On Thursday night CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield joined CNN where he was asked if he would administer life-saving hydroxychloroquine treatment on coronavirus victims. Dr. Redfield downplayed the drug – despite the hundreds of lives saved by the drug!
Dr. Robert Redfield: Yeah, I’m not going to recommend it and I’m not going to not recommend it. I think that you and I are very similar. We’re probably similar to my friend, Dr. Fauci. We-we-we we’re very comfortable to responding when we have data.
Dr. Stephen Smith, who has saved dozens of lives with the hydroxychloroquine treatment responded.
“I met Bob Redfield. He’s a nice guy. He’s a Beltway guy. Right? This is Beltway fights and stuff and I’m not about that. He hasn’t treated anybody with COVID. My team and I have treated over 115 patients. This drug works… It’s not a Democrat or Republican thing.”
Dr. Smith has successfully treated over 100 COVID-19 patients with a hydroxychloroquine combination.

Law enforcement officials say that a violent felon who had been released from Rikers Island due to the coronavirus outbreak in the prison has been arrested again for allegedly robbing a bank. Click to find out more about a new promotion Don’t miss this content from our sponsor James Little “was cut loose from the jail because of the coronavirus outbreak on March 28 after being locked up for strangulation earlier in the month,” The New York Post reported, according to police sources. “About a week later on the morning of April 7, Little allegedly tried to rob an Apple Bank on Irving Place in Gramarcy Park.” The New York Daily News noted that Little was “on parole for a 1995 murder” and that the alleged strangulation stemmed from “charges of assaulting his girlfriend.” The Daily News said that Little was arrested on March 3 over the alleged incident inside his girlfriend’s home in Brooklyn. The Post said that Little wore gloves and a face mask when he allegedly tried to rob the bank by passing a note to the teller that told her to give him money. Authorities arrested Little the following day after his alleged failed robbery attempt. “Investigators believe he knocked over two Midtown banks on Jan. 23 and Dec. 26, leaving with $1,000 in each robbery,” The Post added. “Little served more than 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to a murder committed in Coney Island when he was 15 years old.” House Democrats on the Judiciary Committee sent a letter to Attorney General William Barr at the end of March demanding that he try to “release as many prisoners as possible” over the coronavirus. Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and subcommittee chairwoman Karen Bass (D-CA) urged Barr to consider releasing prisoners regardless of the severity of offense they had committted. “We call on you, in the most urgent of terms, to do the right thing and exercise [authority to modify sentences of prisoners who present ‘extraordinary and compelling reasons’] and immediately move to release medically-compromised, elderly, and pregnant prisoners in the custody of the [Bureau of Prisons],” the two Democrats wrote. “In addition, we urge that you use every tool at your disposal to release as many prisoners as possible, to protect them from COVID-19.” The two Democrats indicated that they had a problem with a memo that Barr wrote that stated that inmates at low and minimum security facilities should be be given priority for consideration to be released from prison [emphasis added]: Your memorandum specifies that priority should be given to inmates in low- and minimum-security facilities and that “serious” offenses should weigh more heavily against consideration for home detention. These limitations, unfortunately, beg the question of what you do with individuals who are at a high risk for contracting COVID-19 who are not in low- or minimum-security facilities, who have been convicted of serious offenses, or who have high PATTERN risk scores. We urge you to consider that even individuals in these categories should be assessed for release because they may be elderly or particularly vulnerable. Pregnant prisoners, in all circumstances, should be released to home confinement forthwith. We further urge you to assess the risk of contracting COVID-19 of every individual in BOP custody, regardless of the type of institution in which they are housed, the seriousness of their offense, or the potential recidivism risk they may present. If BOP decides to keep these individuals detained, what specific provisions are being made for those among them who are at high risk for contracting COVID-19? What plans are being made to communicate information to these individuals, their attorneys, and their loved ones, about the plan for their care behind bars during the COVID-19 pandemic? This report has been updated to include additional information.

I wonder if the Global warming models are as accurate as the pandemic models ? Food for thought The Pope mentioned how Coronovirus might be nature's way of addressing "Climate Change" : thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/491734-pope-says-coronavirus-outbreak-may-be-one-of-natures-responses-toPope says coronavirus outbreak may be one of 'nature's responses' to climate change Pope Francis suggested that the outbreak of the novel coronavirus may be one of "nature's responses" to people around the world ignoring the harsh consequences of climate change. "There is an expression in Spanish: 'God always forgives, we forgive sometimes, but nature never forgives,'" the Pope said in an interview with The Tablet, a Catholic weekly produced in the United Kingdom, that was published on Wednesday. Asked about whether he thought the coronavirus pandemic was an opportunity for an ecological conversion and a reassessment of priorities and lifestyles, the pope stressed that society has not responded to "partial catastrophes" stemming from the climate crisis. "Who now speaks of the fires in Australia, or remembers that 18 months ago a boat could cross the North Pole because the glaciers had all melted?" he asked. "Who speaks now of the floods? I don’t know if these are the revenge of nature, but they are certainly nature’s responses." The novel coronavirus, which first appeared in Wuhan, China, in December, has spread to dozens of countries and infected more than 1 million people, according to a Johns Hopkins University database. The Vatican closed Saint Peter's Square and Basilica to the public in early March as the outbreak's effects became more pronounced throughout Italy. The Vatican has reported seven confirmed cases of the virus in its ranks. The pope, 83, said in the interview with The Tablet that the "Curia is trying to carry on its work, and to live normally," using shifts to avoid crowding. He added that he prays more and goes to confession each week to ask forgiveness for his selfishness. The pope also addressed world leaders' response to the crisis and the spotlight the economy has gained. He denounced "the hypocrisy of certain political personalities who speak of facing up to the crisis, of the problem of hunger in the world, but who in the meantime manufacture weapons." He also emphasized that every crisis presented both opportunity and danger, the opportunity being "an economy that is less liquid, more human." "I believe we have to slow down our rate of production and consumption and to learn to understand and contemplate the natural world," he said. "We need to reconnect with our real surroundings. This is the opportunity for conversion." Pope Francis regularly uses his platform to warn of the dangers of climate change. In September, he called on governments to take “drastic” action to combat the problem, saying that the emergency "gravely threatens nature and life itself, including our own."

