www.dailywire.com/news/50496/warren-releases-massive-gun-control-plan-includes-frank-campOn Saturday, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) released her "plan for gun violence prevention." The senator’s plan, which was published on blogging platform Medium, includes over 30 bullet points relating to gun control (many of which are similar to other proposals from Democratic politicians), including a new "federal assault weapons ban," increased excise taxes on firearms (30%) and ammunition (50%), the banning of "high-capacity ammunition magazines," lengthening waiting periods for firearms purchases, and allowing "gun manufacturers" to be "strictly liable." Warren’s plan states that by increasing excise taxes, the United States can "reduce new gun and ammunition sales overall and to bring in new federal revenue that we can use for gun violence prevention and enforcement of existing gun laws." As for the new federal assault weapons ban, Warren’s plan would "require individuals already in possession of assault weapons to register them under the National Firearms Act." The plan would also enact a firearms buyback program that would impose "penalties" on gun owners who don’t register or turn in their "assault weapons." Warren doesn’t specify what "high-capacity" means, but states that Congress should determine "reasonable limits on the lethality of these weapons," which would presumably include a decision regarding what constitutes "high-capacity." Perhaps the most controversial aspect of Warren’s plan is the section on liability, which states in part that Americans should be able to "hold the manufacturer of the weapon that harmed them strictly liable for compensatory damages to the victim or their family." Gun manufacturers make billions in profit by knowingly selling deadly products. Then they are let completely off the hook when people take those deadly products and inflict harm on thousands of victims each year. State tort law already recognizes that certain types of products and activities are so abnormally dangerous that the entities responsible for them should be held strictly liable when people are injured. Congress should codify that same principle at the federal level for guns by creating a new private right of action allowing survivors of gun violence to hold the manufacturer of the weapon that harmed them strictly liable for compensatory damages to the victim or their family. Warren’s plan also demands a nebulous investigation into the National Rifle Association (NRA), the reporting of multiple firearms purchases, the creation of a "federal licensing system," raising the age limit on firearm purchases, banning the sale of firearms accessories, including suppressors, the implementation of so-called "universal background checks," limiting the number of guns bought by Americans to one a month, enacting "extreme risk protection laws," making colleges and universities "gun-free zones," and providing an annual $100 million to "conduct research into the root causes of gun violence and the most effective ways to prevent it." In her conclusion, Warren writes that the "conversation about gun violence in America is shifting," and proceeds to blame the NRA, as well as President Donald Trump for his "extremist rhetoric" and "dangerous policies." As Warren's "I have a plan for that" strategy continues, her stock appears to be rising, as the latest RealClearPolitics polling average has her eclipsing Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for the second place spot behind former Vice President Joe Biden in the Democratic presidential race.

Google/Tech bias in elections related: saraacarter.com/exclusive-google-insider-turns-over-950-pages-of-docs-and-laptop-to-doj/amp/?__twitter_impression=trueGoogle CEO Sundar Pichai told the House Judiciary Committee in December, 2018, that the search engine was not biased against conservatives. Pichai explained what algorithm’s are said Google’s algorithm was not offensive to conservatives because its artificial intelligence does not operate in that manner. He told lawmakers, “things like relevance, freshness, popularity, how other people are using it” are what drives the search results. Pichai said even if his programmers were anti-Republican, the process is so intricate that the artificial intelligence could not be manipulated and it was to complicated to train the algorithm to fit their bias… …“I honestly think that a free market can fix this issue,” he told this reporter at a meeting in Washington D.C. “The issue is that the free market has been distorted and what’s happened is that the distortion is so grotesque and the engineering is so repulsive, all we need to do is just expose what’s going on. People can hear that it is bad but that can be bias. But when they see what Google has actually written with the documents, this will actually be taught in universities of what totalitarian states can do with this type of capability.”
“It will be so revolting that it doesn’t matter what the solution is, a solution will just form as a reaction to this manipulation they have done,” the Google insider said.

