www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/press-releases/judicial-watch-uncovers-cover-up-discussions-in-latest-production-of-clinton-email-documents/FBI notes of an interview with an unidentified Platte River Networks official in February 2016 (almost a year after the Clinton email network was first revealed) show that Platte River “gave someone access to live HRC archive mailbox at some point.” The same notes show that an email from December 11, 2014, exists that reads “Hillary cover up operation work ticket archive cleanup.” The interviewee said that the “cover up operation” email “probably related to change to 60 day [sic] email retention policy/backup.” The subject indicated that he didn’t “recall the prior policy.” The notes also indicated, “[Redacted] advised [redacted] not to answer questions related to conv [conversation] w/DK [David Kendall] document 49 – based on 5th amendment.” The subject said that “everyone @ PRN has access to client portal.” A December 11, 2014, Platte River Networks email between redacted parties says: “Its [sic] all part of the Hillary coverup operation <smile> I’ll have to tell you about it at the party” An August 2015 email from Platte River Networks says: “So does this mean we don’t have offsite backups currently? That could be a problem if someone hacks this thing and jacks it up. We will have to be able to produce a copy of it somehow, or we’re in some deep shit. Also, what ever [sic] came from the guys at Datto about the old backups? Do they have anyway [sic] of getting those back after we were told to cut it to 30 days?” In March 2015, Platte River Networks specifically discusses security of the email server. [Redacted] is going to send over a list of recommendations for us to apply for additional security against hackers. He did say we should probably remove all Clinton files, folders, info off our servers etc. on an independent drive. Handwritten notes that appear to be from Platte River Networks in February 2016 mention questions concerning the Clinton email system and state of back-ups ........... There was infighting over the processing of Hillary Clinton’s compromised emails: In an August 2015 classified memo prepared by the FBI Counterintelligence Division regarding the findings of the ICIG with respect to Hillary’s email server, the FBI noted that the ICIG had found that in a sampling of only 40 of Hillary’s 30,000 emails, four classified emails were found. A subsequent letter sent by Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) to ODNI Clapper regarding this sample of Clinton’s emails noted that they were all classified at the secret level. In an August 2015 internal FBI memo, the FBI notes that Hillary Clinton had signed a June 28, 2011, official correspondence advising all State Department employees that, “due to ‘recent targeting of personal e-mail accounts by online adversaries,’ State employees should ‘avoid conducting official Department business from (their) personal e-mail accounts.” The same FBI memo noted that Under Secretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy had sent a memo to all senior State Department officials on August 28, 2014, in which Kennedy included excerpts from the Foreign Affairs Manual that said that “classified information must be sent via classified e-mail channels only…” The documents uncovered by Judicial Watch also show infighting between State Department Under Secretary Patrick Kennedy and the ICIG over the processing of the potentially compromised Clinton email communications. A June 15, 2015, memo for the record prepared by the ICIG regarding the State Department’s review of Hillary Clinton’s emails indicates among other things that the retired foreign service officers that State was using to review Hillary’s emails were not “not optimal.”

www.foxnews.com/politics/nunes-files-150m-lawsuit-against-mcclatchy-alleging-conspiracy-to-derail-clinton-russia-probesThe filing, obtained by Fox News, came a day after Nunes, R-Calif., revealed he would send eight criminal referrals to the Justice Department this week concerning purported surveillance abuses by federal authorities during the Russia probe, false statements to Congress and other matters. n March, Nunes filed a similar $250 million lawsuit alleging defamation against Twitter and one of its users, Republican consultant Liz Mair. In Monday’s complaint, Nunes again named Mair as a co-defendant, charging this time that she conspired with McClatchy reporter MacKenzie Mays to spread a variety of untruthful and misleading smears — including that Nunes “was involved with cocaine and underage prostitutes” — online and in print. Reached for comment late Monday, Mair directed Fox News to a USA Today op-ed she penned earlier this week concerning Nunes’ previous lawsuit entitled, “Free speech means I don’t have to be nice to Devin Nunes on Twitter. So why’s he suing me?”

