice president said he recently spoke with the Vermont senator to inform him that he was moving ahead in the process to select a running mate.
Carville said there’s a rare chance Biden will not be the nominee.
“A lot’s going to have to happen to him if he’s going to lose,” he said. “If he just stands there and does nothing, he’s going to win.”Carville may be in for a big disappointment in November.

www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/04/10/abortion-funding-surveillance-mail-in-voting-progressives-unveil-wish-list-for-next-coronavirus-stimulus-bill/Abortion Funding, Surveillance, Mail-in Voting: Progressives Unveil Wish List for Next Coronavirus Stimulus Bill Increased abortion funding. Stimulus checks for illegals. Permanent housing guarantees. Mail-in voting for elections. Minimum wage hikes and more union access. The large-scale release of imprisoned criminals. An extensive national disease surveillance program. These are just some of the far-left, Big Government proposals being peddled by influential progressive organizations for Democrats to include in the next round of emergency stimulus funding, which the groups say should be at least as large as the $2.2 trillion CARES Act. The Center for American Progress (CAP), which functions as an idea factory for the Democratic Party, compiled its wish list for the next round of recovery legislation during the Chinese coronavirus crisis. Reprising the repurposed progressive anthem of never letting a crisis go to waste, the CAP’s list of recommendations for the next stimulus package clearly seeks to use the coronavirus crisis to achieve many longstanding progressive policy aims. The CAP tells lawmakers that the pandemic “requires Congress to significantly expand the measures included in the CARES Act and other COVID-19 packages to reflect the expected magnitude and duration of the disruption.” The CAP recommends the construction of a robust surveillance program, including the following (below are direct quotes from the CAP plan): Surveillance testing (including training volunteers) and to build tracing teams. App development (or funding for state licensing of the technology if privately developed) that will be necessary for instantaneous contact tracing. Additional funding for developing a national disease surveillance program going forward. CAP wants to use the pandemic to fundamentally transform the voting system, requiring all states to “significantly expand vote-by-mail opportunities; implement at least 14 days of early voting; adopt online and same day voter registration.” Here, CAP, which is funded by billionaire activist George Soros, joins a slew of other Soros-funded progressive groups seeking the expanded use of mail-in balloting for elections by citing fears that coronavirus makes it too dangerous to vote in person. Republicans specifically fear the prospect of voter fraud, since mail-in voting would be harder to authenticate. Stimulus payments in the next round of legislation must also include “undocumented individuals and mixed-status families where even just one parent is filing their taxes with an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number and the other parent and all children have an SSN,” CAP writes. Instead of turning off extra unemployment insurance benefits after the coronavirus pandemic is over, CAP advocates that unemployment insurance “and other stabilizers” – ostensibly stimulus checks — “should be automatically tied to economic conditions, so that continuing and future crises don’t require ad hoc action.” The next stimulus package must ensure that “permanent stable housing must be connected to wraparound services or a continuum of care that is flexible and tailored to the individual or household’s needs.” CAP adds: “In addition to permanent protections for renters to ensure that they aren’t pushed out of housing once it is obtained, rental and deposit assistance must also be targeted to currently unhoused people to guarantee their successful transition into longstanding housing.” For the next stimulus bill, CAP wants those defined as essential workers to get paid minimum wages of at least $15 dollars and they must have the ability to join a union. Progressives have long pushed minimum wage hikes despite warnings that such proposals could lead to disastrous economic consequences. The federal minimum wage hike is a progressive plan that in the past was marketed as a “living wage.” The living wage scheme, deployed in the past locally, has a history of hurting small businesses, negatively impacting local economies and decreasing employment opportunities for low income workers. Indeed, the living wage has monumentally failed during numerous high profile trials. CAP, in the meantime, wants to use any upcoming coronavirus legislation to “protect and expand access to reproductive health care,” singling out abortion. The progressive group states: Reproductive health care is essential health care. Congress must act to expand access to reproductive health services, including abortion and contraception, especially given the unknowns about how pregnancy intersects with the coronavirus. CAP joins other Soros-funded groups by advocating the release of “low-risk and elderly incarcerated persons.” It also wants pandemic legislation to “secure additional resources and funding for currently and formerly incarcerated persons.” Earlier this week, Breitbart News reported the Soros-funded Brennan Center for Justice submitted a letter to the governors of all fifty states urging them to use executive action to “release as many people as possible from incarceration” due to coronavirus fears “provided they do not pose serious public safety threats.” The letter cited concerns that the U.S. prison population could face greater risk of illness and death than the general public due to the Chinese coronavirus pandemic. CAP’s wish list for the next stimulus bill advocates for funding so “limited English proficient” patients can “access care in their preferred language.” The pandemic legislation should also ensure “enhance[d] funding for agencies’ enforcement of civil rights and anti-discrimination protections,” CAP argues. Besides the recommendation document, CAP President Neera Tanden was one of 14 signatories to a “statement of principles” by progressive groups urging Congressional leaders to ensure the government massively intervenes to stabilize the U.S. economy. “It is clearer than ever that we need major government intervention to stabilize the economy and put us on a long-term path to resiliency,” the progressive leaders wrote in their missive.