pjmedia.com/trending/socialism-label-still-a-drag-at-the-ballot-box/Socialism' Label Still a Drag at the Ballot Box Recent polling appears to show that "socialism" does not carry quite the stigma that it did a generation ago. In fact, for Democratic primary candidates, it could be a plus. A 2018 poll by Gallup shows that 57% of Democrats have a positive view of socialism. A Pew poll from June, 2019 shows Millenials split almost 50-50 on approval of socialism vs. capitalism. But those polls may be misleading. An interesting survey conducted by the American Action Network gave some nuance to the question and came up with some surprising results. Washington Times: The AAN had the Tarrance Group poll 1,000 people in 30 congressional districts. To some, it posed questions with about a policy such as the Green New Deal and labeled it as socialist, while in other cases the socialist label was absent. It made a difference. “Highlighting the liberal view as ‘socialist’ creates +10 points of net movement toward the conservative view and away from the liberal view in a split sample,” the Tarrance Group pollsters said. Much of that was Democrats souring on proposals when they were labeled socialist. Socialism in the abstract appears far more desirable than the reality of it. In terms of practical politics, it may be easier for GOP candidates to tie the label "socialist" to Democrats by identifying certain policies as "socialist." Further, the wide disparity between Republicans and Democrats on having a positive view of "socialism" makes it easier to use the issue as a wedge. This will almost certainly aid Trump in his re-election bid, as Democrats have left themselves wide open on the issue because high-profile personalities like AOC and Bernie Sanders identify as "socialists." A poll conducted by Axios highlights the Democrats' dilemma. RealClear Politics: In response to this trend, economists Robert Lawson and Benjamin Powell recently discussed their new book, “Socialism Sucks: Two Economists Drink Their Way Through the Unfree World,” at the Cato Institute. Powell said it’s not surprising that socialism is popular now in the United States, though he added that this favorability comes from an illusion. Much of America’s youth, Powell continued, has been led into a state of confusion by Sen. Bernie Sanders, who has repeatedly cited Nordic countries as examples of socialism. “When you hear Bernie and others say this, they don’t mean real socialism in the way that Bob and I defined the term of the government owning most of the means of production,” Powell said. “However, Bernie and AOC and the rest of them do want to march you down the road of serfdom … moving to Medicare for All.” After visiting Sweden, Lawson and Powell concluded that it’s more capitalist than socialist. They continued on their exploration to Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, China, Russia, Ukraine, and Georgia – all places where socialism does or has existed to varying degrees. Finally, Lawson and Powell made their way back to a convention in Chicago for “the largest gathering of American socialists” on the weekend of Independence Day. "Real" socialists despise Bernie Sanders and AOC. They disparagingly refer to their views as "socialism-lite." Indeed, neither Sanders nor Ocasio-Cortez appears to embrace the classical definition of "socialism," where government controls not just the means of production, but capital as well. They appear to accept capitalism's advantages in creating wealth, but seek to use the power of government to "redirect" wealth into social services. They don't want to kill the goose that laid the golden egg. They only want to pluck its feathers and gut it. The label "socialist" may not be as poisonous as it once was, but Trump and the Republicans have a glorious opportunity. Millennials may have a more positive attitude toward "socialism," but they don't vote in near the numbers of Americans over the age of 55. A candidate who can paint a dire picture of America under socialism -- and connect their Democratic opponent to radicals in their party -- stands a much better chance of winning in November 2020.

www.breitbart.com/tech/2019/08/14/project-veritas-google-whistleblower-on-going-public-i-saw-something-dark-and-nefarious-going-on/A Google whistleblower has gone public with claims of election manipulation and political bias, according to investigative journalism group Project Veritas, which posted a trove of over 950 documents provided by Google insider Zachary Vorhies, who says he has come forward because he “saw something dark and nefarious going on with the company and I realized that they were going to not only tamper with the elections, but use that tampering with the elections to essentially overthrow the United States.” Project Veritas has released yet another report about tech giant Google, this time a Google insider named Zachary Vorhies has gone public with claims that Google planned to tamper with U.S. elections. Vorhies turned over a trove of documents to Project Veritas and has reportedly given over 950 documents to the Department of Justice’s Antitrust division.Vorhies told Project Veritas: I gave the documents to Project Veritas, I had been collecting the documents for over a year. And the reason why I collected these documents was because I saw something dark and nefarious going on with the company and I realized that there were going to not only tamper with the elections, but use that tampering with the elections to essentially overthrow the United States. Project Veritas leaked a number of internal Google documents in June which revealed “algorithmic unfairness” in search rankings, now Vorhies is claiming that these documents were widely available to Google employees: These documents were available to every single employee within the company that was full-time. And so as a fulltime employee at the company, I just searched for some keywords and these documents started to pop up. And so once I started finding one document and started finding keywords for other documents and I would enter that in and continue this cycle until I had a treasure trove and archive of documents that clearly spelled out the system, what they’re attempting to do in very clear language. The documents provided by Vorhies contain a number of files of concern for conservatives, one of which is called “news black list site for Google Now” which Vorhies alleges is a “blacklist” that restricts certain websites from appearing on news feeds for some Android Google products. The list includes a number of both conservative and leftist websites including newsbusters.org and mediamatters.org. The document states that some sites are added to the list because of a “high user block rate.” Another document titled “Fringe ranking/classifier: Defining channel quality” compiles a ranking of various news sites by their level of trustworthiness. In the sample ranking showed, the most trusted site appears to the Wall Street Journal while the Next News Network is the least trustworthy ranking just below Alex Jones. Breitbart News is ranked above YouTube commentator Philip DeFranco, the Huffington Post, and The Young Turks, but below Russia Today America and CNN. Another document titled “Fake news & other fringe: Trashy recap” claims that videos on Google’s platforms are rated by multiple “human raters.” Another internal document labeled “coffee beans” allegedly shows Google employees discussing diversity hiring practices at the firm. An internal thread of communications including with the firm appears to show a discussion about the document between employees, one of whom worries that the document appears to “misrepresent Google’s hiring practices in a way that could raise legal questions…” Another internal discussion thread appears to show Google employees discussing how best to change the translation of President Trump’s infamous “covfefe” tweet. Vorhies told Project Veritas that he hopes more Google workers come forward to discuss the practices of big tech firms. Vorhies stated: My message to those that are on the fence is I released the documents. They can go in, they can see everything that Google is doing and then they can see the scale of it. Because I think that there’s a lot of engineers that have a hint that things are wrong, but they don’t understand the colossal scale that it’s at. And so for those people, I say, look at the documents, take the pulse of America, see what’s happening and come and tell the world you know what you already know to be true. President Trump rally in New Hampshire:
8:42 PM: Trump says all Democrats want to give illegal immigrants “free welfare” while Republicans believe it should be reserved for needy citizens. Trump now speaks about needing an immigration system that puts American workers and families first. Trump says Democrats must support Voter ID laws to protect the integrity of elections. Trump mocks Democrats for wanting to protect elections and refusing to support Voter ID laws.
