www.dailywire.com/news/50904/workers-exposed-trash-bodily-fluids-la-city-hall-jeffrey-cawoodCalifornia’s occupational safety and health agency found that workers at a Los Angeles City Hall building “were exposed to unsanitary conditions from trash and bodily fluids,” issuing multiple citations for failing to keep the structure’s passageways and exteriors clean. losangeles.cbslocal.com/2019/08/15/city-employee-diagnosed-with-typhus-last-year-still-not-well-enough-to-return-to-work/State inspectors responded to a complaint submitted by Deputy City Atty. Elizabeth Greenwood. She said she contracted flea-borne typhus last year while working at City Hall East, an 18-story high-rise that sits across the street from L.A.’s iconic City Hall. The City Attorney’s Office, along with several other municipal agencies, is located inside the facility. Greenwood, who is still recovering, filed a $5-million claim against the city in March. She accuses Democratic Mayor Eric Garcetti and other elected officials of recklessly endangering the public by allowing human feces and garbage to accumulate outside of her workplace, luring rats that carried typhus-infected fleas to the property. “The people that live and do business in the city of Los Angeles expect the city of Los Angeles to not casually allow them to catch a medieval disease as they walk into City Hall,” said Greenwood in a recent interview with CBS2/KCAL9 News. Typhus, which is seldom fatal, usually reaches humans by flea bites or flea feces. It cannot be passed person to person, according to public health officials. The Division of Occupational Safety and Health, also known as Cal/OSHA, determined that the city did not provide adequate cleaning services for City Hall East’s entrances and walkways outside. According to the Los Angeles Times, homeless people often sleep in those spaces overnight. The Times went on to report that Cal/OSHA issued one citation to the City Attorney’s Office and another to the General Services Department, which oversees the maintenance of city buildings. The combined fines amounted to nearly $2,000. Both violations will be appealed. “Our office clearly has no role in maintaining the building’s exterior grounds,” said a spokesperson for the City Attorney. More from the L.A. Times: www.latimes.com/california/story/2019-08-15/city-workers-trash-bodily-fluids-los-angeles-civic-center Cal/OSHA took action roughly eight months after a pest control company issued a report linking rodent infestation at City Hall to several homeless camps in the immediate area. Maintenance officials never mentioned those findings during three City Council meetings called to discuss the rat problem. The report, submitted by pest company Cats USA, identified unsanitary conditions in the Civic Center, such as leftover food, human waste and hypodermic needles. … Greenwood said she viewed Cal/OSHA’s actions as vindication, arguing that (L.A. City Attorney Mike) Feuer has repeatedly failed to take responsibility for how she contracted her illness. “They checked for fleas in the dead of winter, when fleas are dormant, and declared it was not their fault,” she said in an email. Earlier this year, Greenwood claimed she had faced retaliation from her employer for contacting Cal/OSHA. Los Angeles County set a new record with 124 typhus cases confirmed in 2018, according to the California Department of Public Health. However, Greenwood is the only City Hall employee to go public with a typhus diagnosis. She said doctors told her she would continue to test positive for the illness for another 6-12 months.

“That was a tough torch to carry and, as John said, there were many lonely days because he always said what was on his mind,” Cindy McCain said. McCain added that her husband “never did anything deliberately to be hurtful or anything. … I don’t see anybody carrying that mantle at all, I don’t see anyone carrying the voice — the voice of reason.” ............. Which would explain him traveling all the way to Washington to give a theatrical thumbs down on repealing/replacing Obamacare,(which he campaigned on and told his constituents he would do), and he also peddled the widely disproven Steele dossier to American intelligence agencies, etc. McCain was a RINO and a major Never Trumper. His actions proved that he did not have the country, nor her people in mind. The only thing he wanted to do was to protect the establishment & maintain the status quo. Trump called him on his bs & he and his family got mad about that happening. He was a worthless turncoat. In his short time after the election how many times did he screw Trump? Good riddance.

