Again, report it to the police, file a report & testify under penalty of perjury. Also, pass the bills to make their lives better & stop obstructing President Trump's agenda. Overall, not complicated.
Also, she has her phone with her, so she didn't take any pictures/video/etc of the conditions?

AOC's story already falling apart? www.dailywire.com/news/49059/ocasio-cortez-makes-wild-claims-about-cbp-facility-ryan-saavedraSocialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) made outrageous claims, without evidence, about her tour of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection immigrant detention facility which prompted an immediate response from officials who strongly disputed her claims. Ocasio-Cortez claimed without evidence that CBP officers told detained women to drink from the toilets if they were thirsty while Ocasio-Cortez stood there and witnessed it. "Just left the 1st CBP facility. I see why CBP officers were being so physically &sexually threatening towards me," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. "Officers were keeping women in cells w/ no water & had told them to drink out of the toilets. This was them on their GOOD behavior in front of members of Congress." Now I’ve seen the inside of these facilities. It’s not just the kids. It’s everyone. People drinking out of toilets, officers laughing in front of members Congress," Ocasio-Cortez, offering no evidence. "I brought it up to their superiors. They said 'officers are under stress & act out sometimes.' No accountability." Ocasio-Cortez's accusations received immediate push back from officials who were there and who spoke to border reporter Anna Giaritelli. "Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., screamed at federal law enforcement agents “in a threatening manner” during a visit to a U.S. Border Patrol facility in El Paso, Texas, Monday afternoon and refused to tour the facility, according to two people who witnessed it," Giaritelli tweeted. "13 other House Democrats as well as their aides were in the room. I'm told only Rep. Ocasio-Cortez reacted in this manner." "She comes out screaming at our agents, right at the beginning [of the tour] … Crying and screaming and yelling,” a witness told the Washington Examiner. "The agents, they wanted to respond, but they held back because she’s a congressional delegate. But when you have someone yelling at you in a threatening manner." "They were like, 'Hey, you need to kinda step back,'" the witness said. Daily Mail editor David Martosko later noted a photo from federal court that showed the inside of a detention cell and shows that the toilet is connected to a sink that says "potable water." Later Ocasio-Cortez claimed without evidence that she "was not safe from the officers in that facility."

So, AOC made up more bs for political points again. www.dailywire.com/news/49065/watch-ocasio-cortez-confronted-her-claim-migrants-ryan-saavedraSocialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) fled from a reporter on Monday when she was asked about her claim that detained female migrants were being forced to drink from toilets in a CBP facility. Ocasio-Cortez repeatedly made the claim on her Twitter account, without evidence, claiming that CBP officials were telling women to drink from the toilet while Ocasio-Cortez was standing there. "There's abuse in these facilities, this was [CBP officials] on their best behavior," Ocasio-Cortez told reporters following her visit. "These women were being told by CBP officers to drink out of the toilet. They were drinking water out of the toilet and that was them knowing a congressional visit was coming. This is CBP on their best behavior, telling people to drink out of the toilet." A reporter then confronted Ocasio-Cortez, asking: "Did you see somebody actually do that?" Ocasio-Cortez rolled up the window in the vehicle that she was in, put her hand up, refused to answer the question, and said, "I'm sorry I have to go." Ocasio-Cortez's unsubstantiated claim was met with instant pushback, as border reporter Anna Giaritell reported: "Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., screamed at federal law enforcement agents 'in a threatening manner' during a visit to a U.S. Border Patrol facility in El Paso, Texas, Monday afternoon and refused to tour the facility, according to two people who witnessed it." "13 other House Democrats as well as their aides were in the room," Giaritelli added. "I'm told only Rep. Ocasio-Cortez reacted in this manner."

Last night, on the Ingrahan Angle International Border Patrol Council VP Hector Garza called on the US Customs and Border Protection agency to release video of Ocasio-Cortez at the El Paso border facility.
Garza wants the video released to prove what AOC is saying is not truthful. Personally, I agree. Release the video and let the truth be known.

