Muslim Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar took a shot at President Trump on Twitter for refusing to fly gay pride flags over U.S. embassies. Many people on Twitter pointed out the obvious irony of a Muslim from Somalia accusing President Trump of being anti-gay. I always say that Twitters comments are the bathroom wall of the internet but at times they are glorious.

from the Rev. Ronald S. Williams, who the Washington Post identified as “the senior pastor and chief executive of Mount Zion Fellowship in Highland Hills, Ohio.”
“ ‘A mobster? A con man? A gangster in the White House? I think so,’ ” Fudge said. Then Fudge read what the pastor thinks about supporters of President Trump.
“ ‘It is glaringly apparent that many who support the president’s administration are either racists, steeped in religious beliefs, ignorant, or as my mother used to say, just plain dumb,’ ” Fudge said. “ ‘I believe the crooked ascension of Trump to the Oval Office is a gauge that measures the declining patriotic and moral values of the many citizens of America.’ ”
Fudge continued with the letter, in which the constituent said the Republican Party is like a “cult.”
“ ‘My growing concern is that the Congress and Senate of the United States have more of a personal interest for themselves rather than a patriotic duty to the people they represent,’ ” she read. “ ‘The Republicans appear to have become a Trump cult, and the Democrats refuse to move against this man in a collected, decisive way.’ “
The reading of the letter occurred during “morning hour” time, when lawmakers can talk about nearly anything. And Fudge was proud of herself, posting her speech on Twitter.
Fudge got bashed immediately — by a member of her own party.
“The chair will remind members that remarks and debate may not engage in personalities toward the president, including by repeating remarks made elsewhere that would be improper if spoken in the member’s own words,” said Rep. Marc Veasey (D-TX), who was then presiding over the House.
“What is a ‘personality?’ ” Fudge asked.
While that debate was going on, Rep. Larry Bucshon (R-IN) was waiting at the podium to deliver his own speech.

Los Angeles, more taxes, etc..... abc7.com/politics/las-empty-apartments-could-be-taxed/5342639/Empty apartments in L.A. would be taxed under plan to help homeless ....... LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles homeless population continues to grow and that has Mayor Eric Garcetti on the defensive. Garcetti on Tuesday released an open letter addressing L.A.'s recent actions to solve the homelessness problem and promising that process is coming. "As your mayor, I take full responsibility for our response to this crisis,' Garcetti wrote. "And like everyone who has seen families in tents or spoken to a homeless veteran in need, I am both heartbroken and impatient.'' With L.A.'s homeless population estimated at more than 36,000, the City Council is now taking a look at ways to increase funding for affordable housing. "The society that we live in treats housing as a commodity, but we need to treat it as a human right," said council member Mike Bonin. Bonin and low-income housing advocates point to statistics that show more than 110,000 housing units in Los Angeles sit empty. Activists say property owners are hoarding properties, waiting for people to pay above-market rents. So now several city council members are pitching an Empty Home tax. "If people have the money to hold a vacant property then they have the money to pay a penalty," said Chelsea Byers OC Abundant Housing Los Angeles. Supporters of the vacancy tax say it would do two things: either spur landlords to drop their rents to levels more people can afford, or generate tax revenue that would be used for low-income housing purposes. "We hope that this makes people bring human beings into those units but if they decide not to, they'll give some money to the city so we can build housing for human beings," said L.A. City Council member Marqueece Harris-Dawson. The tax proposal is in its early stages; the council hasn't figured out the details, like how much the empty home penalty would be, or what types of units would be hit by it. But it is not getting much support from rental property owners. The California Apartment Association says landlords don't purposely keep units empty, and are already losing money when they aren't rented. "Rather than penalizing housing providers, the city should examine its existing fees and regulations and look for ways to encourage and incentivize housing providers to keep their units occupied," said Beverly Kenworthy, Vice President at C.A.A. Council members say the proposed vacancy penalty will most likely be a ballot measure, which means L.A. city voters would have to pass it. Supporters are hoping to get it on the ballot in time for the March 2020 vote.