New Jersey Congressman Tom Malinowski on Thursday fantasized about withholding disinfectants from Kentuckians in order to strong arm Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on the Coronavirus bill.
Malinowski is your typical Democrat thug.
The Coronavirus pandemic is sweeping across the US and the CDC is instructing Americans to be extra vigilant by cleaning and disinfecting their hands and homes in order to reduce the risk of getting infected by COVID-19, but Democrat Malinowski is fantasizing about sticking it to Kentuckians.
The National Republican Congressional Committee blasted Democrat Malinowski.
TRENDING: BARR: "No Basis" For FBI's Crossfire Hurricane Investigation... More Concerning is a 'Whole Pattern of Events to Sabotage the Presidency' (VIDEO)
“While Americans are putting their political differences aside to work together, @malinowski admitted he’s fantasized about withholding Coronavirus-killing disinfectants from Kentuckians to stick it to Mitch McConnell,” the NRCC said.
“Fun fact about Somerset County, uh, we make 100% of the national supply of Lysol disinfectant,” Malinowski said on a video conference call. “I thought about using that with, like, Mitch McConnell — like hey, you know, we’re gonna hold up the Lysol to Kentucky until you pass our…bill,” Malinowski said.
Many people on the conference call gave a ‘thumbs up’ in support of Malinowski’s disgusting fantasy.
“But you know that’s a fantasy that I don’t think… it’s not going to work that way,” he said.

www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2020/04/09/michael-moore-white-men-have-a-big-responsibility-to-make-amends-for-the-trump-era/Documentary filmmaker and far-left activist Michael Moore is blaming white men for the rise of President Donald Trump, saying in his podcast that white males must to “make amends” for the current administration. The Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine director devoted a significant amount of time near the end of his podcast Rumble with Michael Moore to railing against conservative white men. “Men — especially white men have a big responsibility to make amends for the Trump era,” Moore said on Thursday. “Those amends will happen. People will see the error of their ways.” It’s worth noting that, in the 2016 election, Trump won 52 percent of white women votes and 52 percent of the male vote overall. Moore also said the days of white men being the dominant demographic in the U.S. are numbered. “They will be the minority. They’re already the minority.” Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign has come to an end. I invite you to listen to my RUMBLE podcast today as I show you the future Bernie has created for us, thanks to the movement he has ignited. No one is interested in going back to “normal.” Apple: t.co/fqWRFXxpVn— Michael Moore (@mmflint) April 9, 2020 The Oscar-winning filmmaker touched on abortion during his meandering podcast, threatening certain members of the U.S. Supreme Court with removal. “It will have taken years to get some of these people off the Supreme Court. Some may need to be impeached,” he said. Moore also spent Thursday’s episode mourning the demise of the Bernie Sanders campaign, doling out harsh words for Democrats who engaged in verbal smears against the socialist candidate. “Shame on all of you who would say those things about this individual,” Moore said. But he also offered words of encouragement to those who supported the failed candidate: “Don’t despair about this. Bernie has laid the groundwork for this movement, for a better life, a better country, a better planet.”

www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/04/10/who-seeks-1-billion-funding-boost-from-international-governments/WHO Seeks $1 Billion Funding Boost from International Governments The World Health Organisation (WHO) announced Thursday it is ready to launch an appeal for more than $US1 billion to underwrite operations against the Chinese coronavirus pandemic. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus believes the pandemic needs a whole-of government and society response, and to that end is seeking a new funding lifeline outside its existing United Nations funding stream. It follows a similar WHO call in February which sought $675 million in “special, one-off funding” to deliver two months worth of direct aid to China and international agencies. Now it is back again and asking for more. “For the past 100 days, our unwavering commitment has been to serve all people of the world with equity, objectivity and neutrality. That will continue to be our sole focus in the days, weeks and months ahead,” Dr Tedros said. The appeal and strategy plan will commence in coming days, Reuters reports. The WHO financial plea comes against a backdrop of controversy after U.S. President Donald Trump criticised the organisation over its handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and suggested his administration might re-evaluate U.S. funding. Trump accused WHO of being “China-centric” and criticised its many missteps, nothing it responded to the virus very slowly and appeared deferential to China’s wishes in all its dealings, as Breitbart News reported. The United States remains the biggest single overall donor to the globalist body, contributing more than $400 million in 2019 to the agency, roughly 15 percent of its budget. In comparison, China’s contribution was about $44 million. The WHO appeal for funding came within 24-hours of Consumer Choice Center, a global consumer advocacy group, launching its own campaign to defund it. “President Trump’s decision speaks to the larger inefficiencies and issues of transparency and accountability that have plagued the World Health Organization in recent years,” Yaël Ossowski, deputy director at the Consumer Choice Center, said in a statement he distributed to the press. “While the failures of the WHO have only recently gotten publicity, this has been a long time coming,” Ossowski said.