It gets better: Border Patrol Union VP Hector Garza joined Neil Cavuto on Tuesday morning to discuss the situation at the Border Patrol holding facilities. Hector Garza told Neil Cavuto: Speaking to agents that were at that facility, they say that AOC walked in there beginning a war against our agents. And just to let you know, Neil, there is footage where Ocasio-Cortez is actually going up to our agents and being very threatening and being very abusive with the border patrol agents. And that video is in the hands of CBP right now, the headquarters and we hope that CBP releases that footage. Release the video.

I honestly hope that they get the video. www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/aoc-screamed-at-border-patrol-agents-in-threatening-manner-during-tour-witnessesRep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., screamed at federal law enforcement agents “in a threatening manner” during a visit to a Border Patrol facility in El Paso, Texas, and refused to tour the facility, according to two people who witnessed the incident. A group of 14 House Democrats, including Ocasio-Cortez, and their aides kicked off their visit to the region at about 11 a.m. MST Monday at the El Paso Station on Hondo Pass Drive. The group was standing inside the station near an area where migrants are held when Ocasio-Cortez left them to sit inside a nearby holding area with a family as the other lawmakers and aides were briefed on station operations “She comes out screaming at our agents, right at the beginning [of the tour] … Crying and screaming and yelling,” said one witness who said he was stunned by the outburst in front of approximately 40 people. “The agents, they wanted to respond, but they held back because she’s a congressional delegate. But when you have someone yelling at you in a threatening manner … ” the same person said. “They were like, ‘Hey, you need to kinda step back.’” A second official said she went in and out of the cell during the group’s briefing nearby and returned to the group several times to share information she had learned from detainees, including that one person had drunk from a toilet. The congresswoman told the group she would not go with the 13 other House Democrats on the tour of the facility and stayed with the family. A second official said that while she was around agents, Ocasio-Cortez commented at another point about an unofficial Border Patrol Facebook page that was exposed earlier Monday for offensive content about those in custody and lawmakers, including the congresswoman. “Something under her breath, ‘Oh, all these guys in here are gonna f--k me.’ The agents are standing there behind the computers. One of the agents laughed at something he was saying to another agent, and she got irate and flipped out,” the second Border Patrol official said. “Now they’re under investigation for it. She took it as they were laughing at her and screams at them and says, ‘What’s so funny?’” CBP did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the internal affairs matter. The Border Patrol official said managers were in the process of taking statements from agents.
The Washington Examiner submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to CBP for video of the events. The congresswoman, who led a charge in 2018 to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement, recounted the scene differently in a social media post afterward and did not mention yelling at agents. “After I forced myself into a cell w/ women&began speaking to them, one of them described their treatment at the hands of officers as “psychological warfare” - waking them at odd hours for no reason, calling them wh*res, etc. Tell me what about that is due to a 'lack of funding?'” she wrote on Twitter. “Now I’ve seen the inside of these facilities. It’s not just the kids. It’s everyone. People drinking out of toilets, officers laughing in front of members Congress. I brought it up to their superiors. They said 'officers are under stress & act out sometimes.' No accountability,” she tweeted. “Just left the 1st CBP facility. I see why CBP officers were being so physically &sexually threatening towards me. Officers were keeping women in cells w/ no water & had told them to drink out of the toilets. This was them on their GOOD behavior in front of members of Congress.” The agent on scene said the congresswoman misrepresented why a person in custody had drunk from a toilet. “So this is what happened with the migrant and drinking water from toilet: she wanted water, didn’t know how to use the faucet in the cell, and drank from the toilet. She never told AOC that we made her drink from the toilet. AOC, of course, changed it … This was when she [the migrant] was apprehended and brought into the facility,” according to the agent. A Border Patrol official familiar with the sector’s media and congressional visits said the city’s congresswoman, Veronica Escobar, has been through stations “15 times” but did not respond in the same way as her colleague on Monday. Later in the visit, the first official said Escobar "yelled" at El Paso Chief Patrol Agent Aaron Hull about its care of detainees. “We’ve never hidden anything from her,” the official said.

The congresswoman's claim is false: No one has corroborated her claim that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers told detained women to drink water from toilets if they were thirsty, a claim that Ocasio-Cortez made earlier this week and initially refused to give details on when she was confronted.
Flashback: AOC denied there was a crisis for months.
Yesterday,(July 4):
Once again, Ocasio-Cortez is making a false claim about the situation. No members of Congress heard CBP officials tell women to drink water from the toilets.