So, the Simpsons released an anti-Trump cartoon this week: Not a good sign: This also happens to come on the same week that Simpson’s creator Matt Groening is accused of having a Jeffrey Epstein sex slave massage his crusty toes. www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2019/08/21/accuser-says-she-massaged-simpsons-creator-matt-groening-in-epsteins-private-jet/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=socialOne of Jeffrey Epstein’s public accusers claims she had to give a foot massage to The Simpsons creator Matt Groening while on the rich criminal’s private jet, though she was repulsed by the cartoonist’s “crusty toes,” according to newly-released court documents. Hours prior to Epstein’s August 10th death, more than 2,000 pages of documents were released, related to a since-settled lawsuit against Epstein’s ex-girlfriend by Virginia Giuffre, one of his accusers. The records contain graphic allegations against Epstein, as well as the transcript of a 2016 deposition of the millionaire in which he repeatedly refused to answer questions to avoid incriminating himself. According to the documents, Giuffre alleges she met Groening aboard Epstein’s private plane, dubbed elsewhere as the “Lolita Express,” and that he asked her to give the cartoonist a foot massage during their flight from Carmel, California, to Los Angeles. Giuffre, 35, claims the incident occurred roughly 20 years ago, when she was 16. ............ Yet, President Trump is the bad guy.

Obama update for our resident left leaners: www.tmz.com/2019/08/22/barack-michelle-obama-buying-mega-mansion-marthas-vinyard/Multiple island sources tell us the Obamas are in escrow for the estate owned by Boston Celtics owner, Wyc Grousbeck. The former Prez and First Lady have been renting the house this summer and loved it so much, we’ve learned they made an offer. The property is listed at $14,850,000. Our sources say they’re paying less, but we don’t know how much. The estate — incredible. It’s 29 beachfront acres. The main residence is just shy of 6,900 square feet. It has 7 bedrooms, so Sasha and Malia have a place to crash, along with several of their friends. It has the obligatory pool, an outdoor fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, vaulted ceilings and 2 guest wings. It has incredible views, especially while soaking in the second-floor balcony Jacuzzi. .......... Let's also not forget that the Obamas were flat broke when they entered the White House & Barack even had his credit card declined previously: www.cnn.com/2016/12/27/politics/president-obama-axe-files-credit-card-dnc/index.html

Newsweek with an article on "If it's time to rethink the taboo of cannibalism?" www.breitbart.com/the-media/2019/08/22/newsweek-time-to-rethink-taboo-on-cannibalism/Since cannibalism is found throughout the animal kingdom and therefore is something natural, perhaps it is time for humans to rethink the “ultimate taboo” against eating human flesh, Newsweek proposes in an article Wednesday. There is nothing necessarily unethical or unreasonable about eating human flesh, declare psychologists Jared Piazza and Neil McLatchie of Lancaster University, but careful reasoning over the merits of cannibalism is often “overridden by our feelings of repulsion and disgust.” www.newsweek.com/cannibalism-animal-kingdom-ultimate-taboo-humans-1455287?utm_source=Twitter&utm_campaign=NewsweekTwitter&utm_medium=SocialWhile not going so far as to recommend cannibalism, saying “there is no need to overcome our repulsion for the foreseeable future,” the two authors suggest that humans could master their aversion for human flesh if they needed to. morticians and surgeons quickly adapt to the initially difficult experience of handling dead bodies,” they note. “Our ongoing research with butchers in England suggests that they easily adapt to working with animal parts that the average consumer finds quite disgusting.” Moreover, the psychological revulsion experienced over the prospect of consuming human flesh is not the product of reason and may even contradict reason, they argue in Wednesday’s article, which originally appeared last week in The Conversation. “Survivors of the famous 1972 Andes plane crash waited until near starvation before succumbing to reason and eating those who had already died,” they propose. All sorts of animals eat members of their own species, from spadefoot tadpoles and Australian redback spiders to gulls and pelicans, they state. And cannibalism can even be found among mammals, they add, such as with many rodents as well as bears, lions, and chimpanzees. Yet humans seem entrenched in their conviction that anthropophagy is simply wrong, no matter how many conditions are placed on hypothetical scenarios. Human revulsion toward cannibalism stems from our tendency to associate “personhood and flesh,” the authors propose, even when the flesh in question is no longer living. Even if we can bring ourselves to deem cannibalism morally acceptable, they contend, “we can’t silence our thoughts about the person it came from” and so our “bias” against eating human flesh persists. “The way we interact with animals shapes the way we categorize them. Research shows that the more we think of animals as having human properties—that is, as being ‘like us”’—the more we tend to think they’re gross to eat,” they note. While noting in passing that “philosophers have argued that burying the dead could be wasteful in the context of the fight against world hunger,” the authors ultimately do not propose breaking this taboo “for now,” saying that “we’re as happy as you are to continue accepting the ‘wisdom of repugnance.’”

