Why cant we have a party who believes in this, vs two parties who's leaders both believe in taking power from the people to consolidate it all for themselves??
Voting for Trump was the best chance I saw to move in that direction. And, if you look at his actions since becoming president, he's done so, for the most part. Which is WAY more than any of the other candidates would have done.
But, we still have a long way to go, and unfortunately, the party that has traditionally pledged itself to the people is fighting us as much as the establishment Pubs and Deep State. Sad. But, as Pink Floyd said, “Welcome to The Machine.” (The left “raging against it?” Not so much, these days...)

I of course disagree with you concerning "WAY more" and I agree he has done some good things but the swamp is stronger than ever...he doesn't seem to like real conservatives for some reason based on his support for many candidates that aren't...really wish he would use his bully pulpit to actually force congress on some issues...he hasn't really done that...that is a big part of the job...definitely agree that neither party has the best interest of Americans at heart...hell even in Oklahoma citizens aren't protected at all from over-reach on many things public and private...some of that over-reach is pretty egregious even by private companies...

He's forced Congress on tons, especially relative to his predecessors - How about TAX REFORM?! How about kicking DACA/Immigration down to Congress where it should have been in the first place? Plenty of other examples. How has he "not really done that"?

Money...record omnibus spending bill that he signed...he may be cutting regs but is the federal government actually any smaller? cut spending? No...what has he forced congress to do that got passed? it was a tax decrease but little of it was reform and congress was going to do that anyway after failing to get rid of obamacare...tariffs may eat up those tax savings...he has failed up to this point on immigration...it is still similar to the Bush and Obama admins...some small changes...how about hammering congress on DACA? hammering them on anything immigration related? The Tea Party folks weren't really populists...they were law and order constitutionalists...populists were many Dems and others that voted for Obama previously...

Your tea party movement didn’t do shit, compared to what we’ve done so far. You may have had great goals, but what did you achieve? Hell, you can’t even see how stacked the deck was against you, but “muh omnibus!!” Is the debt a major concern? Absolutely. Is it the sole standard bearer? Hardly. It’s like you think this shit can be changed overnight. Maybe by fairies midnight voting on an omnibus bill. You want to get to the goal line, then spit on those working and taking risks to get you there. Shameful. Show me a better approach, and we’ll gladly take it. But, this is beyond put up or shut up. I’ve asked you 20 times if I’ve asked you once to show me something better than what you claim sucks, and you can’t, even one time. But, you’re still complaining and attacking us. Why? Stop with the bipolar splitting shit, and learn to recognize gray areas that get you to where you want to go. Because pure ideologies are the antithesis of representatives democracies. And, I truly think that’s the fundamental rule you’ve yet to recognize or understand. We plan to get to the omnibus bill, if you’ll give it time and quit complaining about bones thrown in your direction. Get real, man. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Oil you and I will agree on some things and not others but someone else has to hold him accountable...trumpers really don't ...after all I did vote for him but never voted for Obama and never would...I do like his rhetoric much of the time but how much of that really equates to enacted legislation...want to bet that the swamp is just as strong when he leaves office even after 8 years....Dems will be much weaker certainly but there are 2 parties running the swamp...really really hope I'm wrong...thought we had a constitutional republic?

Yeah, you’re right. I was a bit harsh there, my bad. One too many adult beverages before I posted prob. Lol We do agree on a lot, and I’d love to get where you want to go. I guess I’m just more ready to get there (due to perceived danger level), so I’m more willing to take flawed compromises versus getting steam rolled with hardliner positions. I know you don’t trust the other side so you refuse to compromise, and I get that too. I don’t trust those folks either...esp since there are fewer moderates than ever. Regardless, I know I get on ya sometimes, and that’s my bad bc we’re on the same team, and me getting upset doesn’t get us there. We need to unite against the growing commies. I just hope you can come more my direction, to increase our odds of draining this swamp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
