Senator Rand Paul wrote an oped at Breitbart this week that slays the Democrat argument for impeachment based on an alleged Trump “quid pro quo” agreement with Ukraine. ‘ Despite the fact that it never happened and the Ukrainian officials said it never happened, Rand Paul explains that if President Trump pushed for a quid pro quo that this is not only legal but is common in US aid agreements. www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/10/24/rand-paul-is-quid-pro-quo-the-status-quo/Isn’t all foreign aid supposed to be quid pro quo? We give you this aid — on the expectation that you will not steal any of it for personal use, that you will spend it as we instruct, and on the understanding that if you don’t spend the money as we command, you won’t get any more next year. Democrats want people to be alarmed by a Latin phrase, but, really, making foreign aid contingent on behavior is actually the defining reason that countries supposedly give aid — to influence the behavior of the receiving country. For example, for our military aid, we demand that it be spent buying from the American military-industrial complex. Foreign countries are legally bound to use the money we give them to buy armaments from American manufacturers. ..................................... And then this kill shot: But Democrats opine that Trump made foreign aid (welfare) contingent on investigating a potential rival, which makes the whole quid pro quo exchange somehow an impeachable offense. But I’ve yet to hear Democrats complain about the money (quid) that Hillary Clinton paid foreign spy Christopher Steele to get dirt (the quo) on her political opponent — Donald Trump. Do Democrats really believe they can sweep the quid pro quo of Hillary Clinton and Christopher Steele under the rug and ignore it? The Senate should immediately commence public hearings that parallel the House hearings. The Senate hearings should investigate the quid pro quo of Hillary Clinton transferring money to a foreign spy in exchange for the Steele dossier. Hillary Clinton should be compelled to answer under oath: was there a quid pro quo? Former CIA head and current Trump-hater John Brennan should be summoned and asked: “Did you contact any foreign spy agencies or agents (active or retired) to investigate then-candidate Donald Trump?” Was there a quid pro quo? Former FBI head and current Trump-hater James Comey should be summoned and asked: “Did the FBI exchange money with a foreign spy to collect information on candidate Donald Trump?” Was there a quid pro quo? If Democrats want the American people to believe Donald Trump did something wrong in asking Ukraine to investigate the $50,000 a month that Hunter Biden was receiving, they will first have to admit that their fearless leader Hillary Clinton actually did much worse by paying a foreign spy, Christopher Steele, money for dirt on Trump. To convince the American public that their impeachment inquiry is anything other than empty partisanship, the Democrats will also have to admit that the Obama administration ginned up and purposefully spread the now-discredited Steele dossier. Democrats will further have to admit that Robert Mueller’s $35 million investigation found the Steele dossier to be pure fiction. When the Democrats admit that they have committed “quid pro quo” a dozen times in trying to entrap President Trump, then, and only then, will American voters consider their impeachment inquiry anything other than a witch hunt.

www.dailywire.com/news/watch-dan-crenshaw-tries-to-get-access-to-impeachment-inquiry-recordsFed up with being locked out of the process, Texas Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw is calling out the Democrats for their lack of “transparency” and potential violations of House rules in the way they’ve conducted their impeachment inquiry. In a video posted on social media Wednesday, Crenshaw highlighted a clause from “Rules of the House of Representatives” that contradicts what House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff has claimed as a rationale to prevent Republicans from witnessing or even reviewing transcripts of the hearings and depositions he and other Democratic leaders have been holding related to their impeachment inquiry. “So, Chairman Adam Schiff says that non-committee members can’t have access to all the hearings and depositions that have been happening with respect to the impeachment inquiry,” Crenshaw said in a video he posted to Twitter Thursday (video below). “Is that true?”
“It just so happens that I have a ‘House Rules and Manuel’ right here in front of me,” he continued. “So let’s check the House Rules.”
Crenshaw then pointed to a passage on page 568, as noted by RedState, which reads, “all committee records (including hearings, data, charts, and files) shall be kept separate and distinct from the congressional office records of the member serving as its chair. Such records shall be the property of the House, and each Member, Delegate, and the Resident Commissioner shall have access thereto.”
In other words, said Crenshaw, “we can actually go look at them.”
“So let’s go down to where they keep these records and see if they give us access — so we can inform you, the American people, what’s really going on with this impeachment inquiry,” he said.
Crenshaw then walked down to where the records are kept and attempted to get access to transcripts from the impeachment inquiry interviews. He came out frustrated, though not surprised.
“They won’t let me see it. Big surprise,” he said. “They say non-committee members can’t review any of these transcripts, any of these depositions that have been happening over this last week.”
“They say only committee members can see it, but the truth is I’ve spoken to some of these committee members,” he continued, “and they’ve been sending letters requesting to see it as well, to get an appointment to see it, as they’ve been told the proposal allowed them. And they’ve been told no also.”“So what is the process? Where is the transparency?” he asked. “There’s none. And that should frustrate all Americans.” “Adam Schiff isn’t allowing Reps. to see the transcripts from this impeachment inquiry, but selectively leaks small portions to the press,” Crenshaw posted in a tweet along with the video of his thwarted attempt to see the records. “This process should be transparent to the American people. It should be a fair process w/ clear rules, just like past impeachment inquiries.”