Pictures/Video of "poorly attended" event:
With regards to AOC's claim that the government can’t afford toothpaste and soap for migrant children, that too is a flat out lie. Children do get soap and toothpaste in CBP custody. The lie is based on a DOJ lawyer arguing that the government is not required to provide such items to migrant children held for a only few hours at intake as their stay is so short.

Hispanic pastors contradict AOC & the MSM's "misinformation" on the border crisis. www.foxnews.com/politics/immigration-border-facility-aoc-hispanicRev. Samuel Rodriguez was "full of indignation" when he saw the reports and heard from politicians about the deplorable and inhumane conditions for illegal immigrants at an El Paso County, Texas migrant detention center. But what he saw at the same facility toured by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. with a group of pastors was "drastically different." The president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, the world's largest Hispanic Christian organization, and senior pastor of New Seasons Christian Worship Center in Sacramento shared his firsthand experience touring a migrant detention center during a press briefing Monday. AOC ALLEGEDLY SCREAMS AT FEDS DURING TEXAS VISIT, CLAIMS DETAINEES FORCED TO DRINK OUT OF TOILETS “I read the reports, saw the news clips. I just wanted to see what was actually happening in order to better enable our efforts to find a fair and a just solution to our broken immigration system," Rodriguez, who has advised President Trump and both Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush on immigration reform, noted. “To my surprise, I saw something drastically different from the stories I’ve been hearing in our national discourse. Even as a veteran of immigration advocacy in the U.S., I was shocked at the misinformation of the crisis at the border." The group of pastors saw a very different picture described by Ocasio-Cortez and other politicians and media outlets. TEXAS CITY TAKES DOWN CHURCH'S 'JESUS WELCOMES YOU TO HAWKINS' SIGN OVERNIGHT “We found no soiled diapers, no deplorable conditions and no lack of basic necessities,” Rodriguez remarked, adding he specifically asked border agents if they staged the facility in response to the negative press. “They unequivocally denied it — we were witnessing the identical conditions the attorneys saw when they toured the facility days earlier." In fact, some told him the sources from whom the negative coverage originated “never toured the areas of the facility that we toured” and speculated they might have had political motivations. WORSHIP LEADER PENNED THESE LYRICS FOR NORTH KOREA IN EXACT SPOT TRUMP WALKED ON The pastors left encouraged by the commitment and dedication of America’s Border Patrol and immigration officers, “many of which are Latinos, by the way.” He said one emotional Border Patrol agent turned to him and said, referring to the vilification: “Pastor Sam, what they’re saying about us is completely false. We care about these kids and have a passion for our calling.” Pastor Carlos Moran, NHCLC board member and immigrant, said, “we, as evangelical leaders that serve in different segments, are very committed to helping children regardless of their status and we commend those officers that are trying their very best to serve and fulfill their duty at the border. However, we do call on our political leaders to set aside their personal agendas and begin focusing on resolving this immigration crisis.” CATHOLIC BISHOPS GET BLOWBACK FOR STATEMENT ON TRUMP'S DEPORTATION THREAT Rodriguez points blame for that broken immigration system at consecutive White House administrations and especially both Democrats and Republicans in the U.S. Congress and implored each to “address the system they created.” CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP “What's heart-wrenching is that we have both Republicans and Democrats alike in Congress, who can't come together for the purpose of doing the right thing and finding a solution to our immigration crisis,” he said. “Please, President Trump, please White House, work with the Republicans and the Democrats [and] please, please, please, please, Nancy Pelosi, Kevin McCarthy, Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, please come together to solve this crisis, immediately.”

