thefederalist.com/2020/03/30/twitter-removes-tweet-reporting-hydroxychloroquine-as-treatment-for-wuhan-virus/Twitter Removes Tweet Reporting ‘Hydroxychloroquine’ As Treatment For Wuhan Virus MARCH 30, 2020 By Chrissy Clark Twitter removed a tweet from Fox New host Laura Ingraham that suggested hospitals using hydroxychloroquine as treatment for the Wuhan coronavirus are showing promising results, despite the FDA’s approval of the drug for emergency use. “Lenox Hill in New York among many hospitals already using hydroxychloroquine with very promising results. One patient was described as ‘Lazarus’ who was seriously ill from Covid-19, already released,” Ingraham tweeted. According to Mediaiate, a Twitter spokesperson said Ingraham’s tweet falls under Twitter’s “misleading information policy under heightened-risk health claims.” Twitter is censoring the successful use of a drug which is already approved by the FDA. On Sunday, March 29, the FDA approved the malaria drug for emergency use for patients with COVID-19. According to Yahoo! Finance, the drug is currently being tested in New York hospitals. According to the FDA, taking hydroxychloroquine sulfate “may benefit certain patients hospitalized with COVID-19 for whom a clinical trial is not available, or participation is not feasible.” Last week, an elderly couple consumed chloroquine phosphate, a different compound contained in a fish tank cleaning product. The man died and the wife ended up in the ICU, prompting the media echo chamber to vilify Trump, who suggested researching the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, not chloroquine phosphate. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo also pushed for the use of hydroxychloroquine as treatment for coronavirus, and called for clinical trials to begin in his state

The report obtained by the Dayton Daily News says Dayton police launched their investigation when school staff alerted officers of the potential sexual abuse. Dayton police say the investigation is ongoing, though the allegations extend back to 2018. In the sex abuse case, Dayton police officers found Children Services removed the sister and brother in November 2017 to get them out of a household where their mother was the victim of domestic violence. Children Services placed the children with their grandfather, who had twice been charged with rape but not convicted, although he was convicted of domestic violence and a suspect in two other sexual assault cases. Already living in the home was a teenager placed there by Children Services because the teen sexually assaulted a 5-year-old family member in another county, the report says. The 4-year-old first told her mother that her grandfather was abusing her during a visitation in July 2018, shortly before the mother was to regain custody. The mother told the caseworker about the allegation, according to the police report, but the caseworker allegedly didn’t follow orders to schedule a forensic examination, left the girl in the home with the grandfather and then continued court-mandated visitations between the grandfather and the children after the mother got the kids back. In response to questions from the Dayton Daily News, Montgomery County Children Services officials said they conducted an internal review of the case but would not release the outcome of that review or comment on the case, saying agency records are confidential under state law. Personnel records obtained by the Dayton Daily News show she received a Letter of Instruction in April 2019 for not adhering to the agency’s mandated reporting policy in July 2018. She remains employed at the agency. The letter of instruction says that if an agency employee is notified that a child is a victim or at risk of being a victim of abuse or neglect by a parent, guardian or custodian, the employee must immediately contact the agency’s intake screening unit. It says they must then immediately fax over a report and notify a supervisor. No records of any other Children Services employee being disciplined for how this case was handled were given to the Dayton Daily News in response to a public records request.

www.breitbart.com/clips/2020/03/30/watch-cnns-lemon-opposes-taking-coronavirus-briefings-live-cuomo-pushes-back/During the transition between CNN’s “Cuomo Primetime” and “CNN Tonight” on Monday, CNN hosts Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo disagreed over whether news networks should carry the White House’s press briefings live. Lemon said, “I’m not actually sure, if you want to be honest, that we should carry that live. I think we should run snippets. I think we should do it afterwards and get the pertinent points to the American people. Because he’s never, ever going to tell you the truth. And guess what he’s going to do? If you ask a question that is a legitimate question, and if he doesn’t like the question, he is going to say whether it’s — whether you’re being mean or not or whatever he wants to call it, he is going to say, that is a mean, nasty question. … Those press briefings have become his new ‘Apprentice.’ They’ve become his new rallies.” Cuomo responded, “I understand the frustration with his messaging.” Cuomo later added, “I don’t believe in censorship.” Lemon replied that he wasn’t advocating ignoring the briefings altogether. Cuomo then stated, “I’m saying play all of it. I want to hear everything he has to say. I want it all to be out there and I want him to be held to account. Because this isn’t BS politics right now. It’s not about nicknames. It’s not about what he can call another party.”