That would actually be a good thing for Europe then: www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/04/10/italian-pm-warns-european-union-could-collapse-over-coronavirus/Italian PM Warns European Union Could Collapse Over Coronavirus Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte floated the idea of all of Europe doing “things on their own” due to the European Union’s poor response to Italy’s tragic experience with the Chinese coronavirus. “We do not expect Germany and Holland to pay our debts, but the fiscal policy rules must be loosened, otherwise we will have to write off Europe, and everyone will do things on their own,” said Italian prime minister Giuseppe Conte in a recent interview with the German newspaper, Bild on Eurobonds, according to a report by La Repubblica. Conte is calling on the EU to rise to the challenge in helping countries that have been worst hit by the Wuhan virus by issuing Eurobonds, or “coronabonds,” so that all EU nations can assist in paying off coronavirus-related debt. The Italian prime minister warned the EU that it is also in their interest to do so. “It is in mutual interest that Europe is up to the challenge, otherwise we must absolutely abandon the European dream, and say that everyone should fend for themselves,” said Conte. “[Italy] will employ triple, quadruple, quintuple of the resources to get out of this crisis, and there is no guarantee that we will do it in the best, most effective and timely way,” he added. Conte argues that since Italians are European citizens, they deserve an appropriate response from Europe, or else Italy will be forced to restart with its own resources, and its national response is likely to jeopardize “the European dream.” “Nobody has an advantage if Europe cannot set up a concrete and solid reaction,” said Conte. “This is not about Italy. We have never experienced an emergency situation of this type.” “They are European citizens who expect a European solution,” he said of Italians. Recent polling reveals that overall confidence in European institutions has collapsed. Trust in the EU has fallen from 42 percent last September to 27 percent now. Trust in the EU Commission has dropped from 41 percent to 24 percent, and trust in the European Central Bank from 43 percent to 25 percent. In a recent interview with BBC, Conte told reporters that European leaders are “facing an appointment with history” that they cannot miss. “If we do not seize the opportunity to put new life into the European project, the risk of failure is real,” said the Italian prime minister of the EU. Conte also compared Italy’s experience with the virus to “coping with the situation in the dark.” The report added that latest forecasts suggest the Chinese virus will lead Italy’s economy to contract by more than 11 percent, and national debt to rise to unsustainable levels. The prime minister referred to the situation as an “economic and social emergency” that is testing the financial structure of every country. As of Thursday, a total of 18,279 people have died in Italy from the Wuhan coronavirus. “I feel the pain of the gaping wound that this nation is experiencing,” said Conte. “Behind the numbers are names and surnames, life stories, and broken families. The Italian nation is suffering.”

Very few Americans are dying to date from the coronavirus who had no pre-existing conditions. Based on the most recent data, this number will shock you,(and will not be reported by the MSM). As of this morning, April 10, 2020, there are now 16,697 Americans who have died who had the coronavirus and more than 96,000 world-wide. www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/But this data is misleading because the most recent data shows that only .9% of deaths related to the coronavirus are related to individuals with no comorbidity (i.e. pre-existing conditions):Therefore based on this data, only 150 Americans have died from the coronavirus who had no pre-existing conditions out of 16,697.In addition, of the top 29 countries in the world based on number of coronavirus cases confirmed, eight of these countries have opened their countries up economically in some part or in full. (See countries highlighted above in yellow: China, Brazil, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark Czechia and Japan.) The death rate per case identified for these countries is 4.1% which is less than the overall world average of 6% but the US death rate is slightly lower than both at 3.6%.
So …. the US has shut down its entire economy because of the coronavirus based on 17,000 deaths (which is less than this year’s deaths related to the flu) and only 150 deaths where individuals had no other pre-existing conditions? Hmmm…
So why are we committing economic suicide again?

Curious to see who gave the President such faulty advice, we need to know their names.
President Trump: The big projection being that 2.2 million people would die if we did nothing. That was another decision we made, close it up. That was a big decision that we made. Two very smart people walked into my office and said listen these are your alternatives. And that was a projection of 1.5 to 2.2 million people would die if we didn’t close it up. That’s a lot of people.