8:39 PM: Trump says China needs to criminalize the production of fentanyl. He says Democrats want open borders. “They don’t mind crime. We do mind crime. And that’s the way it is.” Trump says Democrats also support sanctuary cities.
Crowd chants “Build the Wall” after Trump speaks about the opioid crisis.
8:32 PM: Trump says “it’s not the gun that pulls the trigger. It’s the person holding the gun.” Huge roars from the crowd. He wants more mental institutions to open. He says guns need to be kept out of the hands of “insane people.”
8:31 PM: Trump hammering the America-first theme that endeared him to so many disaffected voters:
“Globalism enriches foreign countries at our expense,” Trump says. “I’m the president of the United States of America. I’m not the president of the world.” He says so long as he is president, America “will never bow” to foreign nations as the country had been doing “for so many years.” He rips past leaders for following the advice of naive editorial boards like the Wall Street Journal’s.
8:29 PM: Trump mocks Omar (says he is opening up mines in Minnesota and wonders if Omar could) but immediately talks over the boos.
8:25 PM: Crowd chants “USA!” after Trump says he is standing up for American jobs. He says the “forgotten men and women” in American “will never be forgotten” again.
He rips Obama and “Sleepy Joe” for backing the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). He says he was proud to withdraw the U.S. from the job-killing catastrophe and is imposing “beautiful tariffs.”
8:20 PM: Trump rips politicians who shipped away jobs, shed our sovereignty, surrendered our dignity and saddled our nation in one foreign debacle after another. He says politicians claimed to be for the American worker and then went to Washington and were bought off by special interests and sold out Americans.
Trump also says his campaign is fueled by small-dollar donations, which makes his campaign different from other Republican campaigns.
Trump says “nobody took it worse than New England” re: NAFTA and bad trade deals.
8:15 PM: Trump hypes Lewandowski’s potential Senate candidacy.
8:10: PM: Trump says poll numbers in Iowa are going up because Democrats are campaigning there.
“Wherever they go, our numbers go up,” Trump says of the far-left Democrats running for president.
8:05 PM: Trump credits Ronna McDaniel for helping him win Michigan when Democrats thought it would be impossible. He says he should have won New Hampshire but it was “taken away” and it’s “not your fault.”
8:00 PM: Trump says the MAGA movement is built on love. People who love the flag and freedom and country. He says they are united by the belief that the nation must first protect its own citizens–“America first.”
7:58 PM: Trump whacks the left for tearing America apart and vilifying anyone who disagrees with them. He says the radical Democrats “slander our law enforcement heroes” and claim the border patrol is running “concentration camps.”
Rally is interrupted by protester after Trump talks about Democrats who only want to “rage and resist” and look down on regular Americans.
Trump says the protester has a “serious weight problem” and needs to “start exercising.” Trump says he has a bigger problem than he does.
7:56 PM: Trump says he’s very proud that the unemployment rates for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans are at historic lows. Loud cheers as Trump says we are all the children of God.
7:55 PM: Trump says New Hampshire has the lowest unemployment rate in 31 years and wonders how anyone in the Granite State could vote for someone else. “I don’t think that’s gonna happen, folks,” Trump says.
7:51 PM: Trump says Obama is more popular than he is in Germany and says he would not be doing his job right if he were more popular than Obama abroad. He then says more than 7 million Americans have been lifted off of food stamps since he took office.
7:48 PM: Trump says New Hampshire is like “central casting” for the closing of factories before he won in 2016. Trump says “everything we had was depleted” and now “we’ve rebuilt our military like never before.”
Trump says America was disrespected abroad and “they don’t disrespect us anymore, folks.” Trump brags about getting delinquent European nations to pay their fair share for NATO. Trump now whacks the Obama administration for paying Iran billions in cash and getting nothing in return. He says Iran now wants to make a deal because the “sanctions are not good for them” and “they are not happy.” He says America has the “hottest economy anywhere in the world.”
“America is working again. America is winning again. America is respected again,” Trump says.
7:42 PM: Trump says the the group of “socialists or communists” taking over the Democrats is not far away. He asks if they want to pay 90%+ in taxes. Trump says his Pocahontas attacks can be “revived very quickly” and “we’ll have some fun” in the Granite State if Warren is the nominee. He polls the crowd re: MAGA vs. KAG. Crowd cheers for latter and Trump holds up a “Keep America Great” red hat.
Trump says the “Socialists want to take it away.”
He says China wants to make a deal but he may not be ready to make a deal with them. Trump claims China’s devaluation will hurt China…
He then calls out the “fake news” as the crowd boos and chants “CNN Sucks!”