www.dailywire.com/news/49278/fight-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-and-nancy-pelosi-emily-zanotti?ampOver the weekend, the notoriously frosty relationship between Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and newcomer progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez turned heated after Pelosi lobbed a thinly-veiled insult at Ocasio-Cortez's Twitter politicking. On Friday, Pelosi aired a series of grievances in The New York Times, hitting back at Ocasio-Cortez and fellow progressives, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) for failing to fall in line behind the Democratic caucus and approve a $4.5 billion emergency spending bill aimed at addressing the humanitarian crisis at the southern border, even after the quartet complained loudly of the treatment asylum seekers were receiving. “All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world,” Pelosi said. “But they didn’t have any following. They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got.” Pelosi seemed particularly aggrieved by a statement, put out by the four women (among others) chastising Democrats for funding what they believe to be a murderous organization hellbent on destroying the lives of immigrants. "These radicalized, criminal agencies are destroying families and killing innocent children," the statement read, according to Fox News, and called on Congress to defund both Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection, ostensibly in pursuit of an "open borders" immigration policy. Pelosi brushed the plan off as absurd. "As I say to these people, come to my basement. I have these signs about single-payer from 30 years ago. I understand what they’re saying. But we have a responsibility to get something done, which is different from advocacy. We have to have a solution, not just a Twitter fight," she told the Times. "If the left doesn’t think I’m left enough, so be it." Ocasio-Cortez was clearly infuriated at Pelosi's comments, insisting that the four progressives had little support anywhere outside of social media and weren't pursuing an achievable agenda. On Sunday, she hit back, tweeting: It's not clear that the public supports Ocasio-Cortez's plan to end immigration control, but Ocasio-Cortez's feedback machine appears to be social media, which presents something of a skewed vision of "public sentiment." Ocasio-Cortez also criticized Pelosi for spending money on traditional advertising to gain support for Democratic proposals, seemingly of the opinion that social media is an easier and cheaper way to build a following. That might not be a great strategy for Ocasio-Cortez who is, reportedly, a bit in danger in her own district after failing to build a structured relationship with her Bronx constituents — or even open an office to address their concerns in person. One primary focus of elected officials should be fundraising, not just for themselves, but for the party (though, of course, as a member of Justice Democrats, Ocasio-Cortez is likely boycotting the party over its refusal to hire Justice Democrats or any of its associated arms). Still seething on Monday morning, Ocasio-Cortez fired at Pelosi head on. Again. Technically, the first quote is inaccurate — Pelosi actually said that a cup of water with a "D" on it could win Ocasio-Cortez's district once the primary was over — but the tweet still functioned like a progressive Bat Signal, and Ocasio-Cortez's progressive allies joined in. Rep. Ilhan Omar piled on on Twitter. Rashida Tlaib fired back on television, accusing Pelosi of "standing by" while "brown and black children are dehumanized." Pelosi has yet to respond.

www.dailywire.com/news/49279/trump-rips-aocs-green-new-deal-kill-millions-jobs-ryan-saavedraPresident Donald Trump slammed democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's (D-NY) Green New Deal on Monday while speaking at the White House on America's Environmental Leadership. Trump noted America's successes in leading the world in carbon emissions reductions while other signatories on the Paris Climate Accord have failed to deliver results. "And today, the United States is ranked — listen to this — number one in the world for access to clean drinking water — ranked number one in the world," Trump said. "One of the main messages of air pollution — particulate matter — is six times lower here than the global average. So we hear so much about some countries and what everyone is doing. We’re six times lower than the average. That’s a tremendous number." "Since 2000, our nation’s energy-related carbon emissions have declined more than any other country on Earth. Think of that. Emissions are projected to drop in 2019 and 2020. We’re doing a very tough job and not everybody knows it, and that’s one of the reasons we’re here today to speak to you," Trump continued. "Every single one of the signatories to the Paris Climate Accord lags behind America in overall emissions reductions. Who would think that is possible? For this reason, in my first year in office, I withdrew the United States from the unfair, ineffective, and very, very expensive Paris Climate Accord." Trump later slammed Ocasio-Cortez's far-left Green New Deal, which experts have estimated could cost up to $93 trillion over a 10-year period, a number that would likely bankrupt the United States. "While we're focused on practical solutions, more than 100 Democrats in Congress now support the so-called Green New Deal. Their plan is estimated to cost our economy nearly $100 trillion — a number unthinkable, a number not affordable even in the best of times," Trump said. "If you go 150 years from now and we've had great success, that's not a number that's even thought to be affordable. It'll kill millions of jobs, it'll crush the dreams of the poorest Americans, and disproportionately harm minority communities. I will not stand for it. We will defend the environment, but we will also defend American sovereignty, American prosperity, and we will defend American jobs."