Hmmm, China has to lockdown another city, this one close to Russia..... www.dailywire.com/news/china-has-to-lockdown-another-city-build-emergency-hospital-after-failure-to-stop-virusChina Has To Lockdown Another City, Build Emergency Hospital After Failure To Stop Virus Communist China reportedly had to lock down another city yesterday and build a makeshift hospital to deal with another coronavirus outbreak in its country after failing to contain the original outbreak, which originated in Wuhan last year. “China is opening a new field hospital in the city of Suifenhe, home to about 70,000 people, which was placed under lockdown yesterday morning,” CNN reported, citing the Chinese state-run media. “The city, in China’s far northeast, lies right by the Russian border — and it has seen a recent spike in” coronavirus cases. “This comes after the lockdown was announced yesterday,” CNN added. “All residents are confined to their homes, and only one person per household will be allowed outside to buy groceries and supplies every three days.” The news comes after China has tried to claim that it has managed to gain control of the coronavirus outbreak, which originated in its country and became a global pandemic after China lied about it and tried to cover it up. Many analysts and political figures believe the number of confirmed cases and deaths that China has chosen to report to the world are much lower than the real numbers. China had to institute another mass quarantine in a different part of the country last week after another outbreak popped up to the west of Shanghai. “Henan province in central China has taken the drastic measure of putting a mid-sized county in total lockdown as authorities try to fend off a second coronavirus wave in the midst of a push to revive the economy,” Politico reported. “Curfew-like measures came into effect on Tuesday in Jia county, near the city of Pingdingshan, with the area’s roughly 600,000 residents told to stay home, according to a notice on the country’s official microblog account.” Asia analyst Gordon Chang said during a recent interview that there was another indicator that China was dealing with another major outbreak in the big cities. “What’s really of concern, though, is that this is probably jumped to other cities, especially those on the east, so for instance, Shanghai, Beijing, are probably experiencing a substantial number of cases that China’s not talking about,” Chang said. “And the reason why we can suspect that is because in Shanghai, many of the tourist attractions have indeed been shut down in the last three or four days, after being reopened just a week before. So that’s a real indication that there’s a problem in the big cities.” Forbes had reported at the end of March that the Chinese government shutdown tourist attractions in Shanghai to prevent the spread of the coronavirus after they had been reopened earlier in the month. U.S. intelligence officials have confirmed to President Donald Trump that China lied about the extent of the outbreak in their country and scientific advisers have informed British Prime Minister Boris Johnson of the same thing.

Even Iran is hitting China now..... www.dailywire.com/news/iran-hits-at-ally-china-chinas-coronavirus-numbers-a-bitter-joke-not-trustworthyIran Hits At Ally China: China’s Coronavirus Numbers A ‘Bitter Joke,’ Not Trustworthy Three high-ranking officials from the Islamic Republic of Iran have taken shots at communist China, one of Iran’s few allies, saying that the numbers of coronavirus cases and deaths that China has reported are a “bitter joke” and are “not trustworthy.” Health Ministry Spokesman Dr. Kianoush Jahanpur slammed China on Sunday, saying that the numbers that they reported should not be trusted. “It seems statistics from China was a bitter joke, because many in the world thought this is just like influenza, with fewer deaths,” Jahanpur said. “This [impression] were based on reports from China and now it seems China made a bitter joke with the rest of the world.” Jahanpur continued, “If in China they say an epidemic was controlled in two months, one should really think about it.” Radio Farda reported that Dr. Minoo Mohraz, Head of the Iranian Center for HIV/AIDS, joined Jahanpur in striking out at China on Monday. “Either the virus has mutated and become deadlier, or they were slacking in providing the data,” Mohraz said. “The disease has proved to be frighteningly more infectious and deadly than they reported.” “Our experience about their scientific research has taught us not to rely on their statistics,” Mohraz continued. “They provide the numbers and no one can go to China and report what they see [on the ground] directly.” Radio Farda noted that another member of Iran’s coronavirus task force, epidemiologist Dr. Hamid Souri, also took a shot at China’s reported numbers. “The evidence shows us that what happened is worse than what the Chinese reported,” Souri said. “We could not make any judgements at first because our country had no experience [with coronavirus] to compare the results.” “Wrong data leads to wrong results and incorrect policies which in turn lead to in an increase in the number of victims,” Souri continued. “Italy is now experiencing a slowing trend [in infections and deaths] but we have unfortunately not got there yet.” Skepticism has existed about the accuracy and honesty behind the numbers that communist China has reported on its coronavirus outbreak since it lied about the outbreak initially and tried to cover it up. The U.S. Intelligence Community confirmed to President Donald Trump last week that they know that China is lying about its numbers. “China’s public reporting on cases and deaths is intentionally incomplete,” Bloomberg News reported, citing three U.S. officials. “Two of the officials said the report concludes that China’s numbers are fake.” An analysis from The Washington Post last week estimated that the number of deaths in Wuhan, the Chinese city where the outbreak originated, is more than 16 times higher than what China reported. “The coronavirus pandemic ravaging the globe officially claimed 2,563 lives in Wuhan, where it began in a market that sold exotic animals for consumption,” The Post reported. “But evidence emerging from the city as it stirs from its two-month hibernation suggests the real death toll is exponentially higher.” “Using photos posted online, social media sleuths have estimated that Wuhan funeral homes had returned 3,500 urns a day since March 23,” The Post continued. “That would imply a death toll in Wuhan of about 42,000 — or 16 times the official number. Another widely shared calculation, based on Wuhan’s 84 furnaces running nonstop and each cremation taking an hour, put the death toll at 46,800.”