(Campaign rally or Thursday Night Smackdown!?)
7:38 PM: Trump asks: “Is there anything better than a Trump rally?”
Crowd boos when Trump mocks Sleepy Joe’s rally. He says he sorta hopes that it will be Biden. Trump, now playing political pundit, says Pocahontas is rising, Kamala is falling, and Beto is gone. He says Sleepy Joe “may limp across the finish line.”
Trump mocks the New York Times for “all the news that’s not fit to print” and the demotion of one of their deputy editors
Trump mocks Biden’s campaign for cutting back on his appearances because Biden has been “such a disaster.”
Trump mocks the New York Times for “all the news that’s not fit to print” and the demotion of one of their deputy editors 7:35 PM: Trump says he campaigned three years ago to “make America great again” and “that’s exactly what we’ve done.” He says MAGA is the greatest slogan in the history of politics.
7:31 PM: Trump reminiscing about the New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary in 2016–“that was the beginning.” Trump says he is in Manchester to officially launch his New Hampshire campaign and immediately blasts the “fake polls” put out by the “fake news media.” Trump says he doesn’t think he is tied with three other Democrats because they only get hundreds of people at their rallies.
Trump says “the greatest political movement in the history of our country” started in New Hampshire.
7:30 PM: Trump appears on stage and is about to get the rally started.

9:05 PM: Trump wraps up the rally in what may be a must-win state. Trump made the economic case for his reelection earlier, saying: “Whether you love me or hate me, you‘ve got to vote for me.” Trump’s opponents in the media, like MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch, have been trying to shame Americans into voting against their economic interests and against Trump because Trump is a “racist” and “sociopath.”
9:01: Crowd chants “USA!” after Trump references the state’s “Live Free or Die” motto. 8:59: Trump claims the AIDS epidemic will “be gone” and “eradicated” within a decade. 8:57 PM: 2020: Trump says America will never be a socialist nation and says a vote for any Democrat is a vote “for the rise of radical socialism and the destruction of the American dream.”
8:51 PM: Trump says America has the most powerful nuclear capability and he hopes “we never have to use it.” He now pivots to the “stars and stripes” on Mars. 8:48 PM: Trump blasts radical pro-abortion Democrats for believing in “ripping babies straight from the mother’s womb… right until the moment of birth” and hits Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam for supporting “executing” babies after they are born.

news.yahoo.com/u-presidential-candidate-cory-booker-100612358.htmlU.S. Senator Cory Booker on Thursday said he would create a White House office to combat white supremacy and hate crimes if elected, becoming the latest Democratic presidential candidate to call for action after a racially motivated massacre in Texas. Booker said he would also require the FBI and the Justice Department to allocate the same level of resources and attention to white supremacist-inspired violence as they devote to international terrorism. The New Jersey senator announced his plan less than two weeks after a gunman in El Paso, Texas, killed 22 people inside a Walmart after posting an anti-immigrant screed online that echoed some of President Donald Trump’s heated rhetoric. The attack was among three mass shootings in the span of a week that killed 34 people in all. The incidents have roiled the presidential race, with Democrats accusing Trump, a Republican, of fomenting hatred while failing to embrace common-sense gun restrictions. Several candidates, including Senator Kamala Harris on Wednesday, have released plans to fight gun violence and white supremacy in the days since the El Paso massacre.

www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/08/15/donald-trump-rips-democrats-for-calling-supporters-nazis/President Donald Trump criticized Democrats on Thursday for describing him and his supporters as “Nazis.” “They view everybody as fascist and Nazis,” Trump said. “They use that term Nazi. This was a term, you could not even use it, now they use it on, like, a regular basis.” Trump pointed out that Democrats (like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) accused the border agents of running “concentration camps” despite their “heroic” efforts to secure the border. “They do an incredible job,” he said, referring border agents. The president spoke about Democrats during his political rally in New Hampshire, where thousands of supporters cheered his political message. He criticized Democrats for refusing to fix the immigration and asylum loopholes to keep out illegal immigrants. “They look down upon the hard-working citizens who truly make our country run,” he said. Trump described his supporters as the “greatest political movement in the history of this country” and said that it was built on “love.” “Our movement is built on love, we love our families, we love our faith, we love our flag, and we love our freedom, that’s what it’s about,” he said, adding, “We love our neighbors and we love our country.” He repeated his dedication to the United States and its citizens first. “We have to take care of our own,” he said. “You haven’t heard that from a politician or a political leader in a long time. It’s called America First.” During his speech, a protester interrupted and was quickly shouted down by the president’s supporters with chants of “USA!” “That guy has a serious weight problem,” Trump said, as the protester was ushered out of the arena. “Go home, start exercising … he’s got a bigger problem than I do. Get him out of here please.”