www.breitbart.com/clips/2020/04/10/meeks-voting-reform-for-2020-election-has-to-be-in-next-bill/Meeks: Voting Reform for 2020 Election ‘Has to Be’ in Next Bill During an interview on MSNBC on Friday, Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY) stated that voting reform “has to be” in the next coronavirus bill. Host Joy Reid asked, “Is it going to be possible for Democrats to get voting reform for this November election into the next bill?” Meeks responded, “It has to be. It’s disgusting, to me, that an individual who is a member of Congress [doesn’t] want people to vote. It’s — the very essence of our society is our democracy. People vote. People died for the right to vote. And we must be able to vote in November. And so, we should pass a bill to promote the very thing that we tell everybody else is extremely important, our democracy and the right to vote.”

www.breitbart.com/national-security/2020/04/10/hayward-china-declares-u-s-has-worlds-worst-coronavirus-response/Hayward: China Declares U.S. Has World’s Worst Coronavirus Response China’s state-run Global Times kept up the Communist Party propaganda offensive on Thursday with an editorial accusing the United States of being “second to none among all countries in terms of the poor antivirus performance.” The editorial was part of China’s relentless effort to gaslight the world into forgetting where the virus came from and forgetting that Beijing has consistently lied about it, right up to the latest absurdly false case numbers. In effect, this is an effort to punish the civilized nations of the world for being honest about their struggle with the disease and it is uncomfortably harmonized with certain American political and media narratives. Here is the Global Times taunting the United States on its supposedly world’s-worst response to the Wuhan virus: www.globaltimes.cn/content/1185194.shtmlWith the most national strength and the best public health facilities, the US did nothing when the virus set its footprint on US soil and became the new epicenter of the pandemic. So far, there are more than 430,000 confirmed cases, with new daily cases reaching 30,000 and a daily death toll of nearly 2,000, the world’s highest. All the advantages of the world’s most developed country have been eroded by the pandemic. The US has become the virus’ slaughtering field. It is also one of the most dangerous sources of infections and exports a large number of infected cases to its allies such as Australia. The severe setbacks of the US anti-virus fight will drag the entire process of the world’s containment of the virus. The US is supposed to display its strong economic power and assist other countries in the face of a global public health crisis. But the epidemic made itself baffled enough. It is not capable of providing urgent medical supplies to its allies and countries badly hit by the virus. Instead, the US snatched up medical supplies from other countries. All these have disappointed the international community. China is the original “exporter” of the virus to all the world; China’s lies about the virus were biggest “drag” every other nation has experienced against containing the disease; China used all of its overseas companies to “snatch up” medical supplies, and banned foreign factories on Chinese soil from supplying their own countries as the pandemic exploded across the globe. Compare the CCP’s latest propaganda to the content of American news media. Here is CNN on Thursday echoing the CCP’s argument that America has a disproportionate number of coronavirus fatalities and deaths: This assumes China, Iran, and other authoritarian nations have accurately reported their number of coronavirus infections and deaths. Every time a U.S. news outlet proceeds as though China was telling the truth, the CCP’s primary goal of obscuring its responsibility for the pandemic is advanced. The next step down this absurd path would be suggesting American doctors could learn valuable lessons from North Korea’s amazing achievement of having zero coronavirus infections. Furthermore, as people capable of doing math pointed out, the U.S. does not have an excessive share of coronavirus deaths even if China is left completely out of the equation: Another harmonization with the CCP’s agenda occurred when researchers said on Thursday that, based on genetic analysis, New York City’s earliest coronavirus infections may have been brought by travelers from Europe rather than arrivals coming directly from China. A shocking number of the less-thoughtful critics of the Trump administration immediately leaped to the conclusion that this meant all of America caught the coronavirus from Europe, China was blameless, and President Donald Trump was foolish for attempting to restrict travel from China during the early stages of the pandemic. Even a child would probably think to ask the obvious follow-up question of where Europe got the virus from before passing it along to New York City, or how the virus arrived in the even earlier hot spots on the other side of the United States, but the CCP has shrewdly calculated that America’s political opposition is not interested in thinking so deeply about anything that might damage the incumbent president. There are, to put it simply, plenty of eager American buyers for the narrative China is selling. The Global Times wrapped up its criticism of the U.S. coronavirus response with the CCP’s other favored narrative, which is that asking questions the conduct of China or its proxies “politicizes” the pandemic and inexcusably interferes with efforts to resolve it: The US tries to protect itself when plunged in dilemma. But it has left the destructive impact to the world. When humanity needs unity most, the US government launched an ideological war to duck responsibility, pushing the international community to a state of division. The political selfishness of Washington has been substantially exposed. It attacked China first, then took aim at the World Health Organization. These crushed world unity and confidence in fighting the pandemic and made people worry about the wider destruction the pandemic may cause. We are now living in a disorderly and chaotic world. The vicious virus, the polarization of US politics and deepening international divergences have plunged humanity into unprecedented uncertainties. A jumbled, irresponsible and impulsive US greatly enhanced the risks the world is facing. Here again, the CCP will find many partners in America and Europe who do not want to explore China’s responsibility for the pandemic. Political correctness is riding to Beijing’s rescue in the form of allegations that only “racism” can explain criticism of the Chinese government. Another CNN report on Thursday touted a study that claimed anti-Chinese racism is surging in the United States because the researchers found a “rise in derogatory terms for Chinese people” on the notoriously toxic forum 4chan, which is brimming with derogatory terms for everyone and everything. One of the great dangers with buying Beijing’s line on the pandemic and accepting its false data on the virus is that it becomes intellectually difficult to resist the other half of the CCP message: China deserves thanks for becoming the coronavirus savior of the world. This line was pushed hard in another Global Times editorial on Friday that argued China is poised to take leadership of the global economy after the Wuhan virus completes its global rampage: Warning of new difficulties and challenges for China’s economic and social development, President Xi Jinping on Wednesday urged “preparedness in mind and work” to cope with prolonged changes in the external environment, and efforts to minimize losses caused by the epidemic. Xi made the remarks during a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, where the country’s top leadership discussed epidemic prevention and control and fully advancing work resumption, the Xinhua News Agency reported. The meeting underscored the urgency felt by top leaders to reopen the economy despite the uncertainties and risks involved. It also provided a glimpse into how the country is planning to move forward on both fronts: normalizing anti-epidemic efforts, including strict quarantine and contact tracing, while stepping up efforts to lift the economy. […] Domestic consumption contributes to more than 70 percent of GDP growth. With uncertainty continuing to loom over overseas markets, officials and businesses are also counting on the domestic market to make up some of the export shortfall to ease the pain. Chinese officials are also actively expanding export channels for domestic producers, including organizing large trade shows, increasing air and train cargo capacity and streamlining customs clearance procedures. In any event, [Peking University economics professor] Cao said that the domestic market is “big enough” and there is “plenty of time” left in the year to make up for the lost time and money, but just like during the epidemic, reviving the economy will also require a whole-of-society approach. There is already a widespread social mobilization underway to save the economy, with the participation of governments at all levels, large state-owned and private corporations, and even ordinary citizens. The U.S. plan for economic recovery will be crucial for both domestic prosperity and international security. We are beginning a fateful race between capitalist democracy and fascism, which is a more accurate description of the current Chinese system than “communism.” Fascism lost that race in the previous century and has been spoiling for a rematch. There is ample room for criticism of the U.S. government response to the pandemic at every level, from the White House through federal agencies and down to city officials. If the critics really want to help the free world, they would do well to read Chinese Communist media and try as hard as they can to avoid sounding like it.