That is one of the major changes in Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s “stay home” order, issued Thursday, which also extends the expiration of the order to May 1.
Until now, travel between two Michigan residences has been permitted.
Beginning Saturday morning, that will end, except for purposes such as caring for a relative or pet or complying with a court order related to child custody.
“All public and private gatherings of any size are prohibited,” Whitmer said at a news conference. “People can still leave the house for outdoor activities, Recreational activities are still permitted as long as they’re taking place outside of six feet from anyone else.”

And more proof that the President needs to go ahead and tell his "experts' to shove off and to open up the economy again: A new study released this week in Germany shows the mortality rate of the coronavirus factoring in the asymptomatic cases is much lower than is being reported. The German study found that around 15% of the population in the Gangelt had the coronavirus antibodies and were infected at some point. Using this data the researchers concluded that the coronavirus mortality rate was 0.37%. www.tagesschau.de/regional/nordrheinwestfalen/corona-studie-heinsberg-101.htmlThis is good news. It shows the coronavirus is only slightly more deadly than a seasonal flu. This also means the experts at the World Health Organization were off by a factor of 10. WHO leader, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stoked fear across the planet when he claimed the COVID-19 had a 3.4% mortality rate and then compared that to the annual estimated flu mortality rate of 0.1%.

Some of them say it’s hurting businesses who may have to close for good. “Now is not the time to pull back at all, it is the time to identify. That’s exactly what we’re doing,” said Whitmer during a press briefing on Thursday. “This doesn’t mean that everything is going to go back to normal on the 30th. However, we do know for the next 3 weeks we have to take these important actions.” There are new rules for companies to limit exposure to others. The governor also wants big box stores to close certain sections like flooring, garden centers and plant nurseries.

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee has filed a lawsuit against Walton County in Florida, and their Sheriff’s Office, for threatening to arrest him and his neighbors if they use their private beaches. Huckabee teamed up with several other residents to file a federal complaint over a county ordinance that closed all beaches, including the ones on private property, which they contend stops them from “being able to use or even set foot in their own backyards.” The lawsuit was filed on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida and argues that their constitutional rights are being violated by the social distancing orders. They are seeking an injunction to stop the ordinance from being enforced. Their argument is that the order constitutes a “temporary taking” of their private property in violation of the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Law & Crime reports that the lawsuit says authorities “have been and are currently patrolling and occupying the private beachfront properties” without permission and threatening to “arrest or fine Plaintiffs, their family members, or invitees on their private properties.” lawandcrime.com/covid-19-pandemic/mike-huckabee-sues-florida-authorities-for-threatening-to-arrest-him-on-his-private-beach/ The Amended Ordinance prevents the Plaintiffs, many of whom own residences along the beach, from utilizing their own backyards to quarantine or stay safe at home. The chances of a family or landowner catching or spreading COVID-19 is far less in his or her own private backyard (where no one else should be less they be trespassing) than traveling to the grocery store or hardware store or other essential business,” the lawsuit says. The case is scheduled to be heard on Monday.

Since she is against it, that means it's the correct & sensible thing to do. So, open it up Mr. President: www.dailywire.com/news/nancy-pelosi-says-congress-will-not-reopen-in-april-warns-trump-not-to-restart-economyNancy Pelosi Says Congress Will NOT Reopen In April, Warns Trump Not To Restart Economy Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi told Politico Friday that she is considering keeping the House of Representatives out of session longer than the April 20th return-from-recess date, and may not bring Congress back until well into May — and she’s warned President Donald Trump to keep the country under lockdown even longer. Pelosi is drafting a fourth coronavirus relief package, to be introduced when Congress returns from recess in the spring, but it now appears that trillion dollar aid bill will be indefinitely delayed while she holds her chamber in recess. Pelosi “signaled Thursday that the House is unlikely to return to session later this month, her clearest indication yet that Congress — like the rest of the country — could remain shuttered for weeks or even longer as the coronavirus crisis continues,” according to Politico. She also had harsh words for President Trump who has, reportedly, begun the process of convening a second coronavirus task force, this one charged with plotting a course to reopen the country and restart the economy. Trump has said before that he hopes to roll out a plan to lift coronavirus-related lockdowns as early as May first, subject to the advice of several of his top healthcare experts. “Hopefully we’re going to be opening up …. very, very, very, very soon, I hope,” Trump said Thursday during his daily coronavirus briefing. “We’re going to open up strong, very successfully and I’d like to say even more successfully than before.” Pelosi wants the country in economic lockdown much longer, she told Politico. “Nobody can really tell you that and I would never venture a guess. I certainly don’t think we should do it sooner than we should,” Pelosi said. “This has taken an acceleration from when we started this. Little did we know then that at this point, we’d be further confined.” She also suggested that Trump’s advisors rein the president in if he moves too quickly to restore economic function: “I would hope that the scientific community would weigh in and say, ‘You can’t do this, it is only going to make matters worse if you go out too soon.'” That’s an odd statement, given that Pelosi and others were still at work even as states declared full lockdowns to prevent or slow the spread of coronavirus. The $2.2 trillion CARES Act — the third coronavirus relief package — was passed just before Congress left Washington, D.C., for their spring recess. On Thursday, Pelosi, who now says there will be little more than a skeleton crew of Federal legislators in Washington until at least May, stood in the way of an emergency relief bill that would have added $350 billion to the Paycheck Protection Program, a small business relief fund that is swifly running out of cash. She implied, in her speeches Thursday afternoon, that she wanted the bill brought before the full House and Senate rather than passed by unanimous consent — something that can’t happen unless Pelosi gets all of her own members on the same page and in the same room. Small business owners may now have to wait for months to see additional relief funds.