www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/10/25/senate-democrats-demand-william-barr-recuse-himself-from-trump-ukraine-matters/Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats on Friday called for Attorney General William Barr to recuse himself from “Trump Ukraine matters” as an impeachment inquiry into the president continues. In a letter to Barr, the panel’s ten Democrats accused the attorney general of having an “appearance of a conflict of interest” and urged him to recuse himself from all Ukraine-related affairs, which includes the department’s investigation into matters related to President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, and his associates, Igor Fruman and Lev Parnas, who were recently indicted on campaign finance charges. “Impartial enforcement of the law is essential to give the American public confidence in the Justice Department’s work. Your personal connection to these matters creates the appearance of a conflict of interest and gives rise to questions about whether the Department is being used to advance the president’s personal interests,” the letter states. “We request that you recuse yourself and identify the appropriate official who will be responsible for these matters. We also request that you confirm whether you consulted Department ethics officials regarding recusal and provide copies of any ethics guidance that Justice Department officials have provided in connection with these matters,” it adds. The letter comes after a New York Times report stating that the Department of Justice has launched a criminal investigation into the origins of the FBI’s Trump-Russia probe. Shifting the inquiry into criminal probe allows U.S. Attorney John Durham, the prosecutor tasked by Barr to lead the review, to subpoena witnesses for both testimony and documents. Durham will now have the authority to impanel a grand jury and to file charges. “If true, this shows Bill Barr is doing EXACTLY his job: following the facts Those who damaged America and broke the law to spread this hoax are about to face accountability,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) tweeted in response to the developing.

President Trump: I can’t believe that Nancy Pelosi’s District in San Francisco is in such horrible shape that the City itself is in violation of many sanitary & environmental orders, causing it to owe the Federal Government billions of dollars – and all she works on is Impeachment. We should all work together to clean up these hazardous waste and homeless sites before the whole city rots away. Very bad and dangerous conditions, also severely impacting the Pacific Ocean and water supply. Pelosi must work on this mess and turn her District around!San Francisco poop map App

It sounds like a crime ring. Then Senator Joe Biden contacted federal agencies at least twice to intervene on behalf of his drug-addicted son’s lobbying firm. This is in complete contradiction to what Joe Biden said in August. Biden told Politico, “I’ve never discussed with my son or my brother, or anyone else anything having to do with their businesses, period.” www.politico.com/news/2019/09/26/joe-biden-brother-cancer-initiative-investment-pitch-001675Biden told FOX News reporter Peter Doocy that he never discussed Ukraine with his son Hunter — before he threatened the Ukrainians to fire the prosecutor investigating his son. Joe Biden is a dirty liar. www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/biden-outreach-to-dhs-and-doj-overlapped-with-work-by-son-hunters-lobbying-firmJoe Biden privately contacted the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice when he was a senior and influential U.S. senator to discuss issues that his son Hunter’s firm was being paid to lobby on, according to government records.
On at least two occasions, Biden contacted federal departments to discuss issues related to Hunter’s firm’s lobbying clients, according to records reviewed by the Washington Examiner.
Biden’s behind-the-scenes outreach illustrates how his Senate work overlapped with his son’s business interests. Biden has faced scrutiny for taking actions that were perceived to benefit his son’s work, including calling for the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor and backing policies that helped the Delaware-based credit card industry while Hunter was working for MBNA, which is headquartered in the state.