Partisan hack and ABC News reporter Jon Karl asked President Trump about mail-in voting at the daily coronavirus press briefing last week. Karl and his Democrat colleagues are using the current crisis to push for mail-in voting. This is something Democrats desperately want to make into law because they know it’s easier to cheat that way. President Trump told Karl “no” because people cheat with mail-in voting. Jon Karl: Do you think every single state in this country should be prepared for mail-in voting? President Trump: No, because I think a lot of people cheat with mail-in voting. I think people should vote with voter ID. I think voter ID is very important. And the reason they don’t want voter ID is because they intend to cheat. When you buy something you look at your cards and credit cards and you have your picture on many of them. Not all of them but many of them. You should have a picture for voting. It should be called voter ID. And it shouldn’t be mail-in. Excuse me. It shouldn’t be mail-in voting. You should go to a booth and you proudly display yourself. You don’t send it in the mail where all sorts of bad things can happen by the time they sign it, if they sign it. By the time it gets and its tabulated. No, it shouldn’t be mailed in. You should vote at the booth and you should have voter ID. Because you have voter ID that’s the real deal. If the coronavirus is still killing thousands of people a day in October this country’s economy will be finished. Democrats won’t have to worry about mail-in voting. President Trump was right!,(Seriously, how many times does this make now?). According to federal data around 16.4 million ballots went missing during the 2016 and 2018 elections.Via Breitbart. www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/04/10/federal-data-16-4m-mail-in-ballots-went-missing-in-2016-2018-elections/About 16.4 million mail-in ballots went missing in the 2016 and 2018 elections, data provided to Breitbart News reveals.
The data from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission and the Election Administration and Voting Surveys for 2016 and 2018, provided by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), shows that between the 2016 and 2018 elections, roughly 16.4 million ballots mailed to registered voters went missing.
In the 2018 election, about 42.4 million ballots were mailed to registered voters. Of those mailed, more than one million were undeliverable, more than 430,000 were rejected, and nearly 10.5 million went missing.
The 2016 election showed similar discrepancies. That year, about 41.6 million ballots were mailed to registered voters. Of those mailed, more than 568,000 were undeliverable, nearly 320,000 were rejected, and close to six million went missing.
“Putting the election in the hands of the United States Postal Service would be a catastrophe. In 2018 and 2016, there were 16 million missing and misdirected ballots,” PILF President J. Christian Adams said in a statement.