San Francisco continues it's descent down the liberal rabbit hole. The term Convicted Felon was too mean, etc. So, it was sanitized into "Justice-Involved Person". In addition, a juvenile delinquent should become a “young person with justice system involvement,” or a “young person impacted by the juvenile justice system.” And drug addicts should become “a person with a history of substance use.” www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/philmatier/article/SF-Board-of-Supervisors-sanitizes-language-of-14292255.phpAccording to the resolution, 1 of 5 California residents has a criminal record, and words like “prisoner,” “convict,” “inmate” or “felon” “only serve to obstruct and separate people from society and make the institutionalization of racism and supremacy appear normal,” the resolution states. “Inaccurate information, unfounded assumptions, generalizations and other negative predispositions associated with justice-involved individuals create societal stigmas, attitudinal barriers and continued negative stereotypes,” it continues. “We want them ultimately to become contributing citizens, and referring to them as felons is like a scarlet letter that they can never get away from,” Haney said. .......... Interesting though, nowhere in the article, etc does it mention the victims of these "Justice Involved people" and what they think.

Actions meet consequences: www.news.com.au/finance/business/media/we-will-continue-to-represent-men-at-their-best-gillettes-backflip-after-toxic-masculinity-backlash/news-story/8ae70a5abc31280fc23711dcf7c30e5eRazor brand Gillette says it is “shifting the spotlight from social issues to local heroes” after an ad delving into “toxic masculinity” caused a customer backlash. The new ad, which launched last week, stars Australian firefighter and personal trainer Ben Ziekenheiner. “I’ve been a firefighter for 19 years,” Mr Ziekenheiner says in the ad… …In January, Gillette sparked an online firestorm and boycott threats with an ad about the #MeToo movement challenging men to “shave their toxic masculinity”. The ad, which depicted various scenes of men bullying and catcalling women, asked, “Is this the best a man can get? Is it?” The “We Believe” ad was labelled by some in the media as an “attack on men”, but others praised the brand for starting a “conversation”. In May, Gillette followed up with an ad featuring a father teaching his transgender son how to shave for the first time. While the “First Shave” ad was generally well received, it was widely seen as Gillette doubling down on its push into social issues. In response to one Facebook comment, the company said, “We believe brands play a role in influencing culture and have a responsibility to use their voice for good.” Pressed on whether Gillette would continue to talk about divisive issues like toxic masculinity, Mr Airan repeated, “We will continue to represent men at their best. This is our purpose and has been our purpose consistently for 118 years and that is not changing.”