www.breitbart.com/clips/2019/10/25/gop-rep-biggs-on-durham-probe-certain-people-ought-to-be-concerned/Friday during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Your World,” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) explained why now that the probe led by the Department of Justice’s John Durham meant certain players that were alleged to have interfered with the 2016 presidential election should “be concerned.” A day earlier, The New York Times reported the probe was now a criminal investigation. Biggs told fill-in host Charles Payne a number of those individuals could come under the scrutiny of Durham. Partial transcript as follows: PAYNE: So what do you make of these latest developments? It feels like the table, or the tide may be turning something — somewhat here. BIGGS: Well, I think it’s interesting. I mean, I always viewed this as kind of a quasi-criminal investigation that Durham was doing. And I think it really takes it into a grand jury setting. And that’s going to be interesting to see what comes out of there, because that’s where, if criminal charges are going to occur, they’re going to rise right through that criminal jury — excuse me — that grand jury hearing system. PAYNE: Yes. It’s — there was always a lot of frustration about the origins of this investigation. BIGGS: Yes. PAYNE: And even more so after the Mueller report was released. And now some folks believe that there was a deliberate attempt to investigate then-candidate Trump, because of concerns that he would become president of the United States. In your mind, does that reach the level of criminality? BIGGS: Well, I think it does. First of all, in order to investigate like that, somebody has to give the approval. And they have to — they have to get FISA warrants, which is what they did here. They have to go before a court. They have to state things that are accurate, under oath — penalty of perjury. That was done here. They’re not allowed to spy. Some of these intelligence agencies are not allowed to spy directly on Americans. And they were doing this for political purposes. If that’s the case, there’s some various — there’s various criminal statutes that are going to come into play here. They should be concerned. There were some people that you mentioned your last segment that I think ought to be concerned. There’s others that were not mentioned that ought to be concerned. PAYNE: Well, who are they, sir? Who are some of other ones we didn’t mention? BIGGS: I would look at Bruce and Nellie Ohr. I think I’m very concerned about those guys. And I can’t remember if you mentioned McCabe. I think McCabe should be concerned. I would even suggest that DAG, former DAG Rod Rosenstein should be concerned because he signed off on… PAYNE: Really? BIGGS: Yes, he signed off on at least one of those — those FISA warrants.