Wouldn't this be disqualifying for office,(as it is known aiding and abetting known criminals)? www.foxnews.com/politics/buttigieg-phone-tree-ice-raidsButtigieg reportedly helped create a phone tree to alert families about ICE raids South Bend, Indiana mayor Pete Buttigieg reportedly helped create an alert system that would notify families if Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raided his residents’ homes or businesses. The “phone tree,” according to The Daily Beast on Wednesday, was one of several actions Buttigieg took to protect illegal immigrants in his town. Phone trees consist of an automated calling system that helps spread messages quickly and efficiently. Those would presumably help alert immigrants to the type of surprise raids that resulted in nearly 700 arrests in Mississippi. His approach to immigration came under legal scrutiny when Judicial Watch, a right-leaning organization, sued the city over a “Community Resident Card” program that Buttigieg reportedly developed with the help of La Casa, a left-wing, pro-immigration group. .......... Also, the town he is in charge of is going downhill fast: www.foxnews.com/politics/south-bend-cops-warn-of-wild-west-after-spate-of-shootings-amid-rift-with-buttigiegSouth Bend cops warn city becoming ‘Wild West’ amid spate of shootings, rift with Buttigieg As Mayor Pete Buttigieg was hitting the presidential campaign trail in Iowa last weekend, back home in South Bend, Ind., the city was plagued by a spate of shootings – with police officers warning of plummeting morale and a worsening situation on the ground. “It’s crazy, it’s like the Wild West out there,” South Bend Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) President Harvey Mills told Fox News in an interview Tuesday, suggesting criminals are taking advantage of a demoralized and short-staffed police department. ....... Kudos on the record Mr. President. www.breitbart.com/2020-election/2019/08/15/trump-new-hampshire-speech-broke-elton-johns-arena-attendance-record/President Donald Trump announced Thursday evening that his re-election campaign rally at the SNHU Arena broke the stadium’s previous attendance record, held by rock star Elton John. The SNHU Arena holds nearly 12,000 people, and was nearly filled to capacity when the U.S. Secret Service closed the doors. Thousands more people watched the president’s speech on giant television screens outside the arena. Trump tweeted news about the attendance record shortly after the event was over. He spoke for nearly two hours. There were several hundred left-wing protesters, too, some of whom formed a gauntlet that forced Trump supporters to walk past crowds of people shouting “Shame!” — a potentially dangerous situation, though there was no violence. Several “peacemakers” were visible in orange jerseys, ostensibly to prevent clashes between the two sides. Inside the arena, President Trump emerged to an ear-splitting, raucous welcome that lasted several minutes. Trump focused on listing the achievements of his administration, both for New Hampshire and for the country as a whole. “The United States right now has the hottest economy anywhere in the world,” he said. “America is working again, America is winning again, and America is respected again — respected like never before.” The president joked that voters had “no choice” but to vote for him because if they did not, the financial markets would crash and the economy would suffer. “Whether you love me or hate me, you gotta vote for me,” Trump said. He touted the drop in the unemployment rate in New Hampshire, noting that it was the lowest in 31 years, and predicting that it would soon be the lowest in history. Before that, he said, New Hampshire was “like central casting for the closing of factories.” Now, however, jobs had returned to the state. He also noted his administration’s progress in fighting the opioid crisis, which had been a focus of his campaign in the Granite State in 2016. Trump also hit Democrats over their radical proposals on energy. “We ended the last administration’s cruel war on American energy … the United States is now the number one producer of oil and natural gas in the world,” he said. He also noted: “Every leading Democrat has promised to abolish the coal, oil, and natural gas that are fueling our economic boom.” He added that “Every Democrat also wants to give illegal aliens free welfare,” noted that “every Democrat also supports late-term abortion,” and warned that Democrats would be running on “socialism” in 2020. A vote for Democrats, he said, was “a vote for socialism and a vote for the desrutction of the American dream.” The president also hit back at criticism by the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal over his policy of confronting China over trade. “They understand nothing about trade or business — nothing,” he said of the Journal. Trump also went through the list of Democratic contenders, commenting on their prospects. “Pocahontas [Elizabeth Warren] is rising … Kamala is falling … but I don’t know, Sleepy Joe [Biden] may be able to limp his way across the finish line.” Democrat Hillary Clinton won the state in 2016, but Trump came close, recalling that he held his second-to-last rally of the campaign there, before flying to Michigan for a rally after midnight on Election Day. He poked fun at Biden over a report that allies were encouraging him to make fewer appearances to minimize the chance of gaffes. As he has done at other rallies, Trump asked the crowd to choose between his 2016 slogan, “Make America Great Again” — “the greatest slogan in the history of politics” — and his new slogan, “Keep America Great.” (The latter won.) By far, the loudest applause lines of the night were for Trump’s defenses of the Second Amendment. “There is a mental illness problem that has to be dealt with. It’s not the gun that pulls the trigger, it’s the person holding it,” he said. Trump also criticized Democrats who have used the term “Nazi” to attack his administration, particularly on the issue of mass shootings. “They use the term Nazi — this was a term, you couldn’t even use it — now they use it on a regular basis,” he said. “They accuse our border agents of running concentration camps — when they do an incredible job,” he added, referring to recent comments by first-term “democratic socialist” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The rally was largely peaceful, though there were two scuffles in the upper deck. As one man was ejected by law enforcement, Trump quipped: “That guy’s got a serious weight problem. Go home, start exercising. … He’s got a bigger problem than I do.” The audience appeared to enjoy the event. One local man — who would not give his name — told Breitbart News that he hoped Trump would win the state in 2020, though “we got a lot of loony liberals comin’ up from Mass.”