China sends letter to foreign news outlets asking them to be more "objective" in their reporting of the protests in Hong Kong,(Interesting thought, how many like minded individuals in the MSM will comply with this and try to blame what happens on Trump?). dailycaller.com/2019/08/22/china-letters-news-hong-kong/China sent a letter to foreign news outlets Thursday urging journalists to be more “objective” and “impartial” in their reporting of the Hong Kong protests that have been ongoing since June. Protesters in Hong Kong have reached their 12th consecutive week of demonstrations against an extradition bill that would send criminal suspects in Hong Kong to mainland China for trial, among other issues like police brutality and China’s “one country, two systems” policy with Hong Kong. Beijing has said China’s “most pressing task” right now is to “end the chaos and violence and to restore order,” but because it sees foreign reports of the protests as bias, the country sent a letter to more than 30 overseas media outlets in an effort to impact how the news is being reported, according to the South China Morning Post. The letter, signed by Hua Chunying, the new head of China’s foreign ministry information department, call on the various outlets to do their “social responsibility” to help “protesters ignorant of the truth to get back to the right path.” (RELATED: Twitter Is Getting Paid For Chinese Propaganda About Hong Kong, And No One’s Talking About It) “There is still some coverage based on selective facts or no facts at all,” the letter reads. “…Hong Kong is at critical moment. The call for rule of law, order and tranquillity represents the mainstream public opinion in Hong Kong. The pressing task is to stop violence, end chaos and restore order, where I believe the media have an important role to play.” “I hope that you and the media agency you lead will take up your due social responsibility and make reports that are neutral, objective, impartial and comprehensive, so that your coverage may help those protesters ignorant of the truth to get back to the right path, and help those who have been seriously misled to come to a rational and fair judgment,” it continues. The demonstrations in Hong Kong have attracted some of the largest crowds in the history of the world’s protests. Its largest crowd in June drew 2 million people, and a more recent protest on Aug. 9 drew 1.7 million in the rain, bringing the region’s concerns to the attention of popular media outlets across the globe. “The Chinese government has established effective control over domestic media after the Hong Kong protests showed signs of violence and posed a challenge to the central government’s authority,” assistant professor of media and communications at Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University Yik Chan Chin told the Post. The Chinese military has been stationed at the Shenzhen border for weeks as a threat from China that it is willing to send military personnel into Hong Kong in retaliation for the sometimes violent protests there that have been taking place.

The Thomas More Law Center, a national nonprofit public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, uncovered a massive Islamic propaganda campaign which is being forced onto teachers in public school systems in Michigan and many other states. TMLC was concerned after hearing about a two-day MANDATORY Islamic training course for teachers taught by a Muslim consultant who was hired by Michigan’s Novi Community Schools District, according to TMLC. The Thomas More Law Center filed a FOIA request for documents related to this two-day Islamic training workshop and discovered that the teachers were being told lies about Islamic terrorism, jihad and Sharia law. Furthermore, the teachers were also being told by the Muslim consultant, an Arab, hijab-clad woman named Huda Essa, that white males are more dangerous than Islamic terrorists. Richard Thompson, the president of TMLC and chief counsel said, “We found that the teachers were subjected to two days of Islamic propaganda, where Islam was glorified, Christianity disparaged, and America bashed—all funded by Novi taxpayers.” “This type of infiltration amounts to an Islamic Trojan horse within our public-school systems,” Thompson said. “No other religion gets this kind of special treatment in our schools.” Even worse, according to TMLC’s investigation, out of more than 400 teachers who attended the Islamic propaganda workshop, NOT ONE teacher challenged Huda Essa’s denigration of Christianity or attacks on the United States. www.thomasmore.org/press-releases/tmlc-uncovers-tax-payer-funded-islamic-propaganda-forced-on-teachers/