amp.dailycaller.com/2019/06/12/norma-torres-gop-sex-starved-malesA Democratic California Rep. called her Republican colleagues “sex-starved men” on the House floor Wednesday, before withdrawing the comment at another congressman’s behest. Rep. Norma Torres made the comment while speaking on the House floor about the language in the fiscal year 2020 Health and Human Services appropriations bill. “It is tiring to hear from so many sex-starved males on this floor talk about a woman’s right to choose,” Torres began. (RELATED: PBS Tackles Abortion Debate In Frontline Documentary — And Gets It Right) Republican Georgia Rep. Rob Woodall called a point of order and said, “Mr. Speaker, I would just like to ask my friend if she’d like to change her last statement.” Torres then withdrew the remark before adding the following, according to Mediaite: I will put it in different terms. It is tiring to be here on this floor or in committee as a woman to continue to be counseled about what types of affordable planning — feminine, whether it is family planning conversations that rightfully I deserve to have with my own doctor, choosing when women want to have a family, and to avoid pregnancies before they become pregnancies. It is unfortunate that that is something that continues to be denied to American women day in and day out on this floor. And with that I will reserve the balance of my time.

Oberlin College trying to get out of paying the bakery their money, the court is not buying it: www.dailywire.com/news/48373/after-being-fined-11-million-damages-oberlin-ashe-schowattempted to have the case thrown out, claiming that because the compensatory damages were not separated between the members of the Gibson family and the baker, jurors would not be able to dole out punitive damages. They filed a motion for a mistrial because there was an improper “breakdown of damages per claimant by claim.” The judge denied their motion, according to Legal Insurrection. Oberlin then tried to claim that it did not have enough money to pay the damages awarded to the Gibson’s, and that doing so would end up hurting Oberlin students. Hopefully the jurors see through this latest attempt to avoid consequences for their social justice actions. From Legal Insurrection: Gibson’s lawyers spent considerable time going over Oberlin College’s IRS Form 990, showing over $1 billion in assets and numerous employees earning over $100,000, They also got the Vice President and General Counsel of the college to admit to some of the content of the blast email she sent out soon after the compensatory verdict, including that she felt the jury disregarded the “clear evidence,” though they were not permitted to show the jury the letter itself under a prior court ruling. The defense then argued that notwithstanding the Form 990, the college had cash flow and liquidity issues that would make a large punitive award difficult for the college. The defense compared the relatively poor financial condition of Oberlin College to other colleges and universities in Ohio. The defense argued that students would be harmed by a large verdict because the college might have to cut back on grants given to students. Legal Insurrection’s McGraw described the hearing as something similar to a divorce, with one side claiming to have fewer assets than it actually held. Oberlin even brought out its president to claim the school was failing. “We’ve created deficits … and over the next 10 years, if this continues, that is unsustainable and we will not exist,” Oberlin president Carmen Twillie Ambar told jurors........ My response to the bolded part:

As of last year they had an endowment of almost $900 million dollars. They might have to let some professors hit the bricks, but the bakery had to lay people off, and the owners didn’t take a salary for the last two years. And if they have to shut down the college, then too bad. Hopefully, other colleges will learn from this.
But I doubt it.

Well, the layoff/firing list would be easy to compile: dailycaller.com/2019/06/14/sonny-perdue-silent-protest-kansas-city/Government employees turned their backs on Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue during a meeting Thursday as a silent protest over the decision to relocate the Economic Research Service (ERS) and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA). The ERS and NIFA are currently located in Washington, D.C., and are research agencies within the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The USDA plans to move the agencies, including their 550 research jobs, to Kansas City, in a move to save taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars, according to CNN. Many of the employees, however, feel that the change is due to politics and only serves as a platform to interrupt climate research. Perdue announced the decision Thursday morning after both agencies previously voted to unionize in order to stop the move. ERS and NIFA employees continued to disagree with the decision and showed this by silently turning their backs on Perdue during Thursday’s meeting where he discussed the decision. He didn’t take any questions from employees afterwards, CNN reported. (RELATED: Hundreds Of Federal Employees Will Be Moved Out Of DC) entered into lightly,” Perdue wrote in a letter to the agencies’ employees. “And having recently undergone a major relocation of my own, I understand that this decision creates personal disruption for some of our colleagues and their families.” Acting vice president of the ERS Union, Kevin Hunt, said moving was “cold-hearted,” CNN reported. Some House Democrats and members of Congress have also been against the move. The inspector general for the USDA is investigating to see whether the decision to move the two agencies is legally allowed. “Secretary Perdue continually speaks of transparency and communicating to employees but has failed on both fronts,” Hunt said according to CNN. Perdue told reporters Thursday that “Congress can do what Congress does, and we will respect that.” He also said that they have tried to convince Congress that the move is a good decision, CNN reported. “Finally, taxpayers stand to receive significant savings as we will generate nearly $300 million nominally over a 15-year lease term on employment costs and rent,” Perdue announced in his letter to employees. “This will allow us to redirect more funding for our research of critical needs like rural prosperity and agricultural competitiveness, and for programs and employees to be retained in the long run, even in the face of tightening budgets.” The USDA did not immediately respond to request for comment. ........ So, it may end the farce of climate change & will save the taxpayers $300 million a year? Win-win in my book.