While House Speaker Nancy Pelosi talks endlessly about helping working Americans, she’s quietly making an effort to get millions of dollars for millionaires. Pelosi is proposing a rollback cap on state and local tax (SALT) deductions as part of the next coronavirus stimulus bill. “A 2019 report from the Joint Committee on Taxation projected that of those who would face lower tax liability from elimination of the cap – which only affects those who itemize tax deductions – 94 percent earn at least $100,000,” Fox News reports. “The government would lose out on $77.4 billion in tax dollars, with more than half of that amount being saved by taxpayers earning $1 million or more.” The SALT cap, established by President Trump in 2017 as part of his tax reform law, sets the limit for deductions of state and local tax from federal taxes at $10,000. Many residents of states that routinely vote for Democrats dislike the limit. Pelosi says the move — which would include making it retroactive for the tax years of 2018 and 2019 — would give Americans “more disposable income, which is the lifeblood of our economy, a consumer economy that we are.” But Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said it’s a terrible idea. “This is a nonstarter. Millionaires don’t need a new tax break as the federal government spends trillions of dollars to fight a pandemic,” a spokesperson for Grassley told Fox. www.foxnews.com/politics/grassley-rips-pelosi-bid-to-roll-back-deduction-cap-millionaires-dont-need-a-new-tax-breakNew York, New Jersey, Maryland and Connecticut even sued to repeal the SALT cap, claiming that it unfairly hit blue states. That lawsuit was dismissed by a federal judge, and the states are appealing. Many wealthy residents have been moving out of those states and fleeing to states like Florida, which has no state income tax. Florida received more new residents than any other state last year, while New York’s outflows to the Sunshine State were the highest – 63,772 people. New York had the third-largest outflows of any state, with 452,580 people moving out within the past year. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin has suggested that if the states want to prevent this from happening, they should lower their taxes.

Botao Xiao and Lei Xiao wrote that the Wuhan Centre for Disease Control and Prevention was the possible source because it “hosted animals in laboratories for research purposes”, including bats, and was “within 280 metres of the Huanan Seafood Market where a number of early infections were reported”. In the paper, titled The possible origins of 2019-nCoV coronavirus, researchers explained that “41 people in Wuhan were found to have the acute respiratory syndrome and 27 of them had contact with Huanan Seafood Market”. They wrote: “According to municipal reports and the testimonies of 31 residents and 28 visitors, the bat was never a food source in the city, and no bat was traded in the market.” The research facility was also adjacent to the Union Hospital where the first group of doctors were infected.

Well, the truth came out: Furthermore, it was not revealed that she was in fact suffering for the last TWO years from an undiagnosed intestinal condition but her boyfriend lied and said she was perfectly healthy. She was a “Peace Corps Alumni.” The Sun Herald reported: www.sunherald.com/news/coronavirus/article241601491.htmlThe exact reason the woman, Natasha Ott, died remains under investigation by the Coroner’s Office, spokesman Jason Melancon said. Such investigations can take several weeks to complete. Ott’s death drew public notice when her boyfriend, Josh Anderson, wrote in a widely shared social media post that he had found her dead March 20 in her kitchen. Anderson recounted that an ailing Ott, after testing negative for the flu, had been tested for COVID-19 — the potentially deadly respiratory disease caused by the virus — but died before getting the results back. ......... So will any of the liberal news outlets correct their lies? It’s doubtful.

OANN is in the rotation of reporters who get to attend briefings but seem to think they get to play by different rules & put safety at risk. #COVIDー19” Statement by the WHCA: Turns out, she was there as a guest of the Press Secretary: Rion had a nasty note left on her desk in the White House basement earlier this month when she asked a question of President Trump that the press corps did not like.

