People are just calling him out because of Trump's hypocrisy as he calls out protesting NFL players for kneeling when he can't even go to the ceremony and sends Kelly instead because its a little chilly and rainy out there. Donnie get cold. People that can't see that are definitely twats though...as in you. Couple of things... 1. It isn't the presidents call. The grounded his helicopter due to the weather. 2. The president isn't a spring chicken, there are plenty of people younger than him that can't handle being in the elements 3. This is a perfect example of the media's bias against trump. This is the most ridiculous thing to criticize him over...even saying he is being disrespectful to veterans? Eff off with that 4. He is the president and can do what he wants. 5. Shows what a petty bitch the op is.

#1 is all that matters. The weather was too bad for Marine One and the 65 mile trip by car wasn't feasible. He went on Sunday, the 11th, the true anniversary.

He clearly is concerned watching the house turn blue and knows his seat is getting warm...nay, hotttt! You sound mad, always. Why? Wife/boyfriend leave you for a younger guy? It's ok to admit you were wrong instead of trying to change the topic and continue to embarrass yourself. Wrong? About what? Did Trump choose to sit at home disrespecting veterans while other leaders of the world went because of rain? Yes. Its OK admit that you're a hypocrite much like your dear leader.

French army mocks Trump for skipping visit to First World War cemetery in Paris due to rain
‘There’s rain but it’s not serious,’ army tweets alongside photo of soldier crawling on ground Emma Snaith 10 hours ago 46 comments Click to follow The Independent The French army has joined the outpouring of criticism over Donald Trump’s decision to cancel a visit to a First World War cemetery because of “poor weather”, after posting a tweet mocking the president. A post on the army’s official Twitter account shows a soldier crawling on the ground in the rain, accompanied by the caption: “#MondayMotivation. There’s rain but it’s not serious. We’re staying motivated.” In response to the tweet, many users added to the ridicule of Mr Trump. “Our courageux président is ready for your obstacle...as soon as it stops raining!” one person wrote. “Spectacular shade,” another added. The ridicule comes after French President Emmanuel Macron called for the creation of a “true European army” to defend itself against threats ranging from Vladimir Putin to the US under Mr Trump. The American president was scheduled to lay a wreath and observe a moment of silence on Saturday at Aisne-Marne American cemetery in the village of Belleau, but called off his appearance due to rain. Watch more Trump missed WWI event to avoid causing traffic jams, White House says The White House said poor visibility had grounded the presidential helicopter and Mr Trump didn’t want to drive to the cemetery because it would have disrupted traffic in Paris. The US president’s decision sparked condemnation in both Europe and the US. Nicholas Soames, a grandson of Sir Winston Churchill and Conservative MP for Mid Sussex, led the criticism, branding the president a “pathetic inadequate”.
“They died with their face to the foe and that pathetic inadequate @realdonaldtrump couldn’t even defy the weather to pay his respects to The Fallen,” he wrote on Twitter. David Frum, a former speech writer for President George W Bush, tweeted that Mr Trump had “shirked on grounds of weather the job of honouring those who fought and died in rain and mud”. Others on social media compared Mr Trump with his predecessor’s efforts in the rain, posting images of Mr Obama speaking during downpours. Ben Rhodes, deputy national security adviser under Barack Obama when he was president, said the White House’s explanation for the cancelled visit made little sense. “I helped plan all of President Obama’s trips for 8 years,” he wrote on Twitter. “There is always a rain option. Always.” A handful of senior administration officials, including White House chief of staff John Kelly, attended Belleau without Mr Trump. Instead, the president appeared at a different ceremony on Sunday at Suresnes American Cemetery and Memorial in Paris where more than 1,500 Americans who died in the war are buried. www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/france-army-trump-ww1-cemetery-visit-cancelled-rain-remembrance-armistice-a8630101.html

Dont disrespect veterans. 3. This is a perfect example of YOUR bias. You're OK with Trump disrespecting veterans directly and yet clench your fists in rage over Kaepernick. Don't disrespect veterans. 4. He can do what he wants, we can still call him a pussy for disrespecting veterans. 5. He is a fucking pussy for disrespecting veterans.

He went to the ceremony on the day it is observed. How ignorant are you? He’s got more Veteran respect than you’ll ever have.

He went to the ceremony on the day it is observed. How ignorant are you? He’s got more Veteran respect than you’ll ever have. Then why is he making excuses about not wanting to drive down there? Why did he send Kelly there if there was no reason to be there? Why were the other leaders there including leaders from Germany, France and Canada but not YOUR dear leader? I'll tell you why, because he is a veterans disrespecting pussy.

Trump, Pence miss Veterans Day observance at Arlington Cemetery
Samuel Chamberlain By Samuel Chamberlain | Fox News Facebook Twitter Flipboard Comments Print Email Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert Wilkie speaks during the National Veterans Day Observance at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va., Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018. (AP Photo/Cliff Owen) Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert Wilkie speaks during the National Veterans Day Observance at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va., Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018. (AP Photo/Cliff Owen) President Trump is spending Monday at the White House and had no plans to visit Arlington National Cemetery in northern Virginia as America observes the Veterans Day holiday. The White House announced a so-called travel lid at 10 a.m. ET, meaning that the president is not expected to hold any public events or leave the executive mansion. Trump returned to Washington on Sunday evening after a weekend in France, where he attended events commemorating the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I. The president paid tribute earlier in the day to U.S. and allied soldiers killed in the so-called "war to end all wars." "We are gathered together at this hallowed resting place to pay tribute to the brave Americans who gave their last breath in that mighty struggle," Trump said at the Suresnes American Cemetery and Memorial in the suburbs of Paris, where more than 1,500 Americans who died in the war are buried. "It is our duty to preserve the civilization they defended and to protect the peace they so nobly gave their lives to secure one century ago," he said after spending a moment, standing alone amid the cemetery's white crosses, holding a black umbrella. Trump marks Armistice Day at WWI cemetaryVideo On Saturday, Trump was criticized for failing to visit a second American cemetery about 60 miles outside of Paris because bad weather grounded the helicopter he planned to take. A handful of senior administration officials, including White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, went in the president's place. Vice President Mike Pence did not attend Sunday's Veterans Day observance at Arlington National Cemetery, where Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie represented the administration. Wilkie made brief remarks and laid a wreath at the Arlington's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, Labor Secretary Alex Acosta, and Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker were among the other Cabinet officials in attendance. Pence departed Washington late Sunday to travel to Japan, where he will discuss North Korea, China, trade and other issues with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. During a stopover in Alaska, Pence gave remarks to soldiers and airmen at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. “You are the vanguard, on the edge of the Pacific, standing watch every day, guarding over the American people,” Pence said. The Veterans Day observance has been held at Arlington every year since 1954 when the holiday's name was formally changed from Armistice Day. www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-pence-miss-veterans-day-observance-at-arlington-cemetery