thehill.com/opinion/white-house/456619-george-soross-secret-2016-access-to-state-exposes-big-money-hypocrisy-of-democratsLiberal mega-donor George Soros made some big bets during the last U.S. presidential election. One was that Hillary Clinton would win the presidency. Another was that he could reshape Ukraine’s government to his liking, and that his business empire might find fertile ground in that former Soviet state. So when Donald Trump’s improbable march to the White House picked up steam in the spring of 2016, Team Soros marched to the top of the State Department to protect some of those investments, according to newly released department memos providing a rare glimpse into the Democratic donor’s extraordinary access to the Obama administration. Then-Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland received repeated calls, emails and meeting requests from Soros, according to the memos obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by the conservative group Citizens United. Solomon continued – Likewise, Soros set out a bold vision in an internal 2014 memo for his Open Society Foundation to help root out corruption in Ukraine and build a “civil society” after the Maidan Revolution ousted the country’s Russia-friendly president. It worked with U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) officials to leverage the so-called Kleptocracy Initiative to fight corruption. The initiative enabled DOJ to prosecute or seek asset forfeitures from foreigners suspected of corruption, even if the crimes didn’t technically occur on U.S. soil. Such initiatives are noble in principle. But in Ukraine, some targets had political and business implications as well. For example, one DOJ investigation in 2014 targeted Ukrainian oligarch Dmitri Firtash. He and Soros both have significant energy interests in Europe — and rival plans to rebuild Ukraine. After Firtash’s indictment, Soros’s business announced plans to invest $1 billion in Ukraine. Since then, significant problems have arisen with the DOJ’s case, thwarting efforts to extradite Firtash to the U.S. for trial. And finally, Solomon notes – And when Ukraine’s general prosecutor sought to investigate one of the country’s nonprofits partially funded by Soros during 2016, the State Department pressured Ukrainian officials to drop the case. .................................... The Obama State Department intervened in the Ukraine and stopped the case against Soros. dailycaller.com/2019/07/23/andrew-weissmann-firtash-sweetheart-deal/The ink was still drying on special counsel Robert Mueller’s appointment papers when his chief deputy, the famously aggressive and occasionally controversial prosecutor Andrew Weissmann, made a bold but secret overture in early June 2017. Weissmann quietly reached out to the American lawyers for Ukrainian oligarch Dmitry Firtash with a tempting offer: Give us some dirt on Donald Trump in the Russia case, and Team Mueller might make his 2014 U.S. criminal charges go away. ............................... A shocking piece of information from the Hill then noted that a foreign national brought Mueller and Weissman’s illegal actions to a foreign court and the foreign court listened and responded accordingly. thehill.com/opinion/white-house/454185-how-mueller-deputy-andrew-weissmanns-offer-to-an-oligarch-could-boomerangRemarkably, Firtash turned down Weissmann’s plea overtures even though the oligarch has been trapped in Austria for five years, fighting extradition on U.S. charges in Chicago alleging that he engaged in bribery and corruption in India related to a U.S. aerospace deal. He denies the charges. The oligarch’s defense team told me that Firtash rejected the deal because he didn’t have credible information or evidence on the topics Weissmann outlined. But now, as Firtash escalates his fight to avoid extradition, the Weissmann overture is being offered to an Austrian court as potential defense evidence that the DOJ’s prosecution is flawed by bogus evidence and political motivations. .................................... Today it's been uncovered that the US efforts to assist Soros go back at least to 2008 ==>> www.kyivpost.com/article/content/ukraine-politics/clearer-picture-112083.htmlFormer U.S. Ambassador William B. Taylor described in 2008 the controversies and operations of two natural gas trading intermediaries that were co-owned by billionaire Dmytro Firtash (left). The U.S. government believed that such intermediaries served no useful purpose and should be removed in the gas trade. ...................................... This is the same Ambassador Taylor whom Schiff touted as his star witness in recent leaks coming from Pelosi Democrats’ fake impeachment sham held in the basement of the US capital. For some reason the former Ambassador spoke out against the nemesis of George Soros in the Ukraine, Dmytro Firtash.

On Saturday morning President Trump promoted Powell’s recent findings on the Deep State’s lies and just revealed criminal actions to destroy General Michael Flynn.
President Trump: General Michael Flynn’s attorney is demanding that charges be immediately dropped after they found that FBI Agents manipulated records against him. They say that James Clapper told a reporter to “take a kill shot at Flynn. This has been a complete setup of Michael Flynn. They exonerated him completely of being an agent of Russia (Recently Crooked Hillary charged Tulsi Gabbard & Jill Stein with the same thing-SICK), and yet Mr. Comey still runs to the White House on February 14 and conjures up the Obstruction of Justice narrative against the President when Flynn had been cleared of everything long before that. The DOJ is withholding a lot of evidence & information, as are Clapper & Brennan & all of the people who participated in the complete setup of Michael Flynn.”(Terrible!) Sidney Powell. This is a disgrace! — Thank you @foxandfriends! Hopefully this is just the beginning of a massive story of injustice and treason. You will never learn this from the corrupt LameStream Media who get Pulitzer Prizes for reporting the story totally wrong. The ones who report it right get only RESPECT!

This wasn’t even fair. MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson made the mistake of inviting Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) on her show to discuss the latest coup attempt by Democrats and their media against President Trump.
During the discussion Jackson pushed the debunked conspiracy that President Trump withheld foreign aid to Ukraine unless the government investigate the Biden Crime Family. This was debunked weeks ago when President Trump released the transcript of his call with Ukrainian President Zelensky. President Zelensky has also debunked this conspiracy by his many statements to the press.
Democrats don’t care. They’re going to run with the lies anyway.
During the segment on Thursday Jackson pressed Gaetz on the impeachment-related testimony of acting Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor via what had been leaked to the public via Adam Schiff and the Democrat Party.
The discussion got heated as Hallie continued to push the popular liberal media conspiracy that President Trump threatened the Ukrainian government. (Which we already know is not true.)
Rep. Gaetz went off: “You just keep blowing through these things like they’re facts but they’re not. Just stop mischaracterizing stuff. I have to fact check you in real time.”
This was another great segment by Republican Matt Gaetz.