Hey, someone is finally investigating China Joe for one of his deals: www.breitbart.com/2020-election/2019/08/15/senate-finance-committee-probes-biden-linked-chinese-military-boosting-tech-sale/Senate Finance Committee Probes Biden-Linked, Chinese Military-Boosting Tech Sale ....... The Senate Finance Committee is probing the Obama administration’s 2015 decision to approve the sale of a U.S. company with insight into “military applications” to the Chinese government and an investment firm run by former Vice President Joe Biden’s youngest son, Hunter Biden. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), the committee’s chairman, sent a letter to the Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin on Thursday requesting documents relating to the sale of Henniges, a Michigan-based automotive company, to Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) and Bohai Harvest RST (BHR). The latter was formed in 2013 by a merger between a subsidiary of the Bank of China and Rosemont Seneca, a firm started by Hunter Biden and Chris Heinz, the stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry. Since AVIC was a subsidiary of the Chinese government and Henniges, the producer of “dual-use” anti-vibration technology with military application, the deal required approval from the Obama administration’s Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). The panel — made up of representatives from 16 different federal bodies, including the departments of State, Treasury, and Defense — is required to review any transaction that could lead to a foreign person gaining control of an American business. In question is whether CIFUS was influenced by Obama administration officials, most notedly Joe Biden and John Kerry, who had an interest in seeing the deal move forward. “The direct involvement of Mr. Hunter Biden and Mr. Heinz in the acquisition of Henniges by the Chinese government creates a potential conflict of interest,” Grassley wrote. The senator noted in his letter that AVIC’s bid for Henniges should have immediately set off alarm bells in the Obama White House. In 2007, AVIC “reportedly involved in stealing sensitive data regarding the Joint Strike Fighter program,” which it later “reportedly incorporated … into China’s J-20 and J‑31 aircraft.” Even more troubling, however, is that bid was facilitated at the same time China was staking out a more adversarial role in global affairs. At the time, Beijing was suspected of undermining U.S. cybersecurity by underwriting hackers stealing governmental data. There was also simmering tension over disputes in the South China Sea. Despite the threat to national security, the $600 million deal was approved by CIFUS, with AVIC purchasing 51 percent of the company and BHR taking ownership of the other 49 percent. Upon purchase, an industry newsletter stated the deal was the “biggest Chinese investment into US automotive manufacturing assets to date.” In his letter to Mnuchin, Grassley compared the deal to the Uranium One scandal, which arose when former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton approved the sale of a Canadian mining company to Rosatom, the state-owned Russian nuclear energy conglomerate. It later emerged that both investors in the company and Russian energy officials had donated heavily to the Clinton Foundation. “As with the Uranium One transaction, there is cause for concern that potential conflicts of interest could have influenced CFIUS’ approval of the Henniges transaction,” Grassley wrote. “Accordingly, Congress and the public must fully understand the decision-making process that led to the Henniges approval and the extent to which CFIUS fully considered the transaction’s national security risks.” This is not the first time that Hunter Biden’s ties to China have caused grief for his father’s political career. As Peter Schweizer, a senior contributor at Breitbart News, revealed in his bestselling book Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends, Hunter Biden signed the $1.5 billion deal creating BHR in 2013 only ten days after visiting China aboard Air Force Two with his father.

Leftists won't like this truth about their progressive policies: thefederalist.com/2019/08/16/study-shows-mathematically-impossible-fund-lefts-welfare-state-soaking-rich/Study Shows It’s Mathematically Impossible To Fund The Left’s Welfare State By Soaking The Rich AUGUST 16, 2019 By Tristan Justice A new study released Wednesday demonstrates it is mathematically impossible to pay for the fairytale socialist wish list paraded by Democratic candidates running for president without dramatically raising taxes on the middle class. The study conducted by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative D.C.-based think tank, illustrates the implausibility of financing a leftist agenda that includes socialized medicine, a “Green New Deal,” a universal basic income, tuition-free college, and other programs that left-wing candidates have proposed. David Burton, the author of the study, wrote that “even using lower cost estimates, confiscating every dollar earned by every taxpayer with incomes of $200,000 or more would only pay for about half of the progressive agenda.” In other words, even when low-balling the costs of socialist programs, the government cannot finance them by only taxing the wealthy. Burton estimates that the programs pushed by Democrats would cost U.S. taxpayers at least $48 trillion in additional spending over ten years, nearly doubling current federal expenditures. The programs could cost as much as an additional $92 trillion under higher estimates. “The reality is that progressive promises can only be funded by radical tax increases on the middle class, a dramatic increase in annual federal deficits and the national debt, or a combination of the two,” Burton wrote. Burton points out that federal borrowing is already dangerously high, creating a huge drag on economic growth and deepening the inevitable debt crisis America’s middle class must already bail out one day soon. “Progressive policies, if enacted and debt-funded, would dramatically accelerate the day of reckoning,” Burton wrote in the report. “When the inevitable debt crisis occurs, taxes on the middle class will have to be raised radically.” Even if all income more than $200,000 earned by individuals and businesses were seized by the federal government over the next ten years, Democrats’ agenda would still fall between $13.2 to $67.8 trillion short in required funds. While the 2020 Democratic presidential field includes candidates who call themselves moderates, the farthest-left candidates endorsing the most fully socialist proposals have consistently been leading the pack. The race’s front-runner, former vice president Joe Biden, presents himself as one of the moderates but a look at his policies shows him much farther left, even among Democratic voters, on issues including border security, abortion, and nationalized medicine. Yet each centrist candidate in the race who has criticized this leftward push by the pack leaders is polling less than 2 percent if even registering in the majority of polls aggregated by Real Clear Politics. The latest round of Democratic debates showcased the ideological divide among candidates. Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) both stood center-stage together to parry moderate attacks launched at their socialist proposals throughout the night. Former U.S. Rep. John Delaney and former Colorado governor John Hickenlooper led the criticisms of the senators’ proposals, calling them unrealistic and impractical. Both cautioned being so far out of step with the American electorate will only steer President Donald Trump back to victory for a second term in the White House. “You may as well FedEx the election to Donald Trump,” Hickenlooper said to the primetime audience. Hickenlooper ended up dropping out of the presidential race Thursday and is now contemplating a run against incumbent Republican Sen. Cory Gardner in his home state of Colorado, a prime target for Democrats in 2020. Delaney is certain not to qualify for the next round of Democratic debates held in September and October.