Bus passengers in Philadelphia and surrounding areas were ordered effective Thursday to wear masks in order to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 Chinese coronavirus. The order was issued by the city transit authority SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) with a statement riders could be refused passage by operators and that transit police would enforce the mandate.

People want to go back to our countries.” “I don’t know what the problem is with China,” the student said. “Everywhere that Africans live they are pushing us away.” The forced evictions were predicated by online rumors that coronavirus was spreading among Africans living in Guangzhou, which has one of the largest African communities in China, the BBC reported

www.breitbart.com/national-security/2020/04/10/report-chinas-coronavirus-data-off-millions-cases/A report published by the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) this week denounced China’s official coronavirus statistics as mathematically improbable and estimated the true number of infections from the epidemic in China was about 2.9 million, over a hundred times the total of 81,907 infections claimed by Beijing as of Friday. “Population size makes it almost certain that China’s disinformation about what happened outside the original outbreak city of Wuhan is worse than the disinformation about what happened inside,” the AEI report contended. The report quoted figures from Chinese state media in January to demonstrate that the number of people who left the outbreak city of Wuhan and its surrounding Hubei province before the city and province were locked down – a wave of travelers consistent with the Lunar New Year season in previous years – would have infected far more people than the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) claims. Even assuming those figures from Chinese state media were on the high side, possibly because Wuhan officials were eager at the time to demonstrate the enigmatic illness they were passing off as a minor annoyance was not interfering with daily life or the holiday season, the lowest estimates have over a million people leaving the hot zone before travel was restricted – many of them probably carrying the highly infectious coronavirus, which can lurk inside people who do not appear sick, each of whom could be capable of infecting five or six other people. No other city in China was taking any real precautions when many of those travelers departed from Wuhan, because the CCP was actively concealing the existence of the coronavirus and harshly punishing doctors who tried to warn about it. The outrageous mendacity of the CCP prevents us from knowing exactly when the coronavirus first began spreading among the human population, but it was at least four weeks before travel from Hubei province was restricted, and possibly as much as nine weeks. The rest of the world has now learned to its dismay how rapidly the Wuhan virus can spread in less than four weeks. AEI noted that China has also been less than forthcoming with detailed information about exactly how many people left Wuhan before the lockdown was imposed, and every day matters when calculating the spread of such an infectious disease, but contemporaneous Chinese media and foreign eyewitness accounts give us reason to suspect there was a great deal of panicked travel out of Wuhan shortly before the city was sealed off, which would be the worst-case scenario for plotting the true extent of infections across the rest of China. Using the best available dataset from South Korea, a far more honest country that experienced one of the first massive outbreaks beyond China’s borders, AEI argued that for China’s official count of infections to be accurate, the coronavirus would have to be less than half as infectious as the lowest estimate from reputable epidemiologists and virtually none of the migrants who left Wuhan in early 2020 or late 2019 could have been carrying it. Those assumptions are, as the AEI report put it, “not reasonable.” China’s already absurd claims look even more ridiculous when remembering that China claims 67,803 of its 81,907 coronavirus cases occurred inside Hubei province – which means less than 15,000 people were infected across the rest of China’s huge land mass and teeming population. As AEI pointed out, in every other country on Earth, it took less than a week to surge past 15,000 cases before stringent quarantine measures were put in place. Lockdowns did not begin appearing across most of China until the first week in February, which gave travelers and migrant workers from Wuhan at least 11 days to circulate while the virus was blooming. That was plenty of time to spread far more infections than the CCP is willing to admit. Italy and Germany saw 27,000 coronavirus infections triple in 11 days, even with more extensive travel restrictions in place than anything practiced in China during late January. Spain’s infections quadrupled in 11 days. “It has become common to hear assertions that Chinese cultural superiority enables arithmetic-defying results,” AEI observed. “Nonetheless, here is a bit more arithmetic: Merely the top four cities for the migrant flights from Wuhan in the state media article match Italy’s population. Henan’s population alone is 50 percent larger. In total, China ex-Hubei is nearly 23 times more populous than Italy.” Using Italy’s infection data, AEI calculated that even with a “superior” response by China factored in, and a substantially lower number of people leaving Hubei province than China’s own state-controlled media reported, and an improbably low 21 days for the virus to circulate before lockdowns were imposed, China would have nearly 2.9 million cases. “Cutting yet more days off circulation time, to simulate a miraculous Chinese response, would reduce the estimate to only 150 times larger than the barely 15,000 cases Beijing reports,” AEI added, referring to the number of cases China claims to have diagnosed outside of Hubei province. Anticipating criticism that China could not possibly hide millions of coronavirus cases, the AEI report pointed out that China’s immense population probably deals with over 100 million cases of respiratory illness per year, giving it plenty of diagnostic space (and hospital beds) to hide coronavirus patients – and lots of mortuary space to hide fatalities. The authoritarian regime in Beijing employs millions of human censors, plus artificial intelligence to control speech and suppress information. China routinely lies about the state of its economy, and it doesn’t even pretend to measure unemployment, so it also has plenty of information space to conceal the shocks from mass infections and harsh responses that dominate headlines in other countries. The AEI report concluded by noting the Chinese Communist Party has worked hard to make outside estimates of the pandemic difficult and imprecise. The choice for outside observers is to accept calculations using the lowest realistic factors available, which puts the true number of cases close to three million, or “you can believe that 1.2 million travelers from ground zero of a pandemic, some freely circulating for weeks, resulted in national contagion of a little over 15,000 cases.”