NY LGBT Center cancelled “Walk Away” meeting. The event was cancelled after far left gay activist Jason Rosenberg tweeted a screenshot of an ad for the event, which ran in the LGBTQ+ publication Get Out Magazine, on Monday. Rosenberg is a member of ACT UP, the AIDS activist group that has met weekly at the LGBT Center since its inception in 1987. Rosenberg said, “This is incredibly egregious that you’d host an event where panelists have used queer slurs and stood behind policies that put the community at great risk.” This was followed by other groups threatening to disrupt the event. The gay mafia struck again. On Friday Brandon Straka, the founder of the Walk Away movement, filed a complaint with the Manhattan Supreme Court against the LGBT Center in Greenwich Village alleging he was discriminated against by the cancellation of his 250-person WalkAway event “LGBT TownHall” in March, days before it was scheduled to take place. nypost.com/2019/06/15/former-democrat-turned-conservative-gay-rights-activist-slams-pride-sues-lgbt-center/“I’m considered a traitor. [The community] wanted to silence me, they wanted to roll over me and make me disappear,” said Straka, who is seeking $20 million in damages. He alleges that the LGBT Center caved to pressure from liberal activists who, Straka said, “mounted a smear campaign.” Some 280 people signed an open letter to the center, demanding that the event be canceled. The letter refers to Straka and his panelists as “racist” and “transphobic.” (One of the panelists, Rob Smith, is black.)

Judge just tossed out her lawsuit: www.foxnews.com/politics/judge-dismisses-lawsuit-of-former-campaign-staffer-that-accused-president-trump-of-forcibly-kissing-herA lawsuit filed by a former campaign staffer who accused Donald Trump of forcibly kissing her was dismissed by a federal judge on Friday. According to Politico, U.S. District Court Judge William Jung tossed out Alva Johnson’s complaint, saying in his 15-page order that “the complaint presents a political lawsuit, not a tort and wages lawsuit.” Jung added, “If plaintiff wishes to make a political statement or bring a claim for political purposes, this is not the forum.” Johnson was director of outreach and coalitions for the Alabama GOP primary in 2016 and later did similar work in Florida.

It’s a fantastic financial statement. And let’s do that over, he’s coughing in the middle of my answer. STEPHANOPOULOS: Yeah. Okay. TRUMP: I don’t like that, you know, I don’t like that. STEPHANOPOULOS: Your chief of staff. TRUMP: If you’re going to cough, please leave the room. You just can’t, you just can’t cough. Boy oh boy. Okay, do you want to do that a little differently than uhh– (Off camera ABC producer: “Yeah. We just changed the angle.) STEPHANOPOULOS: Yep, thank you. TRUMP: So at some point–so at some point, I look forward to, frankly, I’d like to have people see my financial statement because it’s phenomenal– STEPHANOPOULOS: It’s up to you– TRUMP: No, it’s not up to me. It’s up to lawyers, it’s up to everything else. But they’re asking for things that they should never be asking for, that they’ve never asked another president for. They want to go through every deal that they’ve ever done, they’ve–what they’re doing is a disgrace. STEPHANOPOULOS: You know other presidents have turned over their tax returns. TRUMP: They’re trying to do: step, step, step. They want to keep it going as long as possible to try to demean and hurt as much as possible so they can possibly win the presidential election. They’re not going to win the presidential election. Nobody’s done, in two and a half years, the job I’ve done as president. The economy is one of the best in the history of our country. Taxes are lower than they’ve been, almost ever, almost ever, certainly in the last fifty years. We’ve done a job with the vets. We’ve done a job with just about everything, even Obamacare, it was almost terminated, except for one vote by John McCain, but it was almost terminated. If it would’ve been terminated, we would have great– ...... Naturally, the Blue Check media Sprang into action to feed the “Trump is rude” narrative: Some in the media thought the coughing man was a cameraman. And, of course, the alleged quote from a former Trump campaign staffer: And they wonder why the American people don’t trust them, but honestly, Mulvaney should have done the courteous thing and left the room voluntarily if/when he felt the coughing spell coming on.