www.zerohedge.com/political/fbi-entrapped-flynn-manipulated-evidence-clapper-allegedly-issued-kill-shot-orderFBI Entrapped Flynn With Manipulated Evidence As Clapper Allegedly Issued 'Kill Shot' Order: Court Docs .......................... A bombshell court filing from Michael Flynn's new legal team alleges that FBI agents altered a '302' form - the official record of the former national security adviser's interview - that resulted in the DOJ charging him with lying to investigators. Early last week Flynn attorney Sidney Powell filed a sealed reply to federal prosecutors' claims that they have satisfied their requirements for turning over evidence in the case. A minimally redacted copy of the reply brief was made public late last week, revealing the plot to destroy Flynn, as reported by The Federalist's Margot Cleveland. According to the 37-page motion, a team of "high-ranking FBI officials orchestrated an ambush-interview of the new president’s National Security Advisor, not for the purpose of discovering any evidence of criminal activity—they already had tapes of all the relevant conversations about which they questioned Mr. Flynn—but for the purpose of trapping him into making statements they could allege as false." thefederalist.com/2019/10/25/sidney-powell-drops-bombshell-showing-how-the-fbi-trapped-michael-flynn/#.XbMA5c_k-4Q.twitterAt the heart of the matter is the 302 form 'documenting' an FBI interview in which Flynn was asked about his conversations with former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Powell alleges that FBI lawyer Lisa Page edited her lover Peter Strzok's account of the interview - texting him, "I made your edits." The edits explained via The Federalist:thefederalist.com/2019/10/25/sidney-powell-drops-bombshell-showing-how-the-fbi-trapped-michael-flynn/#.XbMA5c_k-4Q.twitterOn February 10, 2017, the news broke—attributed to ‘senior intelligence officials’—that Mr. Flynn had discussed sanctions with Ambassador Kislyak, contrary to what Vice President Pence had said on television previously.” Following this leak, “overnight,” Flynn’s 302 was changed—and substantively so. “Those changes added an unequivocal statement that ‘FLYNN stated he did not’—in response to whether Mr. Flynn had asked Kislyak to vote in a certain manner or slow down the UN vote.”
“This is a deceptive manipulation” Powell highlighted, “because, as the notes of the agents show, Mr. Flynn was not even sure he had spoken to Russia/Kislyak on this issue. He had talked to dozens of countries.” The overnight changes to the 302 also included the addition of a line, indicating Flynn had been question on whether “KISLYAK described any Russian response to a request by FLYNN.”
But the agent’s notes do not include that question or answer, Powell stressed, yet it was later made into the criminal offense charges against Flynn. And “the draft also shows that the agents moved a sentence to make it seem to be an answer to a question it was not,” Powell added. Here's Powell describing how they know the 302 form was altered: Notably, Lisa Page lied to the DOJ, saying that she didn't recall whether she took part in editing Flynn's 302 form.Laying the groundwork
Leading up to the interview with Flynn, the text messages reveal that the FBI wanted to capitalize on news of the 'salacious and unverified' Steele dossier - and whether they "can use it as a pretext to go interview some people," Strzok texted Page. Then, quoting from a sealed statement by Strzok, Powell reveals that over next two weeks, there were “many meetings” between Strzok and [FBI Deputy Director Andrew] McCabe to discuss “whether to interview [] National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and if so, what interview strategies to use.” And “on January 23, the day before the interview, the upper echelon of the FBI met to orchestrate it all. Deputy Director McCabe, General Counsel James Baker, Lisa Page, Strzok, David Bowdich, Trish Anderson, and Jen Boone strategized to talk with Mr. Flynn in such a way as to keep from alerting him from understanding that he was being interviewed in a criminal investigation of which he was the target.” Next came “Comey’s direction to ‘screw it’ in contravention of longstanding DOJ protocols,” leading McCabe to personally call Flynn to schedule the interview. Yet none of Comey’s notes on the decision to interview Flynn were turned over to defense. Even Obama-holdover “Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates candidly opined that the interview ‘was problematic’ and ‘it was not always clear what the FBI was doing to investigate Flynn,” Powell stressed. Yet again, the prosecution did not turn over Yates’ notes, but only “disclosed a seven-line summary of Ms. Yates statement six months after Mr. Flynn’s plea.” -The Federalist 'Kill Shot'Another startling claim in Powell's filing references a purported conversation between former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and Washington Post reporter David Ignatius, which claims Clapper told the reporter "words to the effect of 'take the kill shot on Flynn,' after Ignatius reportedly obtained the transcript of Flynn's phone calls. Clapper's spokesman told Fox News that he "absolutely did not say those words to David Ignatius," adding "It's absolutely false" and "absurd." Powell claims that Ignatius was given the Flynn-Kislyak call transcripts by a Pentagon official who was also Stefan Halper's "handler." Halper - who was paid over $1 million by the Obama administration - was one of many spies the FBI sent to infiltrate the Trump campaign. Halper, in 2016, contacted several members of the Trump campaign including former foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos and former aides Carter Page and Sam Clovis. “The evidence the defense requests will eviscerate any factual basis for the plea and reveal the conduct so outrageous—if there is not enough already—to mandate dismissal of this prosecution for egregious government misconduct,” Powell wrote. -Fox News Lastly, Powell's filing also notes that US District Judge Rudolph Contreras, who recused himself after accepting Flynn's guilty plea, had a personal relationship with Peter Strzok, according to text messages. "The government knew that well in advance of Mr. Flynn’s plea that Judge Contreras was a friend of Peter Strzok and his recusal was even discussed in an exchange of multiple texts," writes Powell, referencing Strzok-Page texts discussing Strzok and Contreras speaking "in detail" about anything "meaningful enough to warrant recusal." "The government knew that well in advance of Mr. Flynn’s plea that Judge Contreras was a friend of Peter Strzok and his recusal was even discussed in an exchange of multiple texts." Meanwhile, Clapper - who is now under criminal investigation - is getting nervous... Perhaps Obama should be too?