dailycaller.com/2020/04/11/we-should-blame-china-bill-maher-coronavirus-origins/‘We Should Blame China’: Bill Maher Unloads On People Tip-Toeing Around Coronavirus Origins Comedian Bill Maher took aim Friday at the people crying “racism” over the use of terms like “Wuhan coronavirus” or “Chinese coronavirus.” “Can’t we even have a pandemic without getting offended?” Maher complained. (RELATED: Bill Maher On Avoiding Second Civil War: ‘We Are Going To Have To Learn To Live With Each Other Or There Will Be Blood’) Maher argued that scientists had been naming viruses — such as Ebola, Zika, West Nile and MERS — after their places of origin for decades, so there was no reason that China should get preferential treatment. The comedian then went on to mock Democratic California Rep. Ted Lieu for a tweet from early March claiming that referring to the coronavirus as Wuhan or Chinese was no less ridiculous than calling it the Milan Virus. No, that would be way stupider because the virus didn’t come from Milan,” Maher shot back. “And if it did, I guarantee we’d be calling it the Milan Virus. Can’t we even have a pandemic without getting offended? When they named Lyme disease after a town in Connecticut, the locals didn’t get all ticked off.”
Maher went on to say that what was truly scary to him was that there were people out there who “would rather die from the virus than call it by the wrong name.”
He noted the fact that the wet markets, which have been criticized by experts like Dr. Anthony Fauci and named as a possible source for coronavirus, were reopening in China despite warnings from as far back as 2013 that they could be a breeding ground for the next pandemic.
“It’s not racist to point out that eating bats is batshit crazy,” Maher continued, adding, “In 2007, researchers at the University of Hong Kong wrote, ‘The presence of a large reservoir of SARS-CoV-like viruses in horseshoe bats, together with the culture of eating exotic mammals in southern China, is a time bomb.'”Maher’s conclusion was simple — to those who worried that people might hear the phrase “Chinese virus” and blame China, he said only this: “The answer is we should blame China. Not Chinese Americans. But we can’t stop telling the truth because racists get the wrong idea … We can’t afford the luxury anymore of non-judginess towards a country with habits that kill millions of people.”

Flashback for Ali Mokdad of the IHME : Mokdad’s team purported to demonstrate that 400,000 deaths in the United States per year could be attributed to overweight and obesity, leading the CDC to begin a wide-ranging campaign to reduce obesity rates. However, Mokdad’s results were suspect. Mokdad’s team was forced to print a correction in a 2005 issue of JAMA acknowledging a computational error that overstated the number of deaths from overweight and obesity.” www.activistfacts.com/person/ali-mokdad/Ali Mokdad is an epidemiologist who authored a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) study in 2004 that received widespread criticism for its methodology, “Actual Causes of Death in the United States, 2000,” published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). Mokdad’s team purported to demonstrate that 400,000 deaths in the United States per year could be attributed to overweight and obesity, leading the CDC to begin a wide-ranging campaign to reduce obesity rates.
Mokdad’s results were suspect, however. Mokdad’s team was forced to print a correction in a 2005 issue of JAMA acknowledging a computational error that overstated the number of deaths from overweight and obesity.
Subsequent research in JAMA demonstrated that Mokdad’s methodology was suspect as well. A different CDC research team found that a mere 25,000 deaths could be attributed to overweight and obesity combined, since overweight status was in fact protective against early death.
The model that Mokdad and his team used was questioned before the study was published. CDC scientists who reviewed the study noted the following (all emphases added):
Methods used to calculate number of deaths due to obesity were incorrect and possibly miscalculated … The use of the improper formula is a rather serious mistake to make. At the time this study was being conducted, the scientific literature had several papers describing potential bias. Following Allison et al. in using an incorrect method was not justified. From the cross-clearance, it seems as if this bias from the wrong formula was pointed out to the authors.
The knowledge about inappropriate use of adjusted relative risks in certain attributable-fraction formulas was in the literature prior to the preparation of this manuscript and was apparently shared with the authors prior to publication.
My general conclusion is that the Mokdad et al. paper makes some bold statements, bolder than the original McGinnis and Foege paper, which might have been better off being presented as a policy exercise rather than a scientific study; the estimates seemed a combination of scientific calculation and expert opinion. Furthermore, the scientific reviewers of the paper who mentioned the problems were not taken as seriously as they could have been.

www.dailywire.com/news/where-are-the-house-democrats-not-going-back-to-work-anytime-soonWhere Are The House Democrats? Not Going Back To Work Anytime Soon. President Trump is working almost nonstop on the federal response to COVID-19, which has swept the United States, infecting more than half a million people and leaving nearly 19,000 dead. “I’m concerned about everything. I’m concerned about everything. That’s why I don’t sleep a lot. I get myself concerned about everything,” the president said Friday during his daily White House press briefing with members of the Coronavirus Task Force. But House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) doesn’t plan to call Democrats back to work any time soon. Pelosi said in a recent interview that the House of Representatives might not return later this month as scheduled, Politico reported. Asked if the House would reconvene on April 20, she said, “I certainly don’t think we should do it sooner than we should.” “Nobody can really tell you that and I would never venture a guess,” she said. “This has taken an acceleration from when we started this. … Little did we know then that at this point, we’d be further confined.” Even though Pelosi is not at work for Americans in her Capitol Hill office, she has found time to appear on nearly every talk show. “[T]he speaker has been a media tour de force of her own in recent weeks,” Politico reported. “Pelosi has appeared on cable news shows at least once a day, sometimes more, during this period. That’s in addition to multiple radio and print interviews she’s held as high-stakes negotiations with Republicans over a multitrillion dollar coronavirus rescue effort continue.” And the Speaker said she can’t be bothered to actually watch Trump’s daily briefings. “I don’t watch them. I sometimes see inadvertently or just by accident some of the news reporting on it,” Pelosi said. “But I just don’t have time for that. I am a busy person. I have a day job, and it’s not to watch the president contradict himself on TV.” Pelosi also said she hopes the economy stays shuttered for longer. “In a half-hour interview, Pelosi issued a stark warning to President Donald Trump, urging him not to prematurely reopen major segments of the country before the coronavirus is under control, which she said could further send the U.S. economy into a tailspin,” Politico reported. “I would hope that the scientific community would weigh in and say, ‘You can’t do this, it is only going to make matters worse if you go out too soon,’” Pelosi said when asked whether she was worried Trump, with an eye on a second term in the White House, would try to reopen the country too soon. Pelosi suggested there are numerous factors that would need to be assessed in making such decisions, including the possibility of secondary infections. “What is it? Is it testing so that we know what we’re dealing with? Is it some standard as to how someone else would be received into a workplace?” Pelosi said. “We have to know. It’s data. And that’s something that I haven’t seen as the basis for any decision-making. In fact, I’ve seen the opposite.”