www.dailywire.com/news/49280/ocasio-cortez-gets-smacked-meteorologist-over-ryan-saavedra?ampOcasio-Cortez Gets Smacked By Meteorologist Over ‘Climate Crisis’ Claims by Ryan Saavedra July 8, 2019 A prominent meteorologist once again threw water on wild claims being made by democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who claimed without evidence that a flood in Washington, D.C., was the result of "the climate crisis." Ocasio-Cortez made her remarks in response to a local area reporter who was reporting on heavy rain and some flooding that was occurring around the D.C. area. "Unprecedented flooding is quickly becoming a new normal. Despite that, Republicans are tripling down on fossil fuels w/no plan to transition off them, or make the critical infra investments we need to prep for the climate crisis," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. "Each day of inaction puts more of us in danger. Climate change intensifies flooding, wildfires, & extreme weather. It’s more than 1 day or 1 storm; it’s all of them. Places are flooding where they haven’t before; there are 90-degree days in Alaska in June. The GOP will mock & sow confusion until it’s their home swept away." Ryan Maue, who has a Ph.D. in meteorology, responded to Ocasio-Cortez in a series of social media posts, writing: "First a tornado and now a flash flood. The Congresswoman does not miss an opportunity to turn a weather event she experiences into a political statement and blame Republicans. She's right that cities need to invest in infrastructure but a slow-moving t-storm isn't 'climate.'" "Where do you start the conversation with this premise? AOC: 'It’s more than 1 day or 1 storm; it’s all of them. Places are flooding where they haven’t before; there are 90-degree days in Alaska in June. The GOP will mock & sow confusion until it’s their home swept away,'" Maue added in a follow-up tweet. "You should resist the emotional temptation to blame EVERY weather event on climate change. Consult the National Academies 'bubble chart' on our understanding & confidence of weather events + climate change: Severe convective storms = low confidence & low understanding," Maue continued. "Extreme rainfall is still low/medium confidence and medium understanding -- pretty clear that in a warmer world, rainfall extremes will increase. But, attributing an individual t-storm or slow-moving area of rain to climate change is (currently) beyond our capability." Maue concluded by tweeting a screenshot from the National Academies: Attribution of Extreme Weather Events in the Context of Climate Change, which stated: Severe convective storms: The committee is not aware of any attribution studies. Observations of both individual events and trends are problematic. Climate models do not resolve the events, and some phenomena (e.g., tornadoes) are not resolved even by the highest-resolution models in use for operational weather forecasting. Physical understanding of the events’ relationship to climate change is limited. Statistical or dynamic downscaling offers promise of improvement. Maue's response to Ocasio-Cortez's climate change claims came the same day that President Trump unloaded on her "Green New Deal." "While we're focused on practical solutions, more than 100 Democrats in Congress now support the so-called Green New Deal," Trump said in a speech at the White House on America's Environmental Leadership on Monday. "Their plan is estimated to cost our economy nearly $100 trillion — a number unthinkable, a number not affordable even in the best of times. If you go 150 years from now and we've had great success, that's not a number that's even thought to be affordable. New York GOP candidate Joey Saladino has filed a lawsuit against Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for blocking him on Twitter, following a decision from the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals that President Donald Trump cannot block people on social media because it is a public forum.
Saladino, better known as “Joey Salads” online, filed the lawsuit in the Southern District of New York on Tuesday.
“We do conclude,” the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals’ decision regarding Trump’s account began, “that the First Amendment does not permit a public official who utilizes a social media account for all manner of official purposes to exclude persons from an otherwise‐open online dialogue because they expressed views with which the official disagrees.”
Ocasio-Cortez blocked Saladino in May, shortly after he announced his candidacy, according to a press release from his campaign.
“I’m suing AOC because we need to be able to have a strong and vigorous debate between the parties, otherwise our fragile system of ideas and representation breaks down,” Saladino said. “Though she is not in a position of power, she is the voice of her generation of Democrat voters, and bigger than some of the Presidential candidates.”
“If we can’t talk to one another, the whole system breaks down.” Saladino continued. “Look what is happening in my district when entrenched NeverTrumpers are confronted by America First ideas. Like it or not we live in the same city and we need to be professional.”
The Staten Island native lists slowing economic opportunity for the area’s youth, ever increasing taxes, and the growing opioid addiction crisis as some of the top issues he will be addressing with his campaign. Prior to the start of his campaign, he was already well-known for his comedic videos running pranks on unsuspecting strangers. .......
It’s hilarious. The left sues President Trump because he bans them from his Twitter account,(since most are simply trolls looking to harass), they win in court, but it backfires on them because now they are held to the same standards.