www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/senate-committee-explore-twitters-treatment-anti-abortion-movie-1200360When it comes to Unplanned, “The ridicule of the mainstream media and Hollywood is to be expected,” Cruz told The Hollywood Reporter. “But big tech’s attempted censorship of (Johnson’s) story during it’s opening weekend is deeply troubling and revealing. I have repeatedly asked tech companies for basic data on how many voices on their social platforms are silenced and to what extent it is politically targeted. I intend to keep asking these questions, and hold them accountable.” As far as I’m concerned, it’s part of a systematic bias against conservative media,” added Konzelman. “We were on Twitter for nine months and an error occurred on opening weekend? That’s not much fun. It’s the film’s theatrical debut. Couldn’t they check their facts a little bit?” .......... Lifetime, for example, told the film’s marketers that they declined to air the commercial due to the “sensitive nature of the film,” the ad buyers tell The Hollywood Reporter. The marketers though, note that the network — which is owned by A&E Networks, a joint venture of Walt Disney and Hearst Communications — previously promoted an interview with Scarlett Johansson where she pitches Planned Parenthood. The Travel Channel, Cooking Channel, HGTV and Food Network, each of which are owned by Discovery, also refused to sell ad time for Unplanned due to the “sensitive nature” of the movie, say those who tried buying air time. Other networks that refused to advertise the movie include the Hallmark Channel and USA Network, the latter of which is owned by NBCUniversal. “We were looking to spend money, but they didn’t want to get involved,” said John Sullivan, a producer of Unplanned. THR reached out to all of the networks; Lifetime declined to comment while the rest did not respond. “Most of the networks didn’t go into detail beyond citing the subject matter of the film and that they didn’t want to get into politics. But we don’t believe we’re in the political category,” said Joe Knopp, an Unplanned producer. ............... Karma:

dailycaller.com/2019/04/09/fbi-james-baker-dossier-reporter/Baker told Congress in 2018 about his interactions with a liberal reporter who was “anxious” to provide the bureau with a copy of the infamous and unverified Steele dossier. “I don’t remember specifically the date of these conversations, but I know that David was anxious to get [the dossier] into the hands of FBI. And being the person at the FBI that he knew the best, he wanted to give it to me,” Baker told lawmakers Oct. 3, 2018, according to a testimony transcript released Tuesday. Baker was speaking of David Corn, a reporter with Mother Jones who was one of a small handful of journalists to interview dossier author Christopher Steele prior to the 2016 election. Baker, a longtime friend of Corn’s, said the reporter provided him with memos from the Steele dossier that the FBI did not previously have in its possession. “My recollection is that he had part of the dossier, that we had other parts already, and that we got still other parts from other people, and that — and nevertheless some of the parts that David Corn gave us were parts that we did not have from another source,” said Baker, who left the FBI in May 2018. Baker’s testimony seems to conflict with Corn’s claims about why and when Corn shared the dossier with the FBI. Corn told The Hill in July 2018 he provided parts of Steele’s dossier to Baker after the 2016 election “in order to see if the bureau would authenticate the documents and now comment on them.” “Once again, it would not,” said Corn, who also told The Hill he discussed Steele’s allegations with Baker prior to the election. Baker’s testimony paints a picture of an eager reporter who wanted to share evidence with the FBI related to Donald Trump and his campaign. He also said he recalled that Corn provided him with Steele’s information prior to the election. clearly is that at some point in time David had part of what is now referred to as the Steele dossier and he talked to me about that and wanted to provide that to the FBI,” said Baker. “And so, even though he was my friend, I was also an FBI official. He knew that.” Baker said he could not recall exactly when before the election Corn provided him with Steele’s memos, but Republican North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows said Congress had information that they had a conversation in September 2016. Corn published a story Oct. 31, 2016, that quoted Steele anonymously regarding allegations that the Russian government might be able to blackmail Trump. Corn’s article led the FBI to cut ties with Steele for improperly disclosing that he was a confidential source for the bureau. That hiatus was short-lived, however, as the FBI asked Justice Department official Bruce Ohr to re-establish contact with Steele in later November 2016. Ohr communicated with Steele through at least May 2017. (RELATED: Bruce Ohr’s Testimony Contradicted Glenn Simpson’s) Steele, a former MI6 officer, first met with an FBI official regarding his Trump investigation July 5, 2016. Counterintelligence officials have said the FBI did not receive what’s known as the Steele dossier until mid-September 2016. But top FBI officials received some information gathered by Steele in early August 2016. Ohr told Congress he met with then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe just days after he met with Steele in Washington, D.C., on July 30, 2016. Steele was working at the time for Fusion GPS, an opposition research firm that was hired by the DNC and Clinton campaign to investigate Trump’s ties to Russia. Baker said in his testimony that he knew during the investigation that Glenn Simpson, the founder of Fusion GPS, “was going around Washington giving [the dossier] out to a lot of different people and trying to elevate its profile.” “And so we had heard that it had been given to members of the media, and I assume David was there for one of the people who got it from Simpson.” Corn did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