www.breitbart.com/tech/2020/04/11/facebooks-fact-checkers-decline-to-correct-coronavirus-misinformation-from-verizon-owned-huffpost/Facebook’s Fact Checkers Decline to Correct Coronavirus Misinformation from Verizon-Owned HuffPost Were Facebook’s fact-checkers asleep at the wheel, or was it just politics as usual? Facebook’s nine official fact-checking partners, including such allegedly prestigious outlets as the Associated Press and Reuters, collectively failed to conduct a single fact check on an erroneous post from the Huffington Post, which repeated the misleading claim that President Donald Trump has a “stake” in a hydroxychloroquine drugmaker. As explained by Breitbart News Economics Editor John Carney, Trump’s family trust has a small investment in a mutual fund that owns shares of drugmaker Sanofi. How small of an investment? $1,485 at the maximum, but possibly as low as $99.10. The Huffington Post also falsely claimed that there is a “lack of medical evidence” supporting the use of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment against the coronavirus. In actuality, a series of physicians have publicly stated that they witnessed Chinese virus patients recover after taking the anti-malaria treatment. HuffPo’s post has been live on Facebook for more than two days and has had 2 million interactions despite containing these factual inaccuracies. So far, Facebook has failed to flag the post as erroneous or to demote it, thereby allowing the article to be cross-posted by Yahoo News and amplifying its reach. Breitbart News reached out to all nine of Facebook’s official fact-checking partners. As of Friday afternoon, only two had responded. A Politifact spokesperson replied: “Your email is the first question or notice we’ve received about the Huffington Post claim. We will consider it along with all the other requests we get.” Lead Stories, another official Facebook fact-checker, said that they would “immediately” look into the matter. Facebook gives its fact-checking partners the freedom to pick and choose user content that they review for accuracy. “All fact-checking organizations have the total editorial independence on their selections,” said Baybars Örsek, director of Poynter’s International Fact-Checking Network, which oversees Facebook’s network of fact-checkers, in a statement to Breitbart. Facebook will also queue up content for its partners to fact check, but they are not obligated to pull from the list. The social media giant didn’t respond to a request for comment. Facebook’s fact-checking program has faced criticism that it is unfairly weighted against conservative and right-of-center points of view. Of its nine U.S. fact-checking partners, only one is a conservative outlet — the Daily Caller’s Check Your Fact. In recent weeks, hydroxychloroquine has become a contentious political football after President Trump repeatedly expressed his optimism that it could be an effective treatment against the coronavirus. “We’re just hearing really positive stories, and we’re continuing to collect the data,” he said at a White House press conference. Among the mounting medical evidence (albeit not proof) is Michigan State Rep. Karen Whitsett, a Detroit Democrat, who had Wuhan coronavirus and said she recovered after taking hydroxychloroquine and an antibiotic. Other testimonies include doctors in Los Angeles, Hawaii, and Denver. The FDA recently issued an Emergency Use Authorization for the drug that will allow patients suffering from the Chinese virus to take advantage of the treatment. On Monday, the American Thoracic Society issued guidelines that suggest COVID-19 patients with pneumonia receive the anti-malaria drug. Some media outlets have sought to portray the president’s remarks as irresponsible, with The Washington Post accusing him of giving “false hope” and selling the public “snake oil.” The AP and Reuters — which are both official Facebook fact-checkers — have run stories casting doubt on the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine as a potential Wuhan coronavirus treatment. Their role as fact-checkers has raised conflict-of-interest concerns in the past because they are allowed to fact check articles from competing news organizations. In 2018, the AP ran a fact-check of a Breitbart News story, labeling it “false” when in fact the article truthfully reported on an illegal alien being appointed to a state office. As a result, Facebook directed users away from Breitbart and to a similar story from the AP. After Breitbart lodged a complaint, the AP rescinded its “false” label, but only after a few days. Neither the AP nor Reuters responded to Breitbart News’ requests for comment.