James Comey: But we have something in common. And I said it when I sat here with the first question you asked. We have a set of values that are at the core of this country that hold this place together… Our leaders must reflect the glue that holds us together. They can’t be people who lie all the time. They just can’t. And I hope people see that’s true whether they are Republicans or Democrats.
Nicolle Wallace: What if he wins again?
James Comey: I will be, from my new home in New Zealand, but I still will believe in America.
Unless he is in prison then, that is.

www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/10/26/report-top-state-official-testifies-he-was-unaware-of-alleged-push-for-ukraine-probes/A top U.S. State Department official is reportedly expected to tell House impeachment investigators on Saturday that he was unaware of an alleged push by Trump administration officials for Ukraine to announce an investigation into Joe Biden publicly. The alleged push is at the center of the impeachment probe. A “whistleblower” complaint that Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate Biden and his son Hunter in exchange for aid triggered the ongoing impeachment probe. Saturday’s testimony from Philip Reeker, the acting assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, is expected to mark the third time that an impeachment inquiry witness suggests there was no effort to pressure Ukraine to investigate Biden. Special Envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker and American Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland told investigators they were not involved in any effort to push for an investigation of Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. ‘ Volker and Sondland were heavily involved in America’s Ukraine policy. House impeachment investigators subpoenaed Reeker after the State Department reportedly attempted to block his testimony behind closed doors in a rare Saturday session. CNN revealed: www.cnn.com/2019/10/26/politics/philip-reeker-impeachment-deposition/index.htmlActing Assistant Secretary of State Philip Reeker was expected to testify in the impeachment inquiry on Saturday that he did not find out there was a push by Trump administration officials for Ukraine to publicly announce investigations into Vice President Joe Biden and the 2016 election until the whistleblower complaint was made public, a source familiar with his testimony told CNN. The “whistleblower” complaint became public on September 26. To the dismay of Democrats, the CNN source indicated that Reeker will not confirm explosive allegations made by Acting Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor during his deposition earlier this week. In his opening remarks, Taylor testified that the Trump administration “conditioned” U.S. aid to Ukraine on the president of the Eastern European country announcing an investigation into Biden and his son. Hunter Biden, the former vice president’s son, served on the board of directors of Burisman Holdings, a Ukrainian company linked to corruption. Republican lawmakers said Taylor’s claim “collapsed” when he members of Congress questioned during his deposition. Echoing Reeker, Volker told lawmakers there was no push for Ukraine to investigate Biden. “At no time was I aware of or took part in an effort to urge Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Biden,” Volker said in his opening remarks. Sondland added in his written testimony: I recall no discussions with any State Department or White House official about Former Vice President Biden or his son, nor do I recall taking part in any effort to encourage an investigation into the Bidens. … Withholding foreign aid in order to pressure a foreign government to take such steps [influence a U.S. election] would be wrong. I did not and would not ever participate in such undertakings. Although House Democrats have conducted all the impeachment probe proceedings in private so far, the media have managed to obtain opening remarks of some of the witnesses. Republicans have accused Democrats of leaking bits and pieces of information to fuel their impeachment agenda. Democrats say they will eventually open the proceedings to the public, but will not say when.