dailycaller.com/2019/04/09/stefan-halper-doj-fbi-informant/The Justice Department’s inspector general is reportedly scrutinizing the FBI’s use of former professor Stefan Halper as a confidential informant during the investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government. Michael Horowitz, the DOJ inspector general, has inquired about Halper, a former Cambridge University professor who has been identified in the press as a longtime FBI and CIA informant, according to The New York Times. www.nytimes.com/2019/04/09/us/politics/russia-investigation-barr.html?smid=nytcore-ios-shareHorowitz’s investigators “have been asking questions” about Halper’s work with the FBI, including prior to his involvement in the Trump-Russia probe, the Times reported. The Daily Caller News Foundation reported March 25, 2018, that Halper, who worked in the Nixon, Ford and Reagan administrations, made contact during the 2016 campaign with Trump aides Carter Page, Sam Clovis and George Papadopoulos. He was identified as a government informant by the Times and The Washington Post in May 2018. Horowitz is looking into whether the FBI was aware of Halper’s contact with Clovis, who served as co-chairman of Trump’s campaign, according to the Times. Horowitz began investigating the FBI’s handling of the investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government March 28, 2018. The investigation has centered on the FBI’s use of the Steele dossier to obtain surveillance warrants against Page. Horowitz has also probed the FBI’s relationship with Christopher Steele, the author of the dossier, as well as Steele’s contacts with Bruce Ohr, a Justice Department official who served as a back channel between the dossier author and FBI.

Those that are in the bag for the left don't see anything wrong whatsoever with this whole fiasco. Remember, for the left, the ends always justify the means. In this case, the end is the removal of Donald Trump from the White House, and the means are anything at all, legal or illegal. Whether it be the coup attempt we've seen, indictment, impeachment, even assassination would be unbelievably satisfying to them. Other than Alan Dershowitz, have you seen any Democrat express concern about the behavior of the FBI, CIA, or Obama's DOJ during and since the election? Complete crickets. I would like to think that we lived in a time and country where the vast majority of people conducted themselves in good faith and wanted actual justice to be done. Unfortunately, that ship has sailed, and we have to push back against the evil and the lies that we see every day.

President Trump: After wasting all of this money and all of this time with people who were haters. People that worked on the Hillary Clinton Foundation, people who were absolutely haters of Trump. They found no collusion. What has been found during this period of time are the illegal acts of getting this whole phony investigation started. And hopefully that’s where people are going now. And it’s very interesting. It was an illegal investigation. It was started illegally. Everything about it was crooked. Every single thing about it. There were dirty cops. These were bad people. You look at McCabe and Comey and you look at Lisa and Peter Strzok. These were bad people. And this was an attempted coup. This was an attempted take down of a president. And we beat them. We beat them.

dougcollins.house.gov/sites/dougcollins.house.gov/files/Baker%20Day%202%20Redacted.pdfCongressman Mark Meadows asked if multiple Trump associates (besides Carter Page) were spied on with FISA warrants. It is believed that Obama’s corrupt DOJ and FBI obtained FISA warrants on General Mike Flynn, Paul Manafort and George Papadopoulos, however it has not been confirmed. Baker’s refusal to answer Meadows suggests that Obama’s FBI and DOJ indeed spied on Flynn and others with FISA warrants. Meadows wanted to know how many FISA warrants related to Russia collusion that James Baker reviewed as it related to the probable cause portion. “How many FISA applications did you review as it relates to Russia?” Meadows asked Baker. FBI lawyers interjected and wouldn’t let Baker answer, claiming the information is “sensitive” and “almost always classified.” Meadows continued to push back. “Well, there was a text message in a nonclassified setting that would indicate that there were multiple FISA applications, as many as 17 different FISA applications that may or may not have related to this particular subject,” Meadows said, adding, “Would it surprise you to know that there were — or is there more FISA applications beyond just the Carter Page FISA application that we’ve been discussing as it relates to this investigation?” An FBI lawyer interjected and would not let James Baker answer Meadows’s questions on the FISA applications. Meadows continued, “There’s multiple texts. There’s multiple texts that would indicate Lisa Page — it’s in a text message between Lisa Page and Andy McCabe that says, you know, your particular — I can read it. Would you like me to read it?” Meadows was referring to a text exchange between Lisa Page and Andrew McCabe that took place on October 19th, 2016, just two days before the first FISA warrant was opened on Carter Page. “There will be nine packages for you to sign, with the possibility of eight additional if the NSLB signs off on them. They’ll probably won’t be WUDsd (ph) by 7:30. The FISA team will be delivering them at 7.” Lisa Page said in a text to McCabe. “Were there multiple FISA applications?” Meadows asked after reading Lisa Page’s October 2016 text to McCabe. “Were there other individuals connected directly or indirectly with the Trump campaign that had a FISA warrant placed on them for the purpose of surveilling conversations and collecting data other than Carter Page that you’re aware of?” Meadows asked again. “I’m not going to answer it right now,” Baker responded. An FBI lawyer [name redacted] objected to Meadows’s question and promised to follow up with the Republican lawmaker perhaps in a classified setting. Obama’s corrupt FBI and DOJ obtained one FISA warrant and three subsequent renewals (4 total) on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page. The final FISA warrant was signed in June of 2017 by DAG Rod Rosenstein and Andrew McCabe AFTER Mueller was appointed special counsel to investigate Trump-Russia collusion. Baker’s refusal to answer Meadows strongly suggests others in Trump’s orbit were also spied on with FISA warrants — this is one of the biggest scandals in US history and all roads lead back to Obama and Hillary Clinton.