amp.dailycaller.com/2019/07/10/ocasio-cortez-pelosi-racistNew York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez implied Wednesday that Nancy Pelosi is racist and said the House speaker has been “disrespectful” toward “newly elected women of color” in Congress. Ocasio-Cortez addressed in an interview with The Washington Post the growing rift between Pelosi and the progressive wing of the Democratic Party. Pelosi was quoted in a New York Times article on July 6 taking a thinly veiled shot at Ocasio-Cortez and several other freshman Democrats who voted against a bill to help migrants at the border. “All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world, but they didn’t have any following,” Pelosi said to The Times’ Maureen Dowd. “They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got.” (RELATED: Pelosi Speaks Out On Swipe At Ocasio-Cortez) Pelosi was referring to Ocasio-Cortez and Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, who are all minority women. Ocasio-Cortez told The Post that she initially believed Pelosi was employing a strategy to protect moderate Democrats. But she suggested she believes there could be a racial tinge to Pelosi’s repeated rebuke of Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow freshmen. When these comments first started, I kind of thought that she was keeping the progressive flank at more of an arm’s distance in order to protect more moderate members, which I understood. But the persistent singling out … it got to a point where it was just outright disrespectful … the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color,” she told The Post. Pelosi said earlier Wednesday she did not regret her initial remarks, saying: “I have no regrets about anything.” She also rebuked progressive Democrats in a private meeting Wednesday about their habit of criticizing moderate members on social media. “So, again, you got a complaint? You come and talk to me about it,” she told Democrats, according to Politico. “But do not tweet about our members and expect us to think that that is just OK.”

And she accuses Kellyanne Conway of being sexist towards her: www.dailywire.com/news/49327/patriarchy-has-no-gender-aoc-claims-conway-sexist-ryan-saavedraSocialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tried to claim that White House counselor Kellyanne Conway was being "sexist" toward her on Tuesday, and, when confronted by critics, claimed that "patriarchy has no gender." Ocasio-Cortez made the remarks while responding to a story from the New York Post that was featured in a tweet that stated: "Kellyanne Conway mocks 'huge catfight' between Pelosi and AOC." Ocasio-Cortez responded by tweeting: "'Catfight' is the sexist term Republicans use when two adult women happen to disagree with each other. The reason they find it so novel &exciting is bc the GOP haven’t elected enough women themselves to see that it can, in fact, be a normal occurrence in a functioning democracy." Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe responded to Ocasio-Cortez's obviously problematic tweet by tweeting to her: "Yes, Kellyanne is sexist towards women. That makes total sense." Ocasio-Cortez responded: "Just when you think all hope is lost, we get a Fox News contributor to realize that patriarchy has no gender" She later added: "(Being a woman does not mean you’re immune from being bad to women or genderqueer people. Just like being a man doesn’t mean you don’t have a role in the movement for gender equity! We are all in this together.)" Boothe responded by tweeting a screenshot of the definition of "patriarchy" to Ocasio-Cortez and writing: "Patriarchy by definition is gender based."

…In an interview with WNYC’s “New Yorker Hour,” AOC accused Pelosi of intentionally saddling her with work to keep her out of the spotlight.
“I was assigned to some of the busiest committees and four subcommittees,” AOC said. “So my hands are full. And sometimes I wonder if they’re trying to keep me busy.”
The New York lawmaker had been describing why she declined Pelosi’s offer to sit on a standing committee on climate change. AOC said she declined the Speaker’s offer after she had refused AOC’s demands for what the committee should do.
Asked about how the relationship with Pelosi is generally, AOC deadpanned: “I think sometimes people think that we have a relationship.”