dailycaller.com/2019/08/16/trump-allies-speak-up-democrats-impeachment/Democrats are moving closer and closer to taking real steps to impeach President Donald Trump, which has prompted pushback from those close to the president during the August recess. Despite House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s reluctance to push for impeachment, there are currently 126 Democrats who support impeachment or an impeachment inquiry, compared to the 109 Democrats who don’t support impeachment or impeachment inquiry, yet. Pelosi has said she believes Trump is “goading” Democrats to impeach him from office because he thinks it will help him fire up his base. “Don’t tell anybody I told you this: Trump is goading us to impeach him,” Pelosi said in early May during an event hosted by Cornell University in New York City. “That’s what he’s doing. Every single day, he’s just like, taunting and taunting and taunting.” Pelosi has previously said Democrats should try to not focus on impeaching Trump, saying it could be a “gift to Republicans.” The speaker of the House also said impeaching Trump is “not a priority” after his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations in November 2018. Democrats plan to use the House Intelligence Committee to help guide a potential impeachment of Trump, according to Politico. Typically, impeachment proceedings are led by the House Judiciary Committee, led by New York Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler. Al Green, who broke with Pelosi when he vowed to force a vote to impeach Trump in late March. Green, who previously had two bills to impeach Trump overwhelmingly rejected by the House of Representatives, called for a third impeachment vote. Pelosi said impeachment was “just not worth it” in a March interview. The House of Representatives then voted in July against a measure to begin the impeachment process against Trump, the first necessary step to remove the president from office. (Photo By Tom Williams/CQ Roll Call) Many Republicans have said they have a hard time believing Pelosi’s impeachment comments. Those close to Trump, in Congress and on his campaign, say Democrats are desperate, looking for anything to grab on to after the Mueller report. Some believe Democrats will eventually jump on board the impeachment train as a party. “I’m sure at the convenient time she will reserve the right to change her mind,” Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn told The Daily Caller. (RELATED: Tlaib Says House Democrats To ‘Demand’ Move Towards Impeachment) “The main reason Chairman Nadler is pushing for impeachment is because that’s what he promised he would do if he was elected chairman of the Judiciary Committee. He and the pro-impeachment cohort know they have no case, given the fact that no investigation, not even the Mueller probe, turned up evidence for impeachment,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told the Daily Caller. “So Chairman Nadler and this Democrat majority know they are wasting Congress’ time and resources paid for by American taxpayers — demonstrating once again they are putting politics over people. Democrats, against the opinion of the majority of Americans, are going to push their impeachment narrative until President Trump is out office because they still can’t, and seemingly won’t ever, accept the outcome of the 2016 election,” McCarthy continued. Former deputy assistant to the president Sebastian Gorka told the Daily Caller that he believes Democrats are using impeachment as an attempt to overturn the results of 2016 presidential election, where Trump defeated Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. “First it was Russian ‘Collusion.’ After that collapsed, it was ‘He’s a Nazi!’ but America sees through that too. Still the Democrats speak of ‘impeachment.’ And for what crime? Because he beat Hillary,” Gorka told the Daily Caller. Texas Republican Rep. Chip Roy mentioned the current U.S. debt of $22 trillion and the crisis on the southern border to the Daily Caller when asked about Democrats’ continued efforts to impeach the president, saying Pelosi has lost control of her party. “Our nation is $22 trillion in debt, adding another $100 million an hour hour. Healthcare costs are skyrocketing. Dangerous Mexican drug cartels have operational control of our southern border. Nancy Pelosi has lost control of her conference to the far Left 4 speakers of the House and the fact of the matter is Democrats are more interested in playing the politics of impeachment than doing the work of the American people,” Roy told the Daily Caller. Wisconsin Republican Rep. Sean Duffy told the Daily Caller that Democrats are continuing to push divisive narratives in order to try to force the president out of office, mentioning the rise of socialism throughout the Democratic party. “Democrats have been trying to invalidate the last election since before President Trump was even took office. Now that the Mueller hearings showed that there was no collusion, their impeachment calls are desperate. Democrats have nothing to show for their majority except for hate, divisiveness and socialism,” Duffy told the Daily Caller. Meanwhile, The House has continued to push subpoenas on anyone close to Trump even after former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report found there was no collusion or obstruction between the Trump campaign and Russia, frustrating many Republicans who say the House is using its power to drag down the president before the 2020 election. (RELATED: Here’s What You Need To Know About House Democrats’ Subpoenas To Those Close To Trump) “The 2020 Democrat Candidates are failing miserably, the Russia Hoax has been fully debunked, and the desperate White Supremacy delusion is played out — impeachment is the only game they have left to play before they learn that the resistance is futile,” Katrina Pierson, a Senior Advisor for Trump 2020, told the Daily Caller. It appears increasingly clear that the president’s allies believe continued impeachment talk could be the best gift the Trump campaign can receive before the 2020 election.