thefederalist.com/2019/04/10/top-fbi-lawyer-testified-rosenstein-discussed-removing-trump-office/Top FBI Lawyer Testified Rosenstein Discussed Removing Trump From Office APRIL 10, 2019 By Madeline Osburn James Baker, the former top lawyer of the FBI, testified to members of Congress last fall that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and other FBI officials discussed wearing a wire in meetings with President Trump and removing him from office, according to a transcript of Baker’s testimony released on Tuesday. In a joint committee on October 3, 2018, Baker was questioned in a closed-door interview on his knowledge of the Christopher Steele dossier, classified information leaked to the media, and invoking the 25th Amendment against President Trump. Baker’s testimony confirmed what former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe previously said about national security officials strategizing to remove President Trump from office. Baker said Rosenstein made a serious suggestion to wear a wire when near the president in order to collect evidence that the president obstructed the investigation on Russian collusion. Baker also said he suspected Rosenstein was acting in response to the firing of James Comey, and that he felt he had been “used” by the president in his justification for firing Comey. there were two members of the Cabinet who were willing to go down this road already,” regarding conversations about invoking the 25th Amendment. Baker testified that he met with a lawyer for Perkins Coie, the law firm hired by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign to do opposition research on Donald Trump, named Michael Sussmann. He said Sussmann did not provide him information about the dossier, but about other information related to the Trump-Russia investigation that Sussmann believed the FBI should have. Baker said he passed Sussmann’s information on to other FBI officials. Perkins Coie was the law firm responsible for funneling money to Fusian GPS, who hired British spy Christopher Steele. When asked if he verified that the source of this information from Sussman was being funded by Clinton and the DNC before turning it over to the FBI, Baker said “it did not seem inappropriate” to him. When asked about his relationship with his “long-time friend” and journalist David Corn, chief of the Washington bureau for the far-left outlet Mother Jones, Baker said Corn gave him a “significant portion of the dossier” which he in turn gave to Bill Priestap, the head of FBI Counterintelligence. “What I remember most clearly is that at some point in time David had part of what is now referred to as the Steele dossier and he talked to me about that and wanted to provide that to the FBI. And so, even though he was my friend, I was also an FBI official. He knew that. And so he wanted to somehow get that into the hands of the FBI…” Baker said. “I don’t remember specifically the date of these conversations, but I know that David was anxious to get this into the hands of FBI.” Baker said he didn’t remember if Corn told him where he got the dossier from, but that he assumed it came from Fusion GPS’s Glenn Simpson. “Sitting here today, I don’t remember him telling me that, where he got it,” he said. “My understanding at the time was that Simpson was going around Washington giving this out to a lot of different people and trying to elevate its profile.” Lastly, Baker said when the application for a FISA warrant against Carter Page came across his desk for approval, he did not read the supporting evidence used for the application. “I have participated in one way or another in the review of 10,000 FISA applications, and I don’t think I ever read the Woods file contemporaneously with reading the application,” Baker explained. When pressed by Reps. Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan on this point, and whether Baker knew the dossier was funded by the DNC before or after the FISA application was taken to court, Baker said he couldn’t remember: providence of this thing at the time of the FISA application… There were other things in that application that to me were alarming, as well. I am not going to sit here and say that there wouldn’t have been probable cause or that there would have been probable cause without the dossier. I would have to go back and look at it again, but there were other activities of Mr. Page that were alarming to me that I thought certainly merited an investigation. Rep. Doug Collins, who released the transcript on Tuesday, said he “will continue to work to release as many transcripts as possible, including the entirety of Mr. Baker’s interview with the Judiciary Committee. The American people deserve the truth.” Read the full transcript here. dougcollins.house.gov/sites/dougcollins.house.gov/files/BakerRedacted.pdf