www.breitbart.com/economy/2019/08/22/fed-officials-strike-defiant-pose-against-trump-sending-yield-curve-back-into-inversion/amp/Federal Reserve officials may not tweet their views of monetary policy but on Thursday they were happy to take to television interviews to challenge President Donald Trump’s view about the need for lower rates. The heads of the Kansas City and Philadelphia Federal Reserve banks both said in interviews with CNBC that they thought the July rate cut was unnecessary and further cuts uncalled for. The bond market momentarily seemed to revolt, inverting the yield curve for the third time in eight days. “My sense was we’ve added accommodation, and it wasn’t required in my view,” Kansas City Fed’s Esther George said. “With this very low unemployment rate, with wages rising, with the inflation rate staying close to the Fed’s target, I think we’re in a good place relative to the mandates that we’re asked to achieve.” Just hours after the interview, the Kansas City reported that factory activity in August had contracted by the most since 2016. The IHS Markit manufacturing index showed that U.S. manufacturing had contracted for the first time in a decade. The Philly Fed’s Patrick Harker also said he did not think that the July cut was appropriate and that the Fed should be on hold now. “We’re roughly where neutral is. It’s hard to know exactly where neutral is, but I think we’re roughly where neutral is right now. And I think we should stay here for a while and see how things play out,” Harker said. Even as Harker was making those comments, the 10-year Treasury rate fell below the 2-year rate, inverting the yield curve. This has often been a warning sign of an approaching recession and is widely viewed as an indicator that Fed will have to loosen monetary policy. A short time later, however, the curve un-inverted. Both Harker and George spoke from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where the Kansas City Fed is holding its annual research conference.

www.breitbart.com/the-media/2019/08/22/nolte-cnn-seeks-to-blacklist-sean-spicer-from-dancing-with-the-stars/amp/Within just a few days of ABC announcing that former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer will be featured on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars, the far-left CNN has already launched a campaign to have him blacklisted off the show. As CNN’s ratings and reputation have cratered, these blacklisting campaigns have become the go-to move for the fake news network to flex what’s left of its media muscle. In its non-stop effort to remove right-of-center ideas and arguments from the public square and to toxify as unemployable anyone who worked for or supports President Trump, CNN has already led the charge to have Alex Jones and infoWars blacklisted and de-platformed. CNN has also led a campaign to blacklist Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson by encouraging advertiser boycotts. Naturally, CNN’s un-American crusade to silence its critics and anyone on the right has included Breitbart News. And just as their namesake did, these hideous McCarthyites couch their blacklisting in virtue. Yes, even though CNN’s deliberate desire to mislead the country is well-documented… Hispanic George Zimmerman: The White Racist Killer Hands Up, Don’t Shoot Trump Can’t Win Brett Kavanaugh: Serial Rapist The KKKids from KKKovington High School Trump Colluded with Russia Yes, even though Brian Stelter regularly trafficks in wild-eyed conspiracy theories… CNN’s rationale for its blacklisting campaign is … honesty. “Wrote this about Spicer and ABC last night,” serial liar Stelter tweeted Thursday, “now it applies to Sanders and Fox too: How should ex-White House officials be treated when they spend months misleading the public, then seek positions of fame and privilege?” The obvious answer is that they should be blacklisted. CNN also followed this up by pretending it’s somehow a big scoop to discover a dozen or so people in the far-left entertainment business don’t want Spicer on the show. Naturally, not a single one of them would go on the record. And have you noticed how CNN’s “principled” blacklisting campaigns only work one way, on one side of the aisle. If you’re politics are the “correct” politics, there is nothing that won’t stop CNN from hiring you. Spend two years lying about Benghazi where four Americans died? CNN will hire you. www.newsbusters.org/blogs/matthew-balan/2014/09/10/cnn-hires-liberal-journalist-former-obama-flack-jay-carneyYou’re a 9/11 truther? So, California Governor Newsom blames the homeless problems his state is facing on Texas,(& not on his party's destructive policies which helped create & fuel said crisis). www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-23/california-governor-blames-texas-californias-policies-caused-homeless-crisisCalifornia’s authoritarian governor, Gavin Newsom, blamed the state of Texas for California’s homeless crisis. Rather than put the blame directly on the policies California has instituted that stifle free enterprise and punish heavily those who produce, Newsom said it’s the fault of Texas. Newsom said many homeless people on the streets of San Francisco are from Texas. in an attempt to shift the blame from himself and the polices of socialists (who get rich peddling socialism to the masses as everyone else becomes impoverished.) Former California assemblyman turned Texas resident Chuck DeVore reacted to Newsom pushing the blame onto others. The vice president of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, Chuck DeVore, said Wednesday that Gavin Newsom is “responsible for the policies that have created California’s homeless crisis,” in the wake of the governor blaming Texas for San Francisco’s homeless crisis.
“What you’re seeing here are the words of a desperate man that we should almost feel sorry for,” DeVore, who served as a California assemblyman for six years, told “Fox & Friends.”
“Governor Gavin Newsom has been in office now for 22 straight years, starting at the San Francisco board of supervisors,” DeVore added. Homelessness has been rampant across the state of California in the past few years and merchants and homeowners have become increasingly vocal and incredibly irate at how things are going in the socialist dystopia.Though San Francisco has more billionaires per capita than anywhere else in the world, its homeless problem has rivaled third-world nations, according to Fox News. So much for all that “wealth inequality” the socialists are constantly pushing down the throats of the ignorant. Government policies are the most to blame for San Francisco’s wealth inequality. DeVore doubled down on this, saying that the government’s enslavement of the people of Californian is exactly why he left. He decided to leave California because of its “high cost of living [and] very burdensome regulations and taxes.” “There’s more freedom in places like Texas, more opportunity to do what you want to do,” he said. The sad truth is that socialism doesn’t work and it never has in all the times it’s been tried. Humans are not meant to be slaves and eventually, they figure out that no one has a higher claim over their lives than they do.