Raskin said, “It is our intention to make everything public that we can make public at the correct time. And we have every interest in transparency. It’s the White House, which, of course, is trying to blockade witnesses, prevent testimony, and refuse to turn over evidence. And we want all of the evidence, all of the documents to be turned over to Congress, and then, at the right time, they’ll be made available to the public if it’s legally possible to do that.” .......... Another duly elected Democrat is gone: www.zerohedge.com/political/freshman-democrat-rep-katie-hill-resigns-amid-sex-scandal-ethics-probeFreshman Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA) is resigning amid a House Ethics Committee probe into allegations that she had a sexual relationship with a staffer, which were followed by leaked naked pictures she threatened to sue the Daily Mail and other publications over. "It is with a broken heart that today I announce my resignation from Congress," said the 32-year-old rising Democratic star in an unnecessarily lengthy statement. "This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I believe it is the best thing for my constituents, my community, and our country." "Having private photos of personal moments weaponized against me has been an appalling invasion of my privacy," Hill said, adding "It's also illegal, and we are currently pursuing all of our available legal options." Hill also apologized "For the mistakes made along the way and the people who have been hurt." As Fox News's Chad Pergram notes, Hill's resignation is a significant hit to the Democrats. Not only did she flip a red seat blue last cycle, she was promoted onto the House Democratic Whip team by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and had also become Vice Chair of the House Oversight Committee.Earlier this month, Hill hired a group of Democratic Party super-lawyers to threaten publications, including the Daily Mail, that have dared to republish naked photos of the Congresswoman with one of her legislative aides, with whom she allegedly had a yearslong "throuple" relationship with her ex-husband, Kenny Heslep. The Mail published a series of nude photo of Hill and a former female staffer. Red State previously reported that Hill had been involved in a "long-term relationship" with the staffer and her husband. Hill is openly bisexual, and is one of the few members of Congress openly so. Hill eventually admitted to the affair with the staffer, however she denies having an affair with legislative director Graham C. Kelly, who was also part of her campaign. Moreover, the Washington Examiner reported that she continued to pay consulting fees to the female staffer Of note, having sexual relationships with staffers is against Congressional ethics rules, and Hill denied during her 2018 campaign - where she unseated a longtime Republican incumbent - that she had an "inappropriate relationship", but denied that she had a long-term "romantic affair" with any staffers.

www.breitbart.com/local/2019/10/27/report-dnc-vice-chair-owes-least-25k-back-taxes/The vice chair of the Democrat National Committee (DNC) reportedly owes about $25,000 in back taxes to the state of New York. Bronx Assemblyman Michael Blake, 36, who has called for the release of President Trump’s tax returns in the past, uncovered his tax debts in a federal financial disclosure report he filed in May as a Congressional candidate, according to the New York Post. The former Obama White House aide is looking to take 76-year-old José E. Serrano’s (D-NY) seat for the 15th district of New York in 2020. Blake’s profile on the DNC website stated: democrats.org/michael-blake/New York State Assembly Member Michael Blake was born in The Bronx, NY to Jamaican Immigrants. He is in his third term, representing the 79th District. In the NY State Assembly, Blake is the chairperson of the subcommittee on Mitchell-Lama and member of the following committees: Banks, Correction, Election Law, Governmental Operations, Housing, Veterans’ Affairs, Black, Puerto Rican & Asian Legislative Caucus and Puerto Rican/Hispanic Task Force. In 2018, Blake reportedly owed New York $13,000 in taxes, and later that year he was told he owed an additional $8,166.07. “He said he is paying down the state and federal taxes in installment plans,” the Post article noted. However, records showed he also failed to report that he received somewhere between $20,000 and $50,000 while doing consulting work for debt collection firm Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson in 2013. www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/ny-assemblyman-michael-blake-thousands-debt-collector-20190917-yri54qvcdfdaronbt7gi6cxvy4-story.html“Linebarger is one of the nation’s largest government debt collectors and reportedly one of the most ruthless – helping inspire federal legislation to combat deceptive tactics used by the industry,” the New York Daily News reported. On July 3, Blake said Americans deserved to know what President Trump was allegedly hiding from them when it came to his tax returns. In a subsequent tweet, he wrote, “When elected to Congress, I will fight to protect the institutions of gov’t, and ensure there is not one set of rules for the President and another set for us.”