www.breitbart.com/the-media/2019/08/18/fire-marshal-fact-checks-fake-news-about-trump-new-hampshire-rally-attendance/A fire department official in Manchester, New Hampshire, has confirmed President Donald Trump’s claim to have smashed attendance records at his rally at the SNHU Arena last Thursday, contradicting fake news about “empty seats.” Trump proclaimed last Friday that his rally, which filled the 11,700-seat arena and left thousands more supporters outside, had broken Elton John’s attendance record for the venue. But Trump critics circulated screenshots of empty seats behind the president and sent the hashtag “#EmptySeatsMAGATour” trending on Twitter. The hashtag was picked up by mainstream media outlets like The Hill, which reported the trend but did not bother to check the actual attendance, or compare the claims of Trump critics with reports from eyewitnesses. The Daily Mail confirmed with Manchester Deputy Fire Marshal Mitchell Cady that attendance in the arena was about 11,500, with 8,000 people standing outside. Elton John had drawn 11,300.www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7365155/Fire-marshal-says-Donald-Trump-DID-smash-Elton-Johns-attendance-record-New-Hampshire-arena.htmlThis reporter covered the rally in person. In addition to vendors setting up shop more than 17 miles away from the rally, there were many Trump supporters who camped out overnight to ensure they could enter the arena. Traffic to the venue was nearly impassable in places, and parking was almost impossible. The arena filled up hours before the speech began, and the Secret Service sealed the doors, preventing further entry. Thousands more gathered outside the arena to watch the speech on a giant screen.www.breitbart.com/2020-election/2019/08/15/trump-in-new-hampshire-vendor-17-miles-from-rally-venue-merch/One Trump supporter, Juliette Gardella, posted an account on Facebook of her experience at the rally, confirming that she and many others had camped out overnight. www.facebook.com/groups/OFFICIALWalkAwayCampaign/permalink/2674631972556694?sfns=moThere were a few empty seats in the far upper deck where visibility was poor, and partially obstructed by a large American flag. Many people simply made their way to parts of the arena where visibility was better. More did so as a few people left early — during a speech that lasted roughly two hours — to beat traffic. The idea that Trump had failed to fill the arena was never true, but was circulated by Trump’s opponents and by the mainstream media in a classic example of fake news.

freebeacon.com/issues/gillibrand-we-need-to-hold-israel-accountable/Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D., N.Y.) said Sunday that the United States needs to hold Israel “accountable” for barring two members of Congress from entering the country. “Should there be repercussions for Israel?” ABC’s This Week host Martha Raddatz asked. “I think as a friend and ally, we need to hold them accountable,” Gillibrand said. Last week, Israel denied entry to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) because of their support for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. President Donald Trump applauded Israel’s decision to deny entry to the two congresswoman while a bipartisan group of lawmakers criticized Israel’s decision.

amp.dailycaller.com/2019/08/18/mark-halperin-book-contributorsSeveral Democratic strategists contributed to journalist Mark Halperin’s new book discussing various ways to defeat President Donald Trump in 2020, Politico reported Sunday. Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod, former acting White House Communications Director Anita Dunn and former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee Donna Brazile were among 75 operatives who spoke with Halperin as the former NBC analyst fleshed out the details for his new book, “How To Beat Trump: America’s Top Political Strategists On What It Will Take.” They offered a variety of explanations for their decision. “I’m not the author. Ask Mark why he chose us,” Brazile told CNN’s Oliver Darcy Sunday. Long-time Democratic strategist, James Carville, said he discussed the election with Halperin because “the guy called me & asked me to speak to him on a topic that I obviously care about. And I spoke to him.” Others said they were concerned about one thing in particular: beating Trump. “Anita cares about beating Donald Trump, that is the only reason she participated,” a representative for Dunn’s firm, SKDKnickerbocker, told Darcy. Dunn’s group works with TimesUp, a movement against sexual harassment. Halperin has been out of the public eye since 2017 when several women accused him of sexual harassment and assault. He allegedly pressed his clothed erect genitals on women, groped women and masturbated in front a woman, all while serving in a senior position at ABC News. (RELATED: NBC News Severs Contract With Mark Halperin) Halperin’s book will be released in November 2019.