A lesbian appears to have committed the first official crime in space: www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna1046061A NASA astronaut is accused of hacking her estranged spouse's bank account from space. Anne McClain, whom the space agency says is "one of NASA's top astronauts," allegedly accessed the bank account of her estranged spouse, Summer Worden, while aboard the International Space Station earlier this year, according to NBC affiliate KPRC in Houston. The two women are in the process of a divorce and battling over custody of a 6-year-old son, Worden told KPRC. She said she conceived the boy through in vitro fertilization and carried by a surrogate. Worden, who according to The New York Times is a former Air Force intelligence officer living in Kansas, said her son was a year old when she met McClain. The women got married in 2014, the Times reported. After about three years, they began having difficulties, Worden told KPRC. “I protect my son with everything I have. That is my No. 1 priority, but I didn't sense at that time that she was anybody that I needed to protect him against. I trusted her,” said Worden, In 2018, McClain asked a judge to grant her shared parenting rights of the child, saying in court documents that she had been "there for his first steps and first words" and that they had “a very healthy and deep parental relationship."

So, computer AI is biased against minorities & not the fact that they are more racist, biased, etc. www.campusreform.org/?ID=13560A new study out of Cornell reveals that the machine learning practices behind AI, which are designed to flag offensive online content, may actually “discriminate against the groups who are often the targets of the abuse we are trying to detect,” according to the study abstract. The study involved researchers training a system to flag tweets containing “hate speech,” in much the same way that other universities are developing systems for eventual online use, by using several databases of tweets, some of which had been flagged by human evaluators for offensive content. “The results show evidence of systematic racial bias in all datasets, as classifiers trained on them tend to predict that tweets written in African-American English are abusive at substantially higher rates. If these abusive language detection systems are used in the field they will, therefore, have a disproportionate negative impact on African-American social media users,” the abstract continues.

Frances' false claims about the president came during a segment in which Stelter, who ironically hosts a show called "Reliable Sources," brought on a second psychiatrist to bash the president.
"Well, I think 'medicalizing' politics has three very dire consequences," Frances began. "The first is that it stigmatizes the mentally ill. I’ve known thousands of patients, almost all of them have been well-behaved, well-mannered, good people. Trump is none of these. Lumping the mentally ill with Trump is a terrible insult to the mentally ill and they have enough problems and stigma as it is."
"The second issue is, calling Trump crazy hides the fact that we're crazy for having elected him and even crazier for allowing his crazy policies to persist," Frances continued. "Trump is as destructive of person in this century as Hitler, Stalin, Mao were in the last century. He may be responsible for many more million deaths than they were."
Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Mao Zedong are the three most notorious mass murderers in world history with all three men directly being responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of innocent people.
Needless to say, there is pushback:

Brian is saying he didn't hear the comment due to "technical difficulties".