dailycaller.com/2019/10/28/william-barr-progress-john-durham/Attorney General William Barr said Monday that the federal prosecutor leading an investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe has made “great progress.” Barr defended the prosecutor, John Durham, as having a “great reputation for non-partisanship” in an interview with Fox News. “He’s a by-the-book kind of guy. He’s thorough and fair, and I’m confident he’s going to get to the bottom of things,” Barr said of Durham, the U.S. attorney for Connecticut. Barr tapped Durham in May to lead an administrative review of U.S. agencies’ activities in the Trump-Russia probe. Little is known about the investigation, other than that Durham is looking at the activities of the FBI, CIA and foreign intelligence services related to the Trump campaign. Barr said earlier in 2019 that he believes “spying” occurred against the Trump campaign. (RELATED: FISA Abuse Report Is ‘Lengthy’ And Has ‘Few’ Redactions) Democrats have criticized the so-called “investigation of the investigators,” and accused Barr of acting as Trump’s personal lawyer. But Barr denied acting on behalf of Trump, and said Durham is “in charge of the investigation.” I understand he is making great progress,” Barr told Fox. Multiple news outlets reported Thursday that Durham’s inquiry shifted to a full-blown criminal investigation. It is not clear what prompted the change in status of the probe, or when it became a criminal matter. Also on Thursday, Justice Department inspector general Michael Horowitz informed Congress he is nearing completion on a “lengthy” report regarding FBI surveillance of the Trump campaign. Horowitz has been investigating the FBI’s use of the unverified Steele dossier in the investigation of the Trump campaign. The bureau relied heavily on the document in applications for surveillance warrants against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. The Horowitz and Durham investigations appear to have covered similar ground. Some lawmakers have speculated Durham is prosecuting criminal referrals that Horowitz might have submitted to the Justice Department during his investigation. Republican Texas Rep. John Ratcliffe said Sunday that he believed it is “not a coincidence” that Durham’s investigation became a criminal probe just as Horowitz’s investigation is wrapping up. Barr has worked closely with Durham in his investigation. The pair traveled to Italy together in September to meet with Italian officials regarding U.S. intelligence activities. “Well, some of the countries that John Durham thought might have some information that would be helpful to the investigation wanted preliminarily to talk to me about the scope of the investigation, the nature of the investigation, and how I intended to handle confidential information, and so forth,” Barr told Fox News. “So I initially discussed these matters with those countries and introduced them to John Durham and established a channel by which Mr. Durham can obtain assistance from those countries.” Barr also said FBI Director Christopher Wray has been “outstanding” in providing support to Durham. “As you know, I’ve said previously that I felt there was a failure of leadership at the bureau in 2016 and part of 2017, but since Director Wray and his team have taken over there’s been a world of change. I think that he is restoring the steady professionalism that’s been a hallmark of the FBI,” said Barr, in an apparent jab at former FBI Director James Comey.

www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/10/28/impeachment-witness-bill-taylor-led-ukraine-delegation-for-group-advised-by-hunter-biden/Acting U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor, who provided key testimony to the Democrats’ controversial impeachment inquiry last week, led an election observation delegation in Ukraine earlier this year for a George Soros-funded organization that at the time boasted Hunter Biden on its small chairman’s council. Two months before he came out of retirement to serve as the highest ranking U.S. official in Ukraine, Taylor led an election observer delegation to Ukraine’s April 21, 2019 second round presidential election for the National Democratic Institute (NDI) organization. The delegation’s mission, according to NDI literature, was to “accurately and impartially assess various aspects of the election process, and to offer recommendations to support peaceful, credible elections and public confidence in the process.”

Funny how it's never their fault. Ms. Hill blamed her abusive husband, the right-wing media and Republican opponents for the inappropriate relationship with her staffer and naked bong party scandal.