Gavin Newsom told a press conference on Wednesday that the coronavirus crisis provided an opportunity to usher in “a progressive era” through policy changes that shift American society away from capitalism. A reporter with Bloomberg News asked Newsom whether he saw “the potential, as many others in the [Democratic] Party do, for a new progressive era, if you want to call it that, in national politics and policy … and whether there’s the opportunity for additionally progressive steps … on the national and state level.” The California Globe reported Newsom’s response: californiaglobe.com/section-2/gov-newsom-coronavirus-update-we-are-at-a-completely-different-place-than-the-state-of-new-york/The governor admittedly gave a long-winded answer which culminated in, “yes,” admitting there is political opportunity born out of the pandemic. “There is opportunity for reimagining a [more] progressive era as it [relates] to capitalism,” Gov. Newsom said. “So yes, absolutely we see this as an opportunity to reshape the way we do business and how we govern.” The question and answer are from 51:47 to 55:13 in the video below: U.S. House Majority Whip Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) said before the passage of the $2 trillion coronavirus relief bill last month: “This is a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.” Newsom has earned praise from President Donald Trump for his handling of the crisis — and vice versa.

thefederalist.com/2020/04/02/the-corporate-medias-coronavirus-propaganda-for-china-is-finally-catching-up-with-them/The Corporate Media’s Coronavirus Propaganda For China Is Finally Catching Up With Them Now that news of China's lies is beginning to seep out, will it make a difference? Will there even be corrections? Don't count on it. APRIL 2, 2020 By Christopher Bedford Beijing has lied about the coronavirus from the start, while here in the West our corporate media has actively and enthusiastically spread its lies to households across the free world. But now that news of China’s lies is beginning to seep out, will it make a difference? Will there even be corrections? Don’t count on it. Even before reports on incinerators “working around the clock,” massive orders for urns, government bribes to keep mourners quiet, and total government censorship, China’s lies were obvious. Even before China concealed the outbreak, blamed the U.S. military, and expelled foreign reporters, their lies were obvious. Their lies were so obvious because China is an authoritarian regime that history plainly documents killing and starving millions while lying about it to this day. The press should know this, and they do know this, yet still corporate news outlets unquestioningly repeat Beijing’s line. Then it all got a little confusing Wednesday, when Bloomberg reported both that the United States leads China in coronavirus cases and that China is concealing cases and deaths inside the country. “China has concealed the extent of the coronavirus outbreak in its country,” the latter story reads, “under-reporting both total cases and deaths it’s suffered from the disease, the U.S. intelligence community concluded in a classified report to the White House.” And there it is. The news certainly checks out with what reporters could have confirmed if they’d actually been reporting this past month. “We have people sending us a lot of material originating in Wuhan, especially, and also other places in China,” Marion Smith, executive director of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, told The Federalist. “Based on eyewitness accounts of situations in the hospitals and situations at the crematoria, and based on the evidence coming in, there’s many, many, many times the number of deaths than the official number. This is why last week, when China announced no new cases in Wuhan, we knew that was not true. … We have reports of folks in hospitals in Wuhan being told that they are not allowed to admit new coronavirus patients, and we have accounts that the individuals who pass away with coronavirus are not being tested prior to being sent to the crematorium.” Wednesday’s corporate revelation appears to travel slow, though. Hours and multiple updates after its publication, Bloomberg’s coronavirus guide still claims in the opening paragraph that “cases in the United States now exceed those in China.” Two weeks ago, Bloomberg reported that Europe also had exceeded China’s cases. No correction or editor’s note is attached to either article. No “without evidence” line — the one editors and reporters like to tack on to President Donald Trump’s every utterance to demonstrate their pious skepticism. Not even an asterisk. Think about that: Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa get harsher treatment than China’s dictator. Bloomberg News, notably, has a history of covering for Beijing and was allowed to keep its reporters in China when government authorities expelled The New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal in March. Maybe the government was confident those reporters wouldn’t start checking in on their numbers, preferring to wait for their U.S. government sources to spoon feed it to them. No surprise. Michael Bloomberg’s fortune is deeply entangled with China (and he knows it). But his company is not alone. CNN uncritically repeats China’s false statistics over and over again. NBC, MSNBC, BBC, The New York Times — the list goes on, all without corrections or updates. The corporate media’s trumpeting of foreign propaganda is especially eager when it hurts the president they don’t like. Outlets like Vox and BuzzFeed relentlessly attack Trump for not taking the coronavirus seriously enough early enough, but rushed to edit their past coverage that had authoritatively declared coronavirus less dangerous than the common flu. Vox, The New York Times and their television peers declare the president’s use of “Wuhan coronavirus” racist, while editing and forgetting past coverage that used “Wuhan coronavirus” or explained why so many pandemics come from that country. It’s not shocking. As the virus spread across the planet, and as Americans worked furiously to stave off a global depression, the corporate media made clear their top concern was that Trump was mean to their friend Peter. It’s a self-obsession thing: The story must be about them. But now the story really is about them. Will they have the guts to admit it?