So, growing crops is not essential? dailycaller.com/2020/04/11/gretchen-whitmer-gardening-seeds-non-essential/Michigan Governor Deems Gardening Supplies — Including Fruit And Vegetable Seeds — ‘Non-Essential’ Michigan Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s latest executive order deems a number of home-improvement and gardening items — including fruit and vegetable seeds — “non-essential.” In addition to enforcing social distancing measures and limiting the number of people in the stores that were allowed to remain open — in order to slow the spread of coronavirus — Whitmer’s April 9 order also gave explicit instructions with regard to items that could not be sold as they were considered “non-essential.” Close areas of the store—by cordoning them off, placing signs in aisles, posting prominent signs, removing goods from shelves, or other appropriate means—that are dedicated to the following classes of goods: Carpet or flooring. Furniture. Garden centers and plant nurseries. Paint. The restriction on gardening supplies struck a nerve, which came just as the weather was beginning to warm to the proper temperatures for most early planting. dailycaller.com/2020/04/11/judge-blocks-louisville-kentucky-drive-in-easter-record-license-plates/‘Stunning’ And ‘Unconstitutional’: Judge Grants Restraining Order After KY Mayor Vowed To Record License Plates Of Easter Church Goers A federal judge has granted a restraining order against Louisville, Kentucky Major Greg Fischer. Fischer promised to record the license plates of Easter church goers. “The Mayor’s decision is stunning,” Judge Justin Walker said, “And it is,’beyond all reason,’ unconstitutional.”A federal judge granted a restraining order against a Kentucky mayor who promised to record the license plates of Easter church goers, calling the order “unconstitutional.” U.S. District Court Judge Justin Walker granted the temporary restraining order (TRO) preventing Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer from blocking Easter drive-in-services at On Fire Church, the non-profit public interest law firm First Liberty Institute announced in a Saturday press release. According to First Liberty, the Louisville church had been hosting drive-in-church services for several weeks consistent with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) coronavirus guidelines. The order prevents Louisville from “enforcing; attempting to enforce; threatening to enforce; or otherwise requiring compliance with any prohibition on drive-in church services at On Fire,” court documents show. The judge condemned Fischer’s order in a memorandum opinion that compared the order to a report from the satirical publication, “The Onion.” (RELATED: Kentucky To Enforce Quarantine Orders By Recording License Plates Of Churchgoers) “That sentence is one that this Court never expected to see outside the pages of a dystopian novel, or perhaps the pages of The Onion,” Walker said. “But two days ago, citing the need for social distancing during the current pandemic, Louisville’s Mayor Greg Fischer ordered Christians not to attend Sunday services, even if they remained in their carsto worship –and even though it’s Easter.” “The Mayor’s decision is stunning,” the opinion concludes. “And it is,’beyond all reason,’ unconstitutional.” Democratic Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear had announced that the state would enforce stay-at-home measure by recording the license plates of any person attending Easter services. “This is a time and weekend, a whole week for multiple faiths, that is about faith. It’s about knowing we have faced as people – as Christians, as Jews, as members of many faiths – many difficult, dark times, and we have prevailed,” Beshear said Friday. “We know that the weeks or the months ahead will be difficult. We know that there are going to be tougher days before there are easier days.” “This is the only way we can ensure that your decision doesn’t kill someone else,” Beshear added. First Liberty senior counsel Roger Byron said in a statement provided to the Daily Caller News Foundation that the judge recognized that Fischer’s prohibition of drive-in church services on Easter “violated the church’s religious freedom.” “The church will conduct the Easter drive-in service tomorrow with grateful hearts and in full compliance with the CDC’s guidelines,” Byron added. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had urged Fischer to allow religious gatherings that comply with CDC guidelines, Kentucky Today reported Friday. The publication obtained a letter in which McConnell told Fischer that it is “important that we continue to respect and protect the constitutional rights of our citizens.” McConnell asks Louisville mayor to allow drive-in church services | Kentucky Today t.co/BbPEUMzp50— Senator McConnell Press (@mcconnellpress) April 11, 2020 “When the government permits people in vehicles to gather in parking lots for secular purposes but prohibits them from doing so for religious purposes, it raises the specter that the government is singling religious people out for disfavored treatment,” McConnell wrote, according to Kentucky Today. “I believe churches should be following CDC guidelines on mitigating the transmission of COVID-19 and support temporary government regulations consistent with that guideline,” he added. “Religious organizations share the national responsibility to right the disease’s spread.”

www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/04/11/va-governor-signs-universal-background-checks-gun-rationing-bill/Governor Ralph Northam (D) signed legislation Saturday creating universal background checks in Virginia and limiting law-abiding Virginians to one handgun purchase per month. Northam’s office announced his signature on Senate Bill 70 / House Bill 2, creating the universal checks and thereby outlawing private gun sales. He signed Senate Bill 69 / House Bill 812 resurrecting Virginia’s “one-handgun-a-month rule to help curtail stockpiling of firearms and trafficking.” Northam used a tweet to refer to these gun controls as “commonsense gun safety measures,” but he did not mention that they would not have prevented the May 31, 2019 Virginia Beach shooting that he used as an impetus for gun control. He also signed other controls into law, including requirements that gun owners report stolen firearms within 48 hours of the theft or face “civil penalty.” This puts the onus for a gun theft on the gun owner, rather than the individual who stole the firearm. Democrats won control of Virginia’s legislature in November 2019 and, just days after their victory, Northam made clear there would be a war on guns. That war originally included all-out bans on certain categories of firearms, on ammunition magazines holding more than ten rounds, and on firearm suppressors. However, Democrats reformulated their push after facing widespread public backlash over their gun control agenda. Well over 100 local governments in Virginia declared Second Amendment Sanctuary status in response to the gun control push, and some law enforcement officials were vocal in their opposition to new controls as well.

I've heard several smart people say that the virus may have been bouncing around California for maybe even a few months before it became known what was going on. There was most likely a couple of months of unrestricted travel back and forth. Their lockdown was only a couple of days before NYC.