dailycaller.com/2019/04/10/gaetz-schiff-intel-committee-russia/Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz unveiled his new resolution targeting House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff for his handling of the Russian collusion theory, during Tucker Carlson’s Wednesday show. The resolution, titled “Preventing Extreme Negligence with Classified Information Licenses Resolution“—or “Pencil Act”—calls for Schiff’s resignation from the committee. The acronym is a reference to “pencil neck,” which is President Donald Trump’s recent nickname for Schiff. “Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that Congressman Adam Schiff should be removed from the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House and that his security clearance should be revoked immediately,” the resolution begins. “Whereas Congressman Adam Schiff is the Chairman of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives.” “I have filed legislation today, sent to the House, that Adam Schiff needs to be removed from the Intelligence Committee, because how are the rest of us supposed to be able to rely on a man, who you just showed, lied to the American people when he said that there was not spying? Or when he lied and said that there was actual evidence of collusion or clear evidence of collusion?” Gaetz began. “If Adam Schiff is able to review covert operations and intelligence, and if we have to rely on his representation, our whole system is broken,” he continued. “It would be like putting Lori Loughlin in charge of the college board. It would be like putting Jussie Smollett in charge of the hate crime of the FBI.” As Gaetz referenced, Schiff has faced significant heat since special counsel Robert Mueller completed his investigation and filed his report. Attorney General William Barr relayed to Congress a summary of the report, which concluded that the president’s 2016 campaign did not conspire with Russia. Back in March 2017, Schiff claimed he had seen “more than circumstantial evidence of collusion.” The nine Republicans on the House Intel Committee sent a letter to Schiff at the end of March that called for him to step down, alleging that he “spent two years knowingly and unlawfully lying and leaking, should be forced to resign from Congress!”

www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-04-15/rep-schiff-issues-friendly-subpoena-multiple-banks-probing-different-form-trumpUpdate: Eric Trump has issued a statement blasting the subpoeanas: "This subpoena is an unprecedented abuse of power and simply the latest attempt by House Democrats to attack the President and our family for political gain. Instead of legislating, the committee is obsessed with harassing and undermining my father's administration, doing everything they can to distract from his incredible accomplishments. This incompetence is the exact reason why the American people have such disdain for politicians and why my father was elected President. Today's actions by the committee set a horrible precedent for all taxpayers." * * * With just three days until the full (redacted) Mueller Report is released, shattering his entire raison d'etre, House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff refuses to give up on his search for Trump-Russia collusion. Bloomberg reports that Congressional Democrats issued subpoenas to Deutsche Bank AG and other banks to obtain long-sought documents related to whether foreign nations tried to influence U.S. politics, signaling an escalation of their probes into President Donald Trump’s finances and any dealings with Russians. Schiff said in a statement the subpoenas issued included a "friendly subpoena to Deutsche Bank." The Financial Services Committee chair, Maxine Waters, said in a statement: "The potential use of the U.S. financial system for illicit purposes is a very serious concern. The Financial Services Committee is exploring these matters, including as they may involve the president and his associates, as thoroughly as possible." Deutsche Bank spokeswoman Kerrie McHugh said Monday: “Deutsche Bank is engaged in a productive dialogue with the House Financial Services and Intelligence Committees. We remain committed to providing appropriate information to all authorized investigations in a manner consistent with our legal obligations. If you have questions concerning the investigative activities of the committees, we would refer you to the committees themselves.” Deutsche Bank had been Trump’s go-to lender for decades, even as other commercial banks stopped doing business with him because of multiple bankruptcies. Additionally, CNN reports that the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has subpoenaed Trump financial information from Mazars, an accounting firm that once prepared several years' worth of President Donald Trump's financial statements, according to a Monday memo to committee members from Chairman Elijah Cummings. Cummings had said he intended to issue a "friendly subpoena" because Mazars USA had requested it from the committee before providing records. Cummings is requesting financial information dating back 10 years after Trump's former personal attorney Michael Cohen accused Trump of inflating his net worth in an attempt to buy the Buffalo Bills football team. In the memo, Cummings said the subpoena is also based on "corroborating documents" that "raise grave questions about whether the President has been accurate in his financial reporting." While possible financial leverage wasn’t mentioned in Attorney General William Barr’s four-page summary of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s findings from his 22-month probe of Russian election interference, Schiff remains unable to face his own cognitive dissonance, frequently noting that billionaire real-estate-developer Trump was pursuing a Trump Tower (real estate) project in Moscow during the presidential campaign... “That’s a different form of collusion, but it is equally compromising to the country because it means the president of the United States is looking out for his bank account and not for the United States of America," Schiff said in an interview on NBC in February.