thefederalist.com/2020/04/10/medias-latest-strategy-to-fight-trump-remove-him-from-his-press-conferences/Media’s Latest Strategy To Fight Trump: Remove Him From His Press Conferences After failing to censor President Trump's press conferences, media are working on a new plan of pressuring him to remove himself from his press conferences. Mollie Hemingway By Mollie Hemingway APRIL 10, 2020 For years, the media complained that President Donald Trump wasn’t holding enough press conferences. Now, as the media’s poor performance in his daily coronavirus press conferences is on worldwide display, they’re begging him to leave his own press conferences, and leave them alone to craft their anti-Trump storylines. When March polls showed Trump receiving unusually high marks for his handling of the Coronavirus pandemic, and the media receiving their traditionally low marks for it, many journalists began pushing for censorship of the press conferences. While many outlets tried this approach, it obviously failed with viewers who turned to other outlets for the news they sought. The media, however, continued to be mocked for the prevalence of silly and unserious questions from reporters who clearly think they come off better outside their echo chambers than they do: In an attempt to regain control, the media have shifted to a new approach. Trump’s daily press conferences with updates on the Wuhan Coronavirus pandemic are actually bad for him, yeah that’s the ticket! The New York Times’ Jonathan Martin and Maggie Haberman, who would be known for their extreme anti-Trump posture and histrionic analysis if it weren’t shared by nearly everyone else in the White House press corps, laid out their case in a tendentious essay that the usual followers at many media outlets echoed throughout the day. The article claims that “White House allies and Republican lawmakers” — not the embarrassed media — are deeply concerned by the briefings. Sen. Lindsay Graham, a South Carolina Republican known for nightly telling television audiences his senate committee will someday do things in response to horrific wrongdoing by the agencies they oversee, said Trump should drop the press conferences to once a week. Sniping also came in, reportedly, from Sen. Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia and Representative Susan Brooks of Indiana. Martin and Haberman emphasized that polling shows Trump trails governors and medical experts in surveys of who the public trusts. However, they noticeably failed to mention that the media trails far behind all of them, and is the only group underwater out of all the institutions and public leaders surveyed. Whereas Trump has a 22-point net approval rating in the poll they mentioned, the media’s net approval rating was negative 11 points, a 33-point difference. That very important and relevant fact was studiously hidden by Martin and Haberman from the public, as per usual. Instead, the “journalists” highlight that Trump’s job approval has ticked down a bit. That’s true, and is due not to the president spending too much time at his press conferences, but at frustration that he’s following the media’s lead in focusing on the serious public health crisis at the expense of the traumatic costs of the shutdown. Those who virulently loathe him, such as those in the media, would not give Trump positive ratings even if their lives depended upon it. Others support him seemingly no matter what he does. But those outside those extremes are able to balance competing thoughts. They can approve of virus suppression attempts while not thinking it should go on perpetually, as the media are pushing for. They can support initial efforts while getting annoyed and losing patience with Trump bending the knee to Coronavirus concerns at the expense of all other concerns. The Coronavirus pandemic has three major battle fronts: public health, economic, media. Whatever his flaws, Trump understands that all three battles must be waged. The deadly Coronavirus must be fought lest it overwhelm hospitals. The economic collapse must be fought lest the “cure be worse than the disease,” as he’s fond of saying. And the media — which are currently parroting Communist Chinese government propaganda, engaged in cartoonishly hostile postures, and showing opposition to any discussion of an exit strategy — must also be contended with strongly if the other two fronts are to have any chance of success. It is rather absurd on its face to suggest that the president of the United States should not be managing his own press conferences no matter the situation. But in a situation that marries public health, economic, and media crises, it’s even more absurd. The media would like the federal government to continue focusing on the public health issue at the expense of the others. Seen that way, their push to remove Trump from his press conferences is understandable, since he keeps emphasizing media malfeasance and the economic shutdown, both barriers to the continued exclusive focus on the public health crisis. There is no Republican in existence who handles media malfeasance as well as Trump. It is obvious that the media objective is to turn the handling of the Coronavirus pandemic into Trump’s “Katrina.” Trump doing press conferences is a major frustration in their ability to do that. That’s why the media are trying to pressure him to stop doing them. For the average American, it is difficult to navigate the news, politics, and policy in an environment where so very many in the media are actively framing every event and data point through the lens of how it can be used to hurt Trump. Far too many in the news media are not focused on conveying information that is true or factual, and certainly not whether it is good for America or for its citizens. The simple calculus is to push the envelope as far as they think they can get away with in their goal to ensure Trump does not win re-election. When the president and other leaders, along with tens of millions of regular Americans, are actively trying to figure out what’s best for the nation during a legitimate national emergency, one that is unprecedented and with fast-changing information, compounded by the full shut-down of a capitalist economy, it is an added burden on citizens to have to contend with a media in large part committed to misinformation, dishonesty and outright propaganda. No, Trump should not abandon his daily press briefings because of media pressure. He should of course keep speaking to the American people who elected him. He should understand that the media pressure to keep him from focusing on reopening the American economy is of course a trap. Once the media get through emphasizing the likely apex of deaths in the coming days, Trump will need to fight the media’s pressure. He will need to do press conferences to keep corrupt and disingenuous media from telling falsehoods and spinning the news. He will need to do press conferences to provide leadership on the economic crisis the country faces. And he will need to do press conferences to communicate the nation’s plan for handling the next 18 months of a public health crisis.