A study released this week in Germany last week found the mortality rate of the coronavirus factoring in the asymptomatic cases is much lower than is being reported. The German study found that around 15% of the population in the Gangelt had the coronavirus antibodies and were infected at some point without knowing it. Using this data the researchers concluded that the coronavirus mortality rate was 0.37%. A second study in Iceland found that half of those tested had had the coronavirus and that only 7 in 1600 known COVID-19 cases ended in death. This is good news. It shows the coronavirus is only slightly more deadly than a seasonal flu. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8210401/Iceland-finds-half-population-asymptomatic-infected-Covid-19.htmlSo, can we get to reopening our economy now?

NIH Director Dr. Anthony Fauci went on CNN on Easter Sunday and suggested that President Trump should have shut down the country in February! Dr. Fauci later went on with Al Sharpton on MSNBC and and told Al Sharpton that he warned President Trump that “we were in real trouble” from the coronavirus. It is clear at this point that Dr. Anthony Fauci has a problem with the truth. Here is a list of several contradictory statements by the good doctor. 1.) Dr. Fauci says he warned Trump in January that the US was in real trouble but that is not what he said publicly. In January Dr. Anthony Fauci told Newsmax TV that the United States “did not have to worry” about the coronavirus and that it was “not a major threat.” 2.) Dr. Fauci warned of an apocalyptic coronavirus pandemic — then just weeks later he later compared the coronavirus to a bad flu. www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/03/wow-dr-fauci-in-new-england-journal-of-medicine-concedes-the-coronavirus-mortality-rate-may-be-much-closer-to-a-very-bad-flu/3.) Dr. Fauci based all of his predictions on garbage IHME models that were OFF BY MILLIONS and then told reporters this past week, “You can’t really rely on models.” www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/04/wow-dr-fauci-now-says-cant-really-rely-upon-models-wth/4.) On March 20th Dr. Fauci jumped in and “corrected” the president during a press briefing on hydroxychloroquine treatment for coronavirus saying, “You got to be careful when you say ‘fairly effective.’ It was never done in a clinical trial… It was given to individuals and felt that maybe it worked.” Exactly two weeks later hydroxychloroquine was deemed the most highly rated treatment for the novel coronavirus in an international poll of more than 6,000 doctors. 5.) Dr. Fauci pushed these garbage models every step of the way. Three weeks ago Dr. Fauci claimed 1 million to 2 million Americans would die from coronavirus. Then he said 100,000 to 200,000 Americans will die from the virus. Then last week he agreed 81,766 Americans would die from the coronavirus. Then by Wednesday the experts cut the number of deaths to 60,415 projected deaths. 6.) On Sunday Dr. Fauci said President Trump should have shut down the economy in February. www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/04/easter-surprise-disgusting-dr-fauci-unloads-trump-lives-saved-video/The president was a bit pre-occupied in February with the Democrat impeachment sham. That’s not what Dr. Fauci said ON FEBRUARY 29th!! But in late February Fauci told the TODAY Show on February 29 that you don’t need to “change anything you’re doing.”: Back on March 9 Dr. Fauci told Americans cruises were OK. www.forbes.com/sites/douggollan/2020/03/09/fauci-says-cruising-is-ok-if-you-are-healthy/#6635d6082d4dAnd back in February Fauci said malls, gyms and movie theaters were OK. www.breitbart.com/the-media/2020/04/13/nolte-fauci-said-going-to-malls-movie-theaters-gym-okay-on-feb-29/So, the "expert" has been wrong at almost every turn on this thing, but he wishes to blame President Trump for his failures? Time to send him home & to begin reopening our economy.

dailycaller.com/2020/04/13/chinese-restrictions-coronavirus-origins/Chinese Government Imposes Restrictions On Research Into Coronavirus Origins A Chinese government directive mistakenly released to the public on Friday ordered that studies relating to the origin of the coronavirus outbreak “must be strictly and tightly managed.” The directive was pulled from the public web hours after it was spotted by CNN on Friday. Republican Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana said Monday the Chinese government’s directive violates the 2005 International Health Regulations.
Academic studies from Chinese researchers on the origins of the coronavirus pandemic are subject to strict vetting from the Chinese central government, according to a directive mistakenly released to the public on Friday. “ cademic papers about tracing the origin of the virus must be strictly and tightly managed,” stated the directive issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education’s science and technology department.
The directive was removed from the internet hours after CNN first spotted the document on Friday.
“It is not supposed to be made public — it is an internal document,” an unnamed staffer at the Education Ministry told CNN after confirming it had issued the directive.
Republican Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana said Monday the Chinese government’s directive violates the 2005 International Health Regulations, which he said “require transparent medical data sharing between & within countries.”
A spokesman for Banks told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the tweet was referring to Articles 6 and 10 of the 2005 International Health Regulations, which require World Health Organization member nations to report the “source and type of risk” of any public health emergency of international concern happening within its territory in a timely manner.
Banks issued a statement Wednesday calling on Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Attorney General William Barr on to bring a criminal case against China for its handling of the coronavirus outbreak to the United Nations International Court of Justice.
The Chinese government’s directive requires multiple rounds of vetting for any research related to the origins of coronavirus. Researchers delving into the topic need to have their papers approved by their university’s academic committee, then the Education Ministry’s science and technology department, and then finally by a task force under the direction of the Chinese State Council, according to CNN.
One Chinese researcher who spoke with CNN under the condition of anonymity said the restrictions could result in the suppression of any information deemed contradictory to Beijing’s official narrative on the virus.
I think the importance is that the international scientific community must realize that any journal or manuscripts from (a) Chinese research institution has kind of been double-checked by the government,” the researcher told CNN. “It is important for them to know there are extra steps between independent scientific research and final publication.”
The directive came after two Chinese researchers submitted a paper to Research Gate in early February reporting their belief that the “killer coronavirus probably originated from a laboratory in Wuhan.” (RELATED: Coronavirus Expert Says Virus Could Have Leaked From Wuhan Lab)
The paper was removed from Research Gate on Feb. 14 or 15, according to internet archives. The paper’s lead researcher, Botao Xiao, told The Wall Street Journal that he withdrew his paper because it “was not supported by direct proofs.”
Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri tweeted Monday that the Chinese directive was proof that its government was “trying to suppress the truth about the origins of this disease in Wuhan.”
The World Health Organization did not immediately return a request for comment.