www.nbcwashington.com/news/national-international/House-Hearing-on-Reparations-for-Slavery-Set-for-Next-Week-511227951.html?_osource=SocialFlowTwt_DCBrandThe topic of reparations for slavery is headed to Capitol Hill for its first hearing in more than a decade with writer Ta-Nehisi Coates and actor Danny Glover set to testify before a House panel. The House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties is scheduled to hold the hearing next Wednesday, its stated purpose “to examine, through open and constructive discourse, the legacy of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, its continuing impact on the community and the path to restorative justice.” The date of the hearing, June 19, coincides with Juneteenth, a cultural holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved black people in America… …In an interview with Coates as he prepared to leave office, President Barack Obama questioned the implementation of reparations but not the concept. And in a conversation Coates had earlier this year with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., the popular progressive endorsed reparations.

The clients who seek sex workers vary, and they’re not just men. The idea of purchasing intimacy and paying for the services can be affirming for many people who need human connection, friendship, and emotional support. Some people may have fantasies and kink preferences that they are able to fulfill with the services of a sex worker,” the article, aimed at children as young as 13, states. .....
“Not all sex workers engage in penetrative sex, though, undeniably, that is a big part of sex work. Sex-worker services between consenting adults may include companionship, intimacy, nonsexual role playing, dancing, escorting, and stripping. These roles are often pre-determined, and all parties should be comfortable with them. Many workers take on multiple roles with their clients, and some may get more physical while other interactions that may have started off as sexual could evolve into emotional and psychological bonding,” the article explains. ......
Needless to say, there is pushback:

Harvard Rescinds Acceptance to Second Amendment Advocate Kyle Kashuv – After Far Left Twitter Mob Harasses School. ........
Kyle Kashuv was then admitted to Harvard. He is one of the top students in his class. Harvard also admitted leftwing Parkland activist David Hogg despite his average performance in school and his less than impressive test scores. On Monday Kyle Kashuv announced Harvard had rescinded his acceptance over some offensive tweets when he was 16.
Kyle Kashuv had this to say on Twitter: Harvard rescinded my acceptance. Three months after being admitted to Harvard Class of 2023, Harvard has decided to rescind my admission over texts and comments made nearly two years ago, months prior to the shooting. A few weeks ago, I was made aware of egregious and callous comments classmates and I made privately years ago – when I was 16 years old, months before the shooting – in an attempt to be as extreme and shocking as possible. I immediately apologized. After I issued this apology, speculative articles were written, my peers used the opportunity to attack me, and my life was once again reduced to a headline. It sent me into one of the darkest spirals of my life. After the story broke, former peers & political opponents began contacting Harvard urging them to rescind me. Harvard then sent this letter stating that Harvard “reserves the right to withdraw an offer of admission” and requested a written explanation within 72 hours… After receiving Harvard’s letter revoking my acceptance, I responded by asking for the opportunity to have an in-person meeting to make my case face to face and work towards any possible path of reconciliation. Harvard responded by declining my meeting request. ......

Investigator for Soros backed politician/etc indicted for lying & tampering with evidence: fox2now.com/2019/06/17/former-investigator-for-circuit-attorneys-office-indicted-for-perjury-evidence-tampering/?fbclid=IwAR35z9xr3Zj3b5FYCTPQxz95pfmKpQVI4qm1LS5QaT6jbDf54Z-3LeBCZzsA 30-page indictment lays out point-by-point accusations which are connected to Gardner’s investigation into Eric Greitens. Gardner’s office charged Greitens last year with invasion of privacy. The office then dismissed that case after defense complaints Gardner failed to turn over evidence and complaints that her private investigator Tisaby lied. The grand jury indictment claims Tisaby did – six times over. The indictment also raises questions about Gardner’s role, pointing out an incident of alleged perjury in which Gardner was present and did not correct the false testimony. Gardner has not been charged in connection with this indictment and has not yet responded to our request for comment. Tisaby pleaded not guilty at a late afternoon arraignment. All of this, to simply get a duly elected Republican Governor to resign.