The Greatest Generation indeed: www.oregonlive.com/coronavirus/2020/04/oldest-coronavirus-survivor-oregon-veteran-lives-to-celebrate-104th-birthday.htmlAn Oregon veteran who celebrated his 104th birthday Wednesday could be one of the oldest people in the world to survive the new coronavirus. William Lapschies, among the first Oregonians known to have the disease, has been declared free of the virus, said daughter Carolee Brown. “He is fully recovered. He is very perky,” Brown said. “And he is very excited.” Not only is Lapschies thriving, he basked in the attention as Brown and other immediate family members clustered in the morning outside his window at the Edward C. Allworth Veterans’ Home in Lebanon. They brought balloons and a double-layered cake. “Because he loves chocolate,” Brown said. A light blue surgical mask hid half his face but his eyes crinkled at the corners to show he was smiling as he talked to his family in a courtyard outside the nursing home’s common area. A caregiver had brought Lapschies out in a wheelchair to sit a proper distance away from the small semi-circle of people, but he still held forth, wearing a World War II veteran hat and dark blue jeans. “Woooo,” he exclaimed with raised curled hands. Lapschies (pronounced Lap’-shees) had a hard time hearing the family, but he was sharp and in a good mood. He spoke slowly. He laughed at just about everything. Asked how he kicked the virus, Lapschies paused, serious for half a beat. “Oh, it just went away,” he said, laughing again. Soon it was time to return to his room. “Bye-bye,” he said, his voice trailing off as a worker rolled him back. “Wooo!” Two of 15 residents at the veterans home who tested positive have died, as have dozens of people associated with an assisted living community near Seattle. Nearly 30 senior care homes in Oregon have reported at least one coronavirus case. Somehow, Lapschies made it. While U.S. studies show that up to about 27% of people over 85 with the coronavirus don’t make it, news reports from around the globe point to a handful of hardy survivors like Lapschies. A 95-year-old Yamhill County man, also a veteran, has survived. A 101-year-old man in Spain has survived, as have two 103-year-old women, one from China and one from Iran. There was a moment when it wasn’t clear if the Salem-born World War II veteran would ride out the infection. A few days after his March 10 diagnosis, a doctor at the nursing home, where Lapschies has lived for eight months, called Brown to say her father wasn’t doing well. Lapschies’ temperature had spiked and his breathing was labored. The doctor and Brown talked about end-of-life decisions. First thing the next morning, Brown drove the 28 miles from Lyons to Lebanon with her husband Jim Brown. Brown attributes her father’s survival to his outlook on life: “He has such an upbeat attitude. He’s never down.” Lapschies lived through another pandemic – he was born at Salem Hospital in 1916 and was 2 when influenza infected a third of the world’s population and killed at least 50 million people, including 675,000 in the United States. He grew up in Salem, married Alamadean “Deanie” Buetell in 1939 and was drafted into the Army in 1943, leaving behind Brown, who was born that same year, and an older daughter, Billie Jean, who was 2. He was stationed on a small island in the Aleutian Islands, where Brown said he helped dispatch trucks and heavy machinery. The family kept the list of those attending Wednesday’s party small so everyone could easily stay at least 6 feet away from each other. But, Brown said, her father’s 105th birthday party will be different. “We’re really going to have a big one,” she said.