www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/04/10/5-shocking-facts-about-who-chief-tedros-adhanom-ghebreyesus/The director-general of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-influenced World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, is not a medical doctor and is a member of a Marxist-Leninist Ethiopian political party that analysts have listed as a perpetrator of terrorism. U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration has said it is “reevaluating” American taxpayer-funded assistance to the WHO, a United Nations organ, over its lackluster response to the raging novel coronavirus pandemic and its relationship with China. The coronavirus originated in China’s Wuhan region. On Wednesday, the WHO director defended the international organizations’ response to the viral outbreak in response to criticism from Trump, claiming that the nation of Taiwan had been instigating a campaign of racist slurs against him without providing evidence. Although U.S. funding for the WHO reportedly exceeds China’s financial contributions more than ten-fold, Beijing appears to maintain more influence over the U.N. entity. Below are five worrisome facts about the man leading the WHO amid the coronavirus pandemic that had infected over 1.5 million people and killed over 90,000 across the world as of Thursday afternoon: Tedros Helped Beijing Hide the Severity of the Chinese Coronavirus OutbreakOn January 14, months after health officials are believed to have detected the first case of the virus in China on November 17 of last year, the WHO was promoting a Chinese claim via Twitter that there was “no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission.” Meanwhile, the disease was spiraling out of control. The WHO tweet came a day before the first case to reach the United States reportedly flew from Wuhan to the state of Washington. Tedros is Not a Medical DoctorThe WHO director holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Community Health from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom and a Master of Science (MSc) in Immunology of Infectious Diseases from the University of London. China reportedly supported Tedros’s rise to lead the WHO in 2017, even though he was not trained as a medical doctor. The WHO Director is a Member of the Leftist Tigrayan People’s Liberation Front (TPLF)As a member of the violent and powerful communist Ethiopian political party known as the Tigrayan People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), Tedros rose through Ethiopia’s autocratic regime as health (2005-2012) and foreign minister (2012-2016). Analysts, reportedly including American government officials, have listed the TPLF in the Global Terrorism Database. When it came to power in 1991, TPLF was in the vanguard of that year’s overthrow of Ethiopia’s military regime under dictator Col. Mengistu Haile Mariam. TPLF played a role in Ethiopia’s 1980s famine a few years after launching its protracted rebellion against the military government in 1975. The party is also reportedly linked to other gross human rights violations. Tedros Helped Indebt Ethiopia to ChinaEthiopia has borrowed billions from China, reportedly including more than $13 billion during Tedros’ tenure as foreign minister between 2012 and 2016. An editorial published by the Hill in mid-March pointed out: We note China’s connections to Tedros’s homeland of Ethiopia, now called East Africa’s ‘Little China’ because it has become China’s bridgehead to influence Africa and a key to China’s Belt and Road initiative there. Indeed, China has invested heavily in Ethiopia. Citing the coronavirus threat last month, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed issued asked the international community for immediate debt relief. China has become Ethiopia’s largest trading partner, thanks in part to Beijing’s’ investments in the African country while Tedros was foreign minister. Tedros named Robert Mugabe a WHO ‘goodwill ambassador’In October 2017, Tedros named Mugabe a “goodwill ambassador” to help combat non-communicable diseases in Africa, provoking outrage from medical professionals and human rights groups. At the time the New York Times noted: The role of good-will ambassador is largely symbolic, but rights groups were scathing in their reaction to the symbolism of giving it to a man whose leadership, they say, has led to the collapse of its health service and major rights abuses in Zimbabwe. Ultimately, Tedros rescinded his decision to name Mugabe “goodwill ambassador” in the wake of criticism.

Starting on Tuesday Massachusetts started going back and adding new deaths to their daily counts. What is this all about?
And as you can see, from the state charts, in many cases the people who died were extremely old – in their 90s or even 100s – and there is no information about whether they had preexisting conditions or even if they were hospitalized.
This is very shady.

Anyone else notice that the fascism is being implemented where Democrat mayors/governors are? Police in Beverly, Massachusetts set up a one-way sidewalk so residents can practice ‘social distancing’ and threatened to fine anyone walking in the wrong direction. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8207015/Boston-suburb-sets-one-way-sidewalks-fine-walk-wrong-direction.htmlPolice in Beverly, in the north of the city, have mandated that locals who are walking in opposite directions along bustling Lothrop Street must now use separate sidewalks so that they are not brushing up against one another. Pedestrians must now walk against traffic and failure to comply with the new directive could result in a $100 fine. It comes as the state of Massachusetts struggles to slow the spread of COVID-19, with at least 16,790 confirmed cases. Beverly is located in Essex County, which has at least 2,100 cases.