www.dailywire.com/news/watch-who-official-we-dont-believe-china-withheld-information-on-coronavirusWATCH: WHO Official: ‘We Don’t Believe’ China Withheld Information On Coronavirus On Sunday, David Nabarro, special envoy from the World Health Organization (WHO), insisted, “We don’t believe” that China withheld information regarding the coronavirus. Nabarro, who also serves as Senior UN System Coordinator for Avian and Pandemic Influenza, told “Meet The Press” host Chuck Todd, “We are trying to be clear to everybody that we have been given access to the information we requested. So therefore I don’t like at any time to say, ‘We don’t believe.’” Nabarro also said, “We need a strong WHO, a trusted WHO.” Todd prompted Nabarro by saying, “Let me ask you this: The American president, Donald Trump, our president here, does not believe the WHO has acted on the up and up, in particular when it comes to interpreting data or dealing with China. Address that critique.” Nabarro replied: The World Health Organization actually works on behalf of all the governments in the world. It operates within mandates that are given to it and we have to rely on information that’s received from different governments; that then permits us to work out what’s going on. We believe that we had the best information coming to us that can come under the current circumstances and that all recommendations and decisions have been made on behalf of that, but we know there will be many things that are found to, perhaps, not been done as well as they could have been done, and we’re anticipating there’ll be lots of examinations afterwards. He continued, “Now we have to move forward; we have to get the best possible cooperation. I just heard you discussing with the head of the FDA, the challenges, the things that we’re learning about this virus all the time. That’s why we need a strong WHO, a trusted WHO. We hope that all leaders will continue to work with us in that way.” Todd asked, “You used an interesting phrase here: ‘The best information you can get under current circumstances.’ That seems to be a hint that certain governments are more transparent than other governments. Do you believe China’s been honest about the damage that’s been done in this country, number one, and number two, if they haven’t been honest about that, are you confident they’ve been honest about the science?” Nabarro answered, “So at first, we really did have to work with the information we get. We don’t have in the World Health Organization the power to go and inspect beyond what countries tell us. That’s been made clear in the treaty that governments agreed in 2005 on how nations work together and how the W.H.O. operates. But I say this, that they did invite a team pulled together by the World Health Organization to come and inspect everything in mid-February. There were no restrictions on what that team investigated. It included American experts as well as experts from others in the world. So we are trying to be clear to everybody that we have been given access to the information we requested. So therefore I don’t like at any time to say, ‘We don’t believe.’ We believe what we’ve got; we work with what we’ve got; that’s how we operate in the World Health Organization.” In mid-February, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) told Fox News that China’s communist government had repeatedly lied about the coronavirus, asserting, “the situation is very grave, in part because, as you say, China was lying from the beginning, and they’re still lying today, and also because there are so many unknowns about this virus, for example, how many people one person can infect once they have the virus, the extent to which it’s contagious before one is symptomatic, or the mortality rate.” Video below:

KKK-Blackface Governor Ralph Northam (D) on Monday signed sweeping legislation repealing voter ID laws and expanded early voting programs.
“Voting is a fundamental right, and these new laws strengthen our democracy by making it easier to cast a ballot, not harder,” said Governor Northam in a statement. “No matter who you are or where you live in Virginia, your voice deserves to be heard. I’m proud to sign these bills into law.”
Northam signed legislation allowing early voting 45 days prior to an election without even stating an excuse.

Voters used to have to provide a reason for absentee voting from an approved list why they were unable to vote on Election Day.
House Bill 19 and Senate Bill 65, remove the requirement that voters show a photo ID prior to casting a ballot.

“Voter ID laws disenfranchise individuals who may not have access to photo identification, and disproportionately impact low-income individuals, racial and ethnic minorities, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities,” the legislation sponsored by Delegate Joe Lindsey and Senator Mamie Locke read.
Northam also declared Election Day a holiday and he had to repeal another existing holiday in order to maintain the same number of state holidays.
Which holiday did Northam repeal?
Lee-Jackson Day holiday which was established over 100 years ago to honor Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson.
Northam also signed another bill on Monday that automatically registers voters at the DMV.

States have found that hundreds of illegal voters stemming from “Motor Voter Laws” went on to cast ballots which is why Democrats push for these laws.
Early voting, no voter ID, motor voter laws and no excuse as to why a voter is using an absentee ballot only increases the chances of voter fraud.