Might be a good time to pull out of the failure that is the United Nations...... The WHO lied about the seriousness of the global coronavirus pandemic. The WHO praised China despite their continued lying. And WHO leader Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus then later created an international panic and global depression when he overstated the mortality rate of the COVID-19 pandemic. But now the WHO’s sister organization, the United Nations, believes they should be paid more after the pandemic. They want more power and cash — a LOT MORE power and cash. Secretary General Antonio Guterres announced his “shared responsibility, global solidarity” plan this week. These jackasses won’t even pay their parking tickets and they want more money. LifeSite News reported: www.lifesitenews.com/news/united-nations-wants-10-of-worlds-annual-income-in-fund-for-coronavirus-responseThe United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, has announced the creation of a fund for addressing the global coronavirus pandemic – and he is simultaneously asking nations to contribute the equivalent of at least 10 percent of the annual income of the entire planet to a massive “human-centered, innovative and coordinated stimulus package” that would be administered at the international level. Although Guterres doesn’t state it explicitly, he seems to be connecting the new fund, which he calls a “dedicated COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund,” with the massive stimulus package plan, announcing both measures in the same press release. If countries were to accept the plan, the United Nations or some similar coordinating agency would be given the equivalent of approximately 8.7 trillion USD, an unprecedented amount that would be 2,900 times greater than the UN’s annual budget of 3 billion USD. The proposed plan would effectively place a global agency, presumably the UN itself, in charge of propping up the economies of the world during the coronavirus crisis, placing it in charge of 10% of global income.

Diplomats from Nigeria, Indonesia and Brazil have dues ranging from $600 to nearly $900,000. Much of the debt dates back to the early 2000s, before mayor Michael Bloomberg cracked down on parking violations and unpaid fines.

dailycaller.com/2020/04/02/greg-gutfeld-suing-media-matters-employee-the-five-coronavirus-coverage/Greg Gutfeld Considering Suing Media Matters Employee Over ‘The Five’ Coronavirus Coverage Claim Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld is considering taking legal action against a Media Matters employee who accused him of lying about when “The Five” began to take the novel coronavirus threat seriously. The Twitter feud began March 31 after the left wing activist group’s deputy director of rapid response Andrew Lawrence posted a clip of Gutfeld talking about the virus on “The Five” Tuesday. I wonder, when ‘The Five’ sounded the alarm on the virus back in January, what was Chuck’s concern,” Gutfeld said in the clip. Lawrence tweeted that “Greg Gutfeld says Fox’s ‘The Five’ sounded the alarm on coronavirus back in January……BUT he’s lying” and promptly sparked a feud with the Fox News host. After numerous back and forths with Lawrence, commentator Dave Rubin chimed in and suggested Gutfeld get lawyer Harmeet K. Dhillon involved. “Just did!” Gutfeld replied. The decision to consider legal action came after Gutfeld told Lawrence numerous times to retract his claim and admit he lied. Gutfeld even referred Lawrence to a pinned tweet that shows a clip of “The Five” talking about the virus back in January. The January 28 segment that Gutfeld tweeted shows “The Five” talking about coronavirus and how important it is to take certain steps to slow the spread, such as issuing a travel ban on China. “It’s coming here unless you stop it,” Gutfeld said on January 28. “So, I do think we should consider a temporary travel ban [on China].” Lawrence has so far refused to retract his comment and apologize, doubling down on his original claim. The MMFA employee even furthered his claims by accusing “The Five” and Fox News’ coverage of the virus of being dangerous enough to get “people killed.” “The way your show and your network covered this from the beginning are going to get people killed,” Lawrence said in one of the many tweets. “Imagine being so foxed up to assert Fox always took seriously,” MMFA president Angelo Carusone tweeted about the news that Gutfeld may take legal action.
